Having grown up all over the world and having parents with a severe case of the ‘Travel Bug’, wanderlust was instilled in me from a very young age. After I finished sixth form, I embarked on my very conventional, short and sweet gap year that lasted…on and off…6 years. I covered (and fell in love with) America, South East Asia, The South Pacific, The UAE and Australia. The ‘Travel Bug’ is definitely hereditary! I had an epiphany in a hammock – somewhere probably very hot – that I wanted to embrace my love of travel and turn it into a profession. It turned out that Turquoise was on my doorstep, in my hometown of Beaconsfield, the whole time – and I had no idea! Some may call it fate.
