A brilliant Thailand itinerary for families with older children looking for a real mix of experiences, from buzzing city life and rainforest adventures to dramatic beaches and laidback island living. This is a combination one of our team travelled recently with their own extended family and it worked incredibly well, balancing activity and adventure with plenty of downtime in some of southern Thailand’s most beautiful settings.

We particularly love the contrast between the spectacular scenery and vibrant atmosphere of Railay Bay and the peaceful jungle-meets-beach feel of Koh Lanta. Rayavadee and Pimalai each have such a different personality yet complement each other perfectly, with easy transfers and a lovely natural flow to the journey.
