The Six Weligama

Each villa is set over two floors, with a mix of living, dining and sleeping space. Whilst the villas are adjacent to each other, care has been taken in the design to ensure privacy for all, and they all have a private entrance, and private beach access. All villas feature four ensuite bedrooms, as well as accommodation for nannies or drivers if required. Curl up with a good book in one of the lounges, or soaking up the Sri Lankan sunshine beside the 24 ft private pool, or make use of the gym equipment or sauna. Baby cots are available, as are extra beds if needed. The villas are fully air-conditioned and all include a TV with streaming capabilities.

The Six caters to your every dining wish and whim – whether a relaxed beach barbeque is what you feel like, or an extravagant seafood feast to celebrate a special occasion. All meals are served privately at your villa, catered by the expert in-house team. Expect plenty of fresh Sri Lankan flavours and spices, seafood caught fresh that day, and tropical fruit in abundance. Try the floating breakfast for a different start to the day.

Whilst most guests while away their days enjoying the luxuries of their beachside villa, there is plenty to explore nearby. Hire surfboards or get a lesson to sample Weligama’s famous waves, learn about turtle conservation, or head out whale watching in season. Snorkel to explore the underwater colours and marinelife just offshore. Join the chef behind the scenes to learn some traditional Sri Lankan dishes to impress your friends and family back home. For guests wanting a more serene stay, private yoga lessons or sunset sails can be organised, making a beautiful start or end to the day. Spa treatments are offered in-villa, for those in need of a little pampering.
