Calabash Hotel

Understated elegance and Caribbean charm permeate throughout this delightful boutique hotel.  The suites are set in the shape of a horseshoe in two-storey buildings with views over the landscaped gardens and across the Caribbean Sea. Named after tropical flowers, the suites feature a terrace or balcony to allow the sweet-scented Caribbean air to flow and bring the outside in.

Superior Suites blend contemporary Caribbean elegance with colours of the sand and sea, whilst Deluxe Suites are located on the upper floor featuring stunning views over the lawn. The beautiful Pool Suites enjoy an extended terrace with a private plunge pool creating a romantic and intimate setting.  The Penthouse is the most luxurious suite with a spacious balcony and a generous lounge leading to a fabulous sundeck with a swimming pool and small kitchen. This heavenly suite can connect with a neighbouring Deluxe Suite to create a large, private space for friends and family. 

The hotel is part of the Relais & Châteaux association and there's no wonder as to why! The Rhodes Restaurant has become an institution and attracts diners from across the island to savour Gary Rhodes’ cuisine, blending local ingredients with British flavours. The temperature-controlled wine room adjacent to the Rhodes Restaurant stocks an excellent range of fine wines.

For light al-fresco dining, The Beach Club restaurant is the place to go... including a 'from your beach lounger' menu so you don't have to move a muscle! A delicious a la carte breakfast is served in the privacy of your balcony or terrace, and in keeping with English tradition, afternoon tea is served in the main bar every day.

Izakaya offers small sharing plates certain nights of the week, and complimentary evening canapés are delivered to your suite every evening.

The Spa at Calabash Hotel offers a range of holistic treatments using only locally sourced natural products. There are three open-sided treatment rooms and a yoga pavilion creating a feeling of calm from the moment you step in.  Other hotel facilities include a small boutique, freshwater swimming pool, floodlit tennis court and a range of non-motorised water sports. Scuba diving and snorkelling are available at the hotel’s ScubaTech PADI certified dive school.
