12 day journey - Bangkok - River Kwai - Kanchanaburi - Koh Samui (or other island)

Family Holiday – Nature, Elephants, Adventure & Beach

A perfect trio of authentic and unspoilt Thailand – explore the remote countryside of Kanchanaburi, encounter elephants in their natural surroundings and trek through national parks to waterfalls. Combine this with a couple of nights in lively Bangkok and a week on the beautiful beach in Koh Samui.

Kanchanaburi, just a few hours’ drive from Bangkok, is home to the Bridge on the River Kwai and serves as a poignant reminder of the atrocities suffered here during World War II, however many don’t realise that this beautiful province of Thailand is also home to Erawan National Park, which is renowned for its elephant and colorful birdlife, cascading waterfalls. You’ll also discover authentic local villages, ideally explored by bicycle and view life along the river by local raft. This really is a region worth exploring and offers the perfect blend of adventure, combined with Bangkok and a gorgeous beach for family holiday or honeymoon full of memories.

Why Turquoise Loves...
Thailand
“What makes ‘The Land of Smiles’ so special to me, is the sheer diversity of Thailand – it’s a melting pot of so many elements. While the beaches are breathtaking and the hotels stunning, it’s the other, more surprising, elements that you should experience, too. The beauty of its landscapes, the warmth of the local people, and the seamless blend of modern life with traditional culture, add such a unique experience to any trip. You are just bound to fall in love!” Caroline Horn, Thailand travel specialist
