At the World Luxury Hotel Awards Gala dinner in Thailand earlier this month, Rasananda Phangan Island won the award for “Luxury Beach Resort”.  This award celebrates the best luxury hotels worldwide, choosing those which are not only good but exceptional, and as such is quite a wonderful accomplishment for the resort.  At Turquoise, we send many of our honeymooning couples to Rasananda Phangan Island and we’re thrilled to see the resort gain the recognition it deserves.

Rasananda has won the award for its “uniqueness in design and professional delivery of exceptional guest experiences”.  Receiving this award means that Rasananda’s mission of creating a luxurious, idyllic and romantic resort for couples has succeeded and as such is a wonderful feather in their cap.

The resort itself is a paradise located on Koh Phangan in Southern Thailand.  The resort consists of 44 villas and suites, each unique and with a private plunge pool, situated on the beach facing a beautiful lagoon.  Its surroundings are perfect for romance; the resort sits at the bottom of a lush rainforest, right where the soft white sand starts.  Koh Phangan has always been a great island to explore, but Rasananda simply adds that extra touch of luxury for the amazing honeymoon.

If you’re interested in discussing Rasananda as a possibility for your honeymoon, enquire with us today.  Alternatively, feel free to have a look at Rasananda on our website for more detail.
