Spicers Vineyard, Hunter Valley

The twelve guest rooms offer views of the estate's eight-acre vineyard and natural bushland, framed by the mountain backdrop of Polkobin. Each room features a cozy wood-burning fireplace and an ensuite spa bath. Ground-floor King Rooms have French doors opening onto a shared veranda, while first-floor Spa Suites boast a separate living area and idyllic views from the balcony.

The renowned Botanica restaurant serves up gourmet dishes, focusing on seasonality and freshness, using locally sourced ingredients, including produce from its kitchen garden. Choose from dishes such as crispy ocean trout, herb-roasted lamb rump, and braised veal cheek, all complemented by an extensive wine list supplied by the estate’s vineyard.

Wine has been grown in this vineyard since the 1820s, so it’s not surprising that the estate’s best attraction is its wine tours. The vineyard staff love to share their knowledge of the entire wine-making process, from production to tasting. Beyond wine, the Hunter Valley offers world-class golf courses, ballooning, biking, helicopter tours, horse riding, cycling, and even skydiving.
