Philippines Honeymoons
The Philippines is a collection of over 7000 islands, all with something different to offer, but pretty much all with idyllic white beaches and crystal clear turquoise sea. So, if picture perfect beach is an important ingredient in your honeymoon then The Philippines is an ideal destination for you.
Philippines Family Holidays
The Philippines has so many islands to choose from that families are spoilt for choice. As many of the local Filipino’s holiday in their own country, most of the resorts are really well set up for kids of all ages with plenty of activities and facilities tailored for kids - from kids clubs within the resorts to excursions to explore the awe-inspiring scenery on specially created family excursions.
Bohol & Panglao
For nature and adventure lovers Bohol is a beautiful natural island, covered with jungle clad mountains, rice paddies and scattered with charming local villages. At its heart are the famous Chocolate Hills, a unique collection of hills so called as in the dry season they turn brown and resemble Hershey’s Kisses! Enjoy a day tour to see the smallest primates in the world – Tarsiers, cute little creatures about the size of a squirrel with huge eyes, cruise down the river observing local life along its banks, see how rice is grown and walk amongst the chocolate hills.
Boracay
Boracay is one of the best known islands and most popular islands of the Philippines due to its four kilometre white sand beach which is lined with hotels, restaurants and bars. The sand is so powder soft it squeeks between your toes and it is pure white, the sea turquoise - great for snorkelling and also diving. Whilst it is a busy little island it also has a unique charm and is not tacky or spoilt – it is fun and vibrant and perfect for those looking to include a bit of nightlife in their holiday.
Cebu
Cebu is one of the largest islands in the Visayas region, a collection of hundreds of islands in the centre of The Philippines, world renowned for diving, snorkelling and soft adventure. The island of Cebu is one of the major international gateways and often the starting point for a Turquoise Holiday to the Philippines, with direct flights from Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Dubai.
Manila
The metropolis of Manila, widely known as Metro Manila, encompasses 16 cities, including the country’s city capital Manila. There are plenty of airlines flying in and out of Manila, however it is sometimes necessary to include an overnight in the city before flying out to The Philippines idyllic islands, due to the domestic flight schedules. Turquoise Holidays recommends staying in the city of Makati, known for its upscale malls, and lively social scene, with a great choice of bars and restaurants. It is also home to Ayala Museum, which is well worth a visit for those interested in the history of The Philippines.
Palawan
Palawan is a collection of islands in the west of the Philippines, includes the island of Coron and El Nido, both famous for their impressive limestone karst scenery, azure lagoons and amazing snorkelling and diving – it has been voted the most beautiful islands in the world by Conde Nast and we can see why. Stay in one of the resorts tucked away within the bays and coves of this dramatic landscape – this is the part of your holiday where you’ll feel castaway in a remote hideaway retreat.
Siargao
Siargao is a small teardrop-shaped island 800 kilometers south of Manila at the northeastern tip of Mindanao in the east of The Philippines. This is a remote, totally under-the-radar nature lover’s paradise, traditionally known as the surfing capital of the Philippines with its strong swells, particularly in September. Beyond the surf it has plenty to offer from pristine, quiet beaches, exotic wildlife, coral reefs, secluded natural pools, underground caves, world-renowned sport fishing and diving, exquisite seafood, lively nightlife and more.
