InterContinental Resort, Tahiti

This delightful oasis on Tahiti’s west coast nestles in 32 acres of tropical gardens on the edge of the island's turquoise lagoon. The resort directly faces the beautiful island of Moorea, with awe-inspiring views as the sun sets over Moorea’s spectacular volcanic peaks. Conveniently located near the airport, InterContinental Resort Tahiti is an ideal place to start or end your Tahitian adventure.

SLEEP

Rooms overlook the pristine gardens or lagoon, and some are scattered over the water. Accommodation blends elegance and Polynesian design using a bamboo finish. Choose between the garden and lagoon view rooms or the more spacious and stylish panoramic rooms with views across the pools to the magnificent blue shades of the lagoon beyond. All rooms have a private balcony. Those in search of a more traditional South Seas experience may prefer the overwater bungalows, locally called ‘Fare’, which are built on stilts over the lagoon.

EAT

Tiare Restaurant offers all day dining with lagoon views and fabulous, authentic Polynesian dinner and dance shows twice a week, whilst Le Lotus serves gourmet delights in its atmospheric overwater setting for both lunch and dinner. During the day, cool off with a refreshing cocktail or smoothie at the Lotus swim-up bar, and as night falls, the Tiki Bar comes alive with entertainment for guests and locals alike.

PLAY & PAMPER

The resort has two large pools, and you can also enjoy safe swimming in the warm waters of the lagoon. If time permits, we highly recommend joining a 4WD safari to discover Tahiti’s beautiful valleys, lush mountains and impressive waterfalls. Relaxation at the InterContinental is assured with a visit to the Deep Nature Spa by Algotherm, and for a sunset to remember, hop on a jet ski and head to a remote sandbank. Swim in the warm water and spot passing dolphins before sipping chilled Champagne as the sun sets over distant Moorea. Island living doesn’t get better than this!
