Sleep

The two glorious suites in the main house have super-king beds (which can be split into singles), large bathrooms, plenty of natural light and wonderfully stylish yet homely decor. The luxurious two bedroom, two bathroom cottage sits 40 metres from the house in the wonderful gardens, and is the perfect choice for those looking for added privacy, and ideal for families. The views from the guest suites and the cottage are wonderful. All guests are invited to enjoy the sumptuous and relaxing sitting room, the den, library, artists' studio and the acclaimed gardens.

Eat

A delicious breakfast is included in your stay, brimming with fresh local organic produce. Dinner at Edenhouse is a mouthwatering occasion and includes fine local wines and pre-dinner canapes and drinks. Pristine lawns and pretty courtyards make al fresco dining a daily treat in warmer months and outdoor fireplaces provide warmth and atmosphere on cooler days. The formal dining room provides the perfect setting to enjoy a meal with fellow guests.

Play & Pamper

Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Edenhouse sits in almost 50 acres of private land and the stunning gardens (all 8 fabulous acres) are a delight and a highlight. From manicured perfection to wild blooms, the gardens offer a slice of New Zealand paradise at the hands of your creative and welcoming hosts, Peter & Bobbie.

Edenhouse is a great base to explore the Abel Tasman National Park. We recommend heading out on a private boat or joining a guided excursion. Watch seals playing in the water, kayak to a hidden cove, walk along beautiful golden beaches or hike along the world famous track. Edenhouse has its own helipad, so you might like to arrive or depart in style - or fly high over Abel Tasman National Park and find a remote spot for a picnic to remember! Wine tours, horse-trekking and fly-fishing are all on this luxury retreat's impressive doorstep, and Nelson is a great place to discover arts and crafts... a visit to the iconic World of Wearable Art & Classic Car Museum is a remarkable experience.  After a busy day exploring this magnificent region, relax with a wonderful massage in the privacy of your suite or cottage.
