Colony Club, Barbados
A sophisticated, elegant retreat located in a stunning position on the west coast of the island, Colony Club is just a 40 minute drive from the international airport. Set within 7 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and alongside a spectacular stretch of white sand beach, the hotel is perfectly situated close to Holetown with its local shops, bars and restaurants. With a variety of different room types and plenty of activities, Colony Club is a great option for couples and families alike.
There are 96 rooms and suites, all of which are attractively furnished and feature a balcony or terrace overlooking the tropical gardens or the Caribbean Sea. The Pool / Garden View Rooms interconnect making them the perfect option for families with older children or those looking for a bit more space, whereas families with smaller children will be comfortably accommodated in a Junior Suite. For couples the Ocean View Rooms or Suites are ideal, with plenty of space and outstanding views!
Dining at Colony Club is a delight. The Laguna Restaurant overlooks the stunning gardens and serves a variety of dishes including a plethora of fresh seafood – we love the Grilled Mahi-Mahi! For something a little different, head to The Sunset Bar & Deck where themed nights provide fun for everyone…. Choose from the Seaside Grill & International Buffet on Tuesday, Bajan Fish Grill on Wednesday or the famous Lobster and Jazz Dinner on Thursday! For more of a fine dining experience, Daphne’s Restaurant is the answer. It is not located at Colony Club, but next door to sister property Tamarind just a short drive or complimentary water taxi ride away.
The resort offers activities aplenty along with 4 lagoon style swimming pools, 2 floodlit tennis courts, a relaxing Spa and a well-equipped fitness centre, where guests can enjoy both yoga and pilates. With a range of complimentary watersports available at the Aqua School, you can enjoy snorkelling, sailing, waterskiing, kayaking, boogie boarding and more, directly from the beach!
