MOTU Beachfront Art Villas, Rarotonga

Nestled in the pretty gardens and along the beach, the 10 Polynesian-style villas offer a heavenly secluded stay, each offering a relaxing living area, separate bedroom, small kitchen, sundeck and air-conditioning.

The Onu Lagoon View Villas are just steps from the beach amongst the tropical gardens. Onu means turtle, and these fascinating creatures can sometimes be spotted in the lagoon. Hugging the lagoon, the Manutai Beachfront Villas offer wonderful ocean views from the inviting sundeck and covered veranda, but our favourite villas are the two Ariki Premium Beachfront Villas, tucked away along the beachfront with extra privacy and space.

Whilst MOTU doesn't have a restaurant, Rarotonga's many cafés and restaurants are within easy reach – some are within walking distance and some will collect you. A delicious tropical breakfast and fruit hamper awaits you on arrival, and the facilities in each villa allow you to be independent when you choose to stay 'home' and self-cater whilst soaking up the lagoon views. You are also welcome to make use of the BBQ located at the poolside. 

Spend your days on the beach making use of the snorkelling equipment, stand-up paddleboards and kayaks, or take a dip in the pool, surrounded by swaying palms.  For a day to remember, head out on the lagoon for a cruise with a passionate guide, enjoying snorkelling hotspots and a delicious lunch.
