Ceylon Tea Trails offers an exceptionally atmospheric take on luxury accommodation, set high in Sri Lanka’s spectacular Hill Country at an altitude of 1,250 metres and close to a working tea factory. From this elevated position, endless vistas unfold across misty-green tea plantations, rolling hills and the serene waters of the Castlereagh Reservoir, with mountains rising dramatically in the distance. The scenery is captivating at any time of day, from the soft morning mist to the golden light that settles over the plantations in the late afternoon.

The property comprises five individually styled bungalows, each containing just five or six rooms and suites. Each has its own distinctive character, but all capture the gracious atmosphere of a bygone era, combining traditional plantation-house charm with understated luxury and wonderfully attentive service.
