- Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh, Vietnam
Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh, Vietnam
Ninh Binh is home to the scenic landscape complex called Trang An, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2014. Trang An complex is best known for its spectacular landscape of limestone karst peals and include Hoa Lu, the capital of Vietnam in the tenth century, as well as temples, pagodas, paddy-fields, villages and sacred sites. It is often referred to as an inland Halong Bay as the scenery is very similar, however her you’ll not have the crowds and can incorporate an element of local life and culture into your experience.
Emeralda is a luxury retreat located in the heart of the province and the perfect base from which to explore the region. We would recommend spending at least 2 nights here to fully explore this stunning region with day one visiting an amazing series of caves and temples called Dich Long Cave and Pagoda, you’ll then row, by traditional sampan, through the picturesque scenery of Van Long. Your second day (if you have time) can be spent cycling through sleepy villages, past rice fields – all surrounded by majestic limestone mountains – it is simply stunning. Day 3 visit Cuc Phuong National Park, one of the few tropical rainforests left in the country, before heading back to Hanoi. Click here for more details of this suggested itinerary. You could even consider a night in Halong Bay and drive directly to Ninh Binh for another 2 nights at Emaralda.
Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh
The resort itself is located in the valley surrounded by beautiful scenery, spread out in clusters of rooms with 172 in total, located around a large pool, mini golf course, luxury spa and choice of restaurants. This is a resort with plenty of facilities including a kids club so also great for families.
The rooms are tastefully decorated with Vietnamese touches, natural wooden furniture and mountain views. Upgrade to a Deluxe Room for extra space and private terraces overlooking the tropical gardens or the Duplex Rooms for families with two separate bedrooms.
Organics Restaurant offers healthy Asian and Western specialities, whilst Sen Restaurant offers authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Enjoy a glass or two at the wine bar or around the pool from the pool bar. The resort has an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a gym, fitness club and luxury spa.
