Muscat City Tour

Explore the highlights of Muscat by visiting the Grand Mosque, The Royal Opera House and the Muscat Fish market in Mattrah before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant. The full day tour will proceed to the Bait Al Zubair Museum followed by a drive along the waterfront corniche visiting the colourful Muttrah souq where you can pick up a local Omani gift. End your experience with a stop at Al Alam Palace before heading back to your hotel.

A Wadi Walk

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset by pristine white beaches. Your first stop will be at Quriyat Fort a 19th century fortress, an example of a traditional coastal defence building.  Hike through Oman’s scenic beauty stopping off at the Bimah sinkhole, a limestone crater filled with green-blue waters. Then start on an adventurous route cutting through the mountains. At the end of the drive, Wadi Arbayeen awaits with its deep pools of water set among the date palms. Enjoy a picnic lunch here before your drive back via Wadi Mazara visiting the Wadi Dayqah Dam.

Day trip to Nizwa

Begin your day with a stroll around the Nizwa Fort, built in the 17th century it is known as the capital of the interior followed by the neighbouring souq renowned for its Friday cattle market, ornamental silver jewellery and pottery. En route to Jabrin, visit the Bahla Fort which has been declared as a World Heritage site. The castle displays the highest achievement in Omani ceiling painting & beautifully executed woodcarvings.  Finish your journey back to Muscat with a visit to the beautiful village of Birkat Al Mauz situated at the foothills of Jebel Akhdar, known as the Green Mountains with a walk through its oasis and dense date plantations.

Oman’s Grand Canyon

On your way to the Wahiba Sands desert visit a Bedouin house before stumbling upon Wadi Bani Khalid, a stunning wadi pool where you can spend time swimming and relaxing, embedded in the mountains– a true contrast to the desert. As you arrive in to the desert, you will notice the red and white ripples of sand dunes jumping up to 200 metres high whilst enjoying the thrilling rides up and down the dunes. Here you can find roaming Camels and a variety of flora and fauna, sit back and enjoy a truly unique sunset.

Wahiba Sands

Damaniyat Islands Boat trip

Set sail on a catamaran trip to the Damaniyat Islands, a beautiful nature reserve off the coast of Muscat. Here you can snorkel with many turtles and fish along with spending a leisurely afternoon swimming and paddle boarding whilst exploring the sandy beaches around the nine picturesque islands. A trip we highly recommend. Finish with lunch on board your boat.

City Tour of Salalah

Explore the city of Salalah stopping off at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque of Salalah, the third largest mosque in Oman. Wander through the male and female prayer rooms with huge chandeliers and wonderfully decorated walls before ending with a photo opportunity outside with the Islamic architecture. Next head to Al Husn souq in Dhofar where frankincense crystals are sold, haggle with the locals and experience authentic Salalah. Wander the waterfront corniche before heading to the Frankincense museum with historical artifacts, art and paintings.

Jebel Safari Tour

This full day safari takes you on a journey through the Dhofar mountain range stopping off at picturesque sights and spots along the way. The first stop is a beautiful photo opportunity above above a cliff overlooking the village of Taqa. Then on to the ‘ever green’ Wadi Darbat, this stunning landscape consists of a flowing Wadi bed with camels, goats and donkeys wandering past. In the monsoon season you can witness an almost 100m natural waterfall. Continue your journey on to one of the worlds largest sinkholes located at Tawi Attair and known as the ‘well of birds’. Driving up the mountain range you will come to Jebel Samhan a breathtaking plateau sitting 1700m high. This location is commonly known as the ‘Grand Canyon’ of Dhofar, giving one a complete view of the east coast to the one side & the vast ‘Qara’ mountain range to the other.
