    Arrive at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport and take a short transfer to the outskirts of the city, where you will enjoy a night at Residence by Uga, a boutique bolthole full of history and charm.

    Days 2 to 5 - Ceylon Tea Trails

    On the morning of day 2, you will fly by light aircraft from Colombo's domestic terminal to the Castlereagh reservoir, in the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country. Here you will enjoy three nights in one of the stunning plantation style bungalows of Ceylon Tea Trails. An institution in it's own right, boasting one of the most spectacluar locations in the world, let alone Sri Lanka, it is no surprise that Tea Trails wins awards for its service and guest expereince year after year.

    Your itienrary whilst in the tea country can be as busy or quiet as you like. For those who love to get out and about, enjoy neverending hiking and biking trails as well as a multitude of other activities on offer. Spend one morning visiting a nearby tea factory and enjoy a guided tour with a resident planter. Hear all about how the pickers choose the best leaves and the secrets behind the process which produces the best cup of tea! You will be waited on hand and foot, so sit back on your private terrace and enjoy a gin & tonic or three, wathcing the sun set over the jungle clad hills beyond.

    Days 7 to 11 - Cape Weligama

    After a busy week exploring the undulating hills of the tea country and the exhilaration of game spotting on safari, it's time to head to the beach for some much deserved rest and relaxation. The drive from Yala along the south west coast to Weligama will take the morning, with stops along the way for you to soak up the stunning sandy coastline. The journey is an experience in itself and the coastal road is a gorgeous drive. Arrive at Cape Weligama and become immediately absorbed in the peace and tranquility of its hilltop location and spacious grounds. The views are breathtaking, overlooking a raw and rugged section of the south west coastline. One of our favourite things about Cape Weligama is its location and how much there is to see and do straight from your door step. Go whale watching, diving, surfing or snorkelling. Visit cinnamon plantations, inland lakes, hidden beaches, the ancient city of Galle and finally, don't miss a night out with the locals at one of the nearby eateries or beach bars.
