Best time to visit Mauritius

Mauritius is a year-round destination, with warm summers from November to April and cooler, drier winters from May to October. Summer temperatures often rise above 30°C, with short tropical showers and occasional cyclones in January and February, although these months also bring excellent diving visibility.

Winter is drier and pleasantly warm, with daytime temperatures in the low to mid-20s, though evenings can feel cooler. July and August are popular with families, while September and October are particularly appealing, combining dry weather with rising temperatures ahead of summer. The best time to visit ultimately depends on whether you prefer hotter, more tropical conditions or cooler, drier days.
