Ideally located in the heart of the Great Ocean Road and close to Johanna Beach, Boomerangs is perfectly positioned to visit the spectacular 12 Apostles, explore sections of the Great Ocean Coastal Path, or discover the waterfalls and rainforests of the nearby Otways Ranges.
Boomerangs on Johanna
This quaint retreat features three boomerang-shaped cottages nestled among landscaped gardens with lovely views of the surrounding native bush. Each self-contained cottage includes a full kitchen, a BBQ on the outdoor deck, spacious living areas, and cosy bedrooms—an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the 280-degree views of the Johanna Valley. You might even spot a few kangaroos on the lawn or a koala or two in the trees!
Owners Mark and Roz are available to offer local advice on hidden, off-the-beaten-track places to visit, many within walking distance of the lodge. They provide a free shuttle service to various points along the Great Ocean Walk and also offer private yoga sessions or in-house massage as Roz is a qualified masseuse. Your cottage comes with breakfast provisions and wood in the winter months.
