14 day journey - Borneo - Langkawi
Langkawi & Borneo - Jungle Chic at its best!
Fly to Kota Kinabalu and hop over to Gaya Island Resort for four nights, then journey into Danum Valley’s rainforest for a three-night jungle safari, staying at Borneo Rainforest Lodge, where you can walk in the treetops and go on a trek to see wildlife (birds, monkeys, orang-utans and even pygmy elephants). End your trip with seven nights on Langkawi Island at The Datai, which has villas set in the rainforest and is home to one of Malaysia’s best beaches.

Why Turquoise loves...
Malaysia
“Malaysia is like all of Asia in one small package, thanks to its intoxicating melting pot of Indian, Malay and Chinese influences. It’s a land that really does have everything, from postcard-perfect beaches on Langkawi to the futuristic skyline of Kuala Lumpur, where the Petronas Towers look like two rockets about to launch into space. But the wilds of Borneo is somewhere that will steal your heart, with orangutans, pygmy elephants and many more amazing creatures roaming its rainforests.” Rhodri Andrews, editorial executive
