Tikehau Pearl Beach Resort

Nestled on a pink sand beach fringed by a wild coconut grove, Tikehau Pearl Beach Resort is less than an hour’s flight from Papeete followed by a 20 minute boat ride from Tikehau’s airport. This intimate hideaway blends style and elegance with charming simplicity to create sophisticated island chic. Gloriously remote, this is a haven for those wanting to escape and unwind.

SLEEP

Tikehau Pearl Beach offers just 37 bungalows in total – located either on the beach or over the lagoon – all designed with true Polynesian grace. The 12 beach bungalows, which face the lagoon and feature charming outdoor bathrooms, are cooled by ceiling fans and airconditioning. The 24 overwater bungalows and suites (which are cooled with a ceiling fan) all feature a glass bottom coffee table, enabling you to view the lagoon’s underwater life without getting wet! The premium overwater bungalows benefit from direct access to the translucent lagoon below and also have a CD player. Most romantic of all, the overwater suites not only offer direct access to the lagoon, but also boast a spacious 93 square metres in which to relax, plus air-conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. The Beach Villa with its own private pool is the ideal sanctuary for couples seeking privacy and intimacy or families to share relaxed quality time together while enjoying refined luxury and attentive service.

EAT

Overlooking the lagoon, Poreho Restauramt is an idyllic spot to savour breakfast on the beach, indulge in lazy lunches and delight in Polynesian flavours during dinner under the stars. Head to Tianoa Bar for a pre-dinner cocktail or a digestif. For an evening to remember, opt for a starlit dinner in the privacy of your bungalow where you'll feel like you’re the only people on earth!

PAMPER & PLAY

To discover the Tuamotu Islands is to discover Polynesia’s hidden paradise. These rings of lowlying coral atolls are a world apart from the other ‘high’ islands. Here you will discover the pristine white sandy beaches and clear lagoon waters of your ‘Robinson Crusoe’ dreams. Stroll through shallow waters and explore untouched neighbouring islands, hop on a boat and visit Tuherahera village, join the chef for cooking lessons, head to Manea Spa for a blissful treatment or relish the simple pleasure of doing nothing at all!
