After graduating from university, I worked in the incentive travel industry and majorly caught the travel bug. After deciding corporate travel wasn’t for me, I took a year out to explore all corners of Southeast Asia and Australia, discovering some amazing cultures and unforgettable scenery along the way. A highlight was The Ha Giang Loop, a four-day motorbike tour around jaw-dropping canyons and majestic mountains in Northen Vietnam – it really was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! I am a total foodie, so another highlight was indulging in so many different cuisines along the way, a particular favourite dish being a Khao Soi cooked by a local in Chiang Mai. I also developed a love for the way in which travel can provide things that money simply cannot buy, such as forming incredible connections with others and creating everlasting memories.

My travels further fuelled my passion for travel (and food!), and I knew that I needed to work in a role that would allow me to continue to discover new places and share my knowledge of the world with others. Upon my return, was lucky enough to discover Turquoise. When I arrived at the office for my interview, I instantly knew it was where I was meant to be. I was warmly welcomed into the Turquoise family by a team of likeminded travel-lovers who all had incredible stories and a wealth of knowledge to share with me, and I have loved every minute working here since. Time is precious, and it’s so important to me to work in a role that helps people to create everlasting memories whilst experiencing the very best this world has to offer. I really can’t imagine working anywhere else, Turquoise is now in my DNA!
