This is a place for couples, families and friends to settle into island life with ease, where 67 spacious Pool Villas and Residences blur the boundaries between indoors and out, inviting long, sun‑soaked days and slow, starlit evenings. Rooted in sustainability, inclusivity and a deep respect for Maldivian culture, Amilla is EarthCheck Gold Certified, IncluCare‑accredited and part of SLH’s Considerate Collection.

SLEEP

Amilla Maldives spans across 23 hectares and the villas & residences across the island feel wonderfully expansive, contemporary and are designed around the natural landscape. Even the lead‑in Reef Water Pool Villas begin at an impressive 130m² of interior space, offering private pools, ocean views and effortless access to one of Baa Atoll’s best house reefs for keen snorkellers. The Lagoon Water Pool Villas add a relaxed lounge area with a daybed and sofa that can be prepared for two children, while still offering excellent snorkelling from their calm, blue shallows. For larger families, the rare Treetop Pool Villas provide a second bedroom with twin beds and are elevated among the palms, with each villa assigned its own private stretch of beach.

Eat

Dining at Amilla Maldives is a relaxed and varied celebration of flavour, with seven dining outlets, including in-villa dining for those who prefer to enjoy a meal in the privacy of their villa.

Enjoy daily breakfast at Fresh, while neighbouring East brings fragrant Indian dishes and Barolo offers Italian classics for dinner. Joe’s Pizza conjures wood‑fired creations at lunch and on select evenings. The Emperor Beach Club sits just up the shore for light bites and sunset drinks, while Baa Bar anchors the beachfront with music, shisha and occasional karaoke nights. Feeling Koi, the overwater Japanese restaurant and sunset bar on the arrival jetty, offers a more intimate dining option.

Play

The natural playground of Amilla Maldives creates days of gentle discovery and easygoing adventure, with the island’s lagoon, reef and leafy interior offering a serene backdrop for exploration. Non‑motorised water sports are available to guests, guided house‑reef snorkelling tours, paddleboards and kayaks, while weekly activities range from art lessons and mixology to cooking classes and workshops on kombucha, nut milks and homemade tonics. Social tennis sessions are available for adults and children, and a dedicated football academy is complemented by bocce, badminton, beach volleyball, giant chess and other island games.

As part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Amilla also offers a Marine Information Centre and nature bird walks that deepen your connection to Baa Atoll. Evenings bring a lively, easygoing energy with fire shows, LED performances, DJ nights, karaoke, live music and Maldivian Bodu Beru. Families are beautifully catered for with a welcoming Kids Club for ages 4–12, while signature experiences like the sunset dolphin cruise, complete with music, champagne & canapés, and often visited by playful spinner dolphins, create magical moments
