El Nido Miniloc

The resort itself comprises 50 rooms, where wooden floors and walls covered in bamboo slats help create a contemporary Filipino style. All rooms also have a private verandah. The simple Garden Cottages are surrounded by tropical landscape, while the Beachside Rooms are the same in design but located just behind the beach in clusters of four. The two-storey Seaview Rooms offer more space, with a double and two single beds, located right on the waterfront. Built on stilts and beside Miniloc’s dramatic limestone cliffs are the Water Cottages, while the spacious Deluxe Seaview Rooms offer the most space with magnificent views of the bay.

The one main Clubhouse restaurant serves a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a wide choice of international and local Filipino speciality dishes. For drinks around the pool and feet-in-the-sand cocktails, the Beach Bar is the perfect place to chill out. Private picnics and lunches at the resort’s Entalula Beach Club can also be arranged within your schedule of activities.

Your stay includes all meals and activities and on arrival one of El Nido Resort’s team will help create an itinerary to suit your interests. If you are a diver, the resort has its own dive centre and will take you to some of the Philippines’ most impressive reefs. Snorkelling is also amazing in this region and one of the best snorkelling spots is right in front of Miniloc. A day tour will often include kayaking in Big and Small Lagoon, followed by a lunch in one of the many beach clubs set up on pristine sands around the bay. Here you can relax on a sun bed or grab your paddle again and kayak the surrounding waters. Back at the resort, there is plenty to keep you busy. You can explore the island on foot, following a trail through the island’s forest to a spectacular point with picturesque views over Bacuit Bay. En route you’ll most likely see hornbills, mischievous macaques and laid-back lizards! In front of the resort, you can help yourself to a canoe or paddle board, or snorkel in the waters around the bay. The swimming pool is the central hub of the resort and great for a relaxing dip at the end of a busy day exploring the surrounding bay. In the main building there is billiards, table tennis tables and many traditional Filipino games.
