Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh
Combining a distinguished history with a refined style, Raffles is Phnom Penh’s most luxurious hotel. Established in 1929, the hotel quickly became a magnet for politicians, journalists and travellers. Taken over by the Raffles group in 1997, the hotel was fully refurbished and became the award-winning and luxury destination it is today.
Raffles Hotel Le Royal
The 170 rooms are decorated in a colonial style – elegant furnishings complement antiques and Cambodian objets d’art. Rooms are split across three floors in low rise buildings which are spread around courtyards and the swimming pool. Rooms include personal valet service as well as every expected amenity.
There are no less than five restaurants and bars, including the iconic Elephant Bar, where you can enjoy the Million Dollar Cocktail, made famous in Somerset Maugham’s ‘The Letter’.
The large swimming pool is a great place to relax after touring the lively city. For a real treat the signature Spa is a must!
