June is officially low season in the Caribbean but the chances are the weather will still be gorgeous, so now is a great time to snaffle a bargain at one of the most exclusive resorts before the long summer holidays begins. The Indonesian island of Lombok enjoys dry and sunny weather but slightly cooler temperatures from June to August bring relief from the tropical sun, with the added advantage of being just that little bit quieter than neighbouring Bali.
