Inspired by the early-settler boatsheds which scatter the shores up and down New Zealand, this contemporary ‘boatshed designed’ boutique hotel is an idyllic sanctuary in the heart of beautiful Waiheke Island. Capturing the essence of New Zealand’s nautical heritage, the fun and stylish design is instantly inviting and relaxing. Just a 35 minute ferry ride across the Hauraki Gulf from downtown Auckland, Waiheke's laidback island lifestyle offers an eclectic mix of vineyards, fabulous beaches, artists' studios and great food and wine!

Choose between the three traditional Boatshed Suites which boast magnificent views over the bay; the unique three-storey Lighthouse Suite which enjoys pride of place with panoramic views (complete with telescope) from the top floor lounge and first floor bedroom; The Bridge Suite which sits above the heart of the main building with extra privacy and wonderful elevated views across the bay; two beautifully appointed Boatshed Bungalows with substantial space for relaxed beach living; the contemporary Watertower with a fabulous roof garden; and the wonderful Owner's Cottage with a private pool and fantastic kitchen and living space for those who prefer a little more independence.
