From the Deluxe Rooms right up to the One Bedroom Ocean Front Suites, all 63 accommodations offer a great space to relax, including a private terrace and beautiful bathroom. All are wonderfully furnished with indigenous artwork and hand crafted furniture, the rooms beautifully evoke Mexican living. The toiletries are all local organic products using honey, aloe vera and coconut. We love the little touches such as traditional kaftans, a choice of aromatherapy oils for nightly turndown and early morning tea & coffee delivery.

El Restaurante is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dine al fresco on Mexican specialties such as tacos, enchiladas and suckling pig, all served up with a modern twist. Enjoy Mediterranean style tapas at El Sol, open only for dinner. Freddy's Tequila & Ceviche bar is the perfect spot for a beachside sundowner and also serves light beach casual fare during the daytime. Our favourite experience is La Cantina which opens twice a week for a truly authentic evening. Traditional Mexican dishes are served in a cantina style setting for only a few guests, all washed down with homemade beers and fine tequila or mezcal - an experience not to missed!

Indulge in a treatment in the wonderful Kinan spa, where every part has been aligned with the stars to create a positive energy flow. Treatment rooms point east to west, representing day and night. Massage beds face east, symbolizing new beginnngs. Back at the beach, enjoy a session in the traditional temazcal sauna. Performed at dusk, this ancient ceremony involves chants and meditation. Heated rocks are doused with herb-infused water to create an aromatic, healing steam. Aloe vera is then applied to nourish the skin. After the sun sets, plunge into the sea and you will be left feeling refreshed and at peace.

There are 3 pools (one for adults only), 2 tennis courts, a great fitness centre and a selection of watersports. Enjoy a 60 minute bike tour though the jungle. Taking place 6 days a week this is an excellent way to venture into nature and you may spot spider monkeys, colourful butterlies and a variety of parrots and other bird life. Take a snorkelling trip to nearby Gran Arrecife Maya, the second largest barrier reef in the world. June to September is whale shark season and if you are lucky, you may find yourself swimming alongside one of these gentle giants!

Garden View and Ocean View Master Suites will sleep 2 adults and 2 children under 12yrs. For additional space or families with older children, Garden View Rooms can interconnect with an Ocean View Master Suite. Kids are treated to their own slippers and kaftans which match Mum & Dads, as well as milk & cookies at bed time.

There's a daily 2 hour supervised activity programme for 4yrs and over where kids can learn about Mexican culture through play. Older kids will enjoy the games room.
