The eye-catching Craggy Range Restaurant, with its circular form and impressive interior, is one of the most sought after dining venues in the region. Reservations are essential and the menu draws from local produce, ranging from seafood and lamb to plant-based cuisine and produce from the kitchen garden. The slow cooked paūa (a kiwi delicacy) with champagne sauce, fennel and crumbed mussels is a taste sensation, especially when paired with an exquisite local grape.

The spectacular coastline is a short drive away, and a visit to the gannet colony at Cape Kidnappers is fascinating.
