Cambodia Honeymoons
With a history spanning more than a thousand years, Cambodia is a fascinating destination which is sure to both delight and entrance you. The awe-inspiring temples of Angkor are the stuff of mystery and legend, and are surely one of the most memorable and special things you can experience as a honeymoon couple. Together, you can explore the jungle-clad temples of Ta Prohm whose ancient trees have spread their thick roots through the very walls of the temple buildings. A stay in Siem Reap can easily be combined with some time relaxing on one of Southern Cambodia's beautiful island resorts. To add a jungle twist to your honeymoon, consider stopping off in the Cardamon National Park in a remote tented camp - a world away from reality and a wonderful destination to explore, just the two of you.
Phnom Penh
Situated at the confluence of the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers, Cambodia’s capital city is a vibrant mix of wide boulevards, Khmer style temples, crumbling colonial buildings and lively riverside cafés.
Siem Reap
Begun more than one thousand years ago by the legendary Khmer empire, Angkor is one of the world’s most impressive sights. The sheer scale and enormity of the complex will amaze you. Over one thousand temples are contained within the archaeological park which covers an area of more than 400 square kilometres in total. Siem Reap is a vibrant city about 20 minutes drive away and has a number of beautiful hotel options.
South Coast Cambodia
Cambodia’s beautiful south coast remains undeveloped and offers some pristine beaches and islands. Sihanoukville is the country’s leading beach resort which is still untouched compared with Thailand and Vietnam’s more established destinations and offers empty white sandy beaches and unspoilt tropical islands.
