The resort has 255 rooms (140 of which are inter-connecting). The interior design is modern yet sophisticated and the rooms are all spacious, well designed and furnished, blending indoor and open air living. 

With five restaurants to choose from, there is a huge variety on offer for guests, from Asian to Italian, fine dining to beach chic. The restaurants are run by a team of outstanding international chefs and the food is divine, especially the homemade noodles in Chopsticks (the modern casual Chinese restaurant) – tried and tested by the Turquoise team! Pancakes are served poolside in the afternoons as well as fresh fruit and ice cream for anyone feeling peckish after a morning under the intense Mauritian sun - there is certainly no risk of going hungry at Long Beach! Both Shores Bar in the main resort and Tides Beach Bar provide the perfect setting for cocktails at sunset and also for an aperitif, before a Mauritian boogie in Bombora nightclub which opens three nights a week.

Long Beach offers an unending array of activities for adults and children of all ages and is home to one of the best equipped kids clubs on the island. The Angels Club and the Waves Teens Club act as a mini resort in themselves with access to swimming pools, tennis courts, chill out areas, cyber cafés, pool tables, an eating area for the younger children, a juice bar...just to name a few of their facilities! There is also a daily activity programme for children of all ages from water sports to local excursions, beach barbecues and camp fires. The resort also caters fantastically during the summer months for older children, hosting beach parties with live DJs and musicians to the early hours of the morning…..and parents will be pleased to note that this all happens at the opposite end of the resort from the accommodation!

However, it is not just the children which Long Beach caters for, as the resort also boasts a fabulous Spa and Wellness Retreat, Cinq Mondes Spa Paris. Specialising in a 360 degree wellness concept. For those looking for a more active trip, a fully equipped gym, a full length lap pool, tennis courts, a football pitch and the only climbing wall in Mauritius!
