All of the spacious suites and villas are either part of the original building or dotted throughout the tropical gardens. Dining at Hotel Esencia takes place at The Pool Restaurant and on occasional evenings or during inclement weather, at The Garden Restaurant. Activities are simple and low key - grab a snorkel & fins to explore the marine life, take a walk along the pristine talcum-soft beach or recharge body and mind with a sunrise yoga class. For something a little more active, there's a small fitness centre with Technogym equipment and pilates reformer.

Hotel Esencia accepts children all year round but don't expect to find a kids club or activities. All rooms will take an extra bed but for more space, book one of the fantastic 2 bedroom pool villas.
