Asia & Australia Product Manager

My passion for travel stems from visiting and subsequently living in Australia and New Zealand where I totally fell in love with exploring the world, and on my return decided that I wanted to help others create wonderful holidays to the places I had visited. Working at Turquoise as the Asia & Australia Product Manager couldn’t be more perfect as I spend my days arranging once in a lifetime trips for others heading to my favourite places. My main responsibilities lie in seeking out the best hotels and most intimate experiences to ensure our guests see the best a country has to offer, in the most beautiful of settings, away from the crowds.  I have been lucky enough to travel widely through South-East Asia, Australia and New Zealand and people often ask where my favourite places are, but it’s an impossible question as I am ever discovering new and exciting places on my travels. Amongst my most memorable have to be the magnificent temples of Angkor Wat which really are a must for every bucket list. I also recently discovered northern Laos and in particular Luang Prabang, the country’s tiny ancient capital, which is very low key on the tourist map but utterly charming. Think French colonial buildings, beautifully maintained mixed with traditional temples, dotted with small cafes and local markets all surrounded by beautiful verdant mountains – a great combination with any of Asia’s glorious beaches. Sydney has to be my favourite city, Queenstown top of the scenic list, Borneo for abundant wildlife and Thailand for its sheer vibrancy and diversity… I could go on forever!

Even after more than 20 visits, the sight of the Opera House and […]
