Mamanuca Islands

The Mamanuca Island group runs to the north-west of Viti Levu and consists of a string of sun-drenched islands fringed with white sand beaches and turquoise lagoons of your Robinson Crusoe dreams. Easily accessible from Fiji's gateway, Nadi, the Mamanucas offer an idyllic retreat for everyone. With frequent and easy connections by seaplane, speedboat and helicopter from the mainland, the Mamanuca Islands are a hub of activity with a plethora of experiences both in and on the turquoise water. Seaplanes & Helicopters

Getting to your island paradise is all part of the fun in the Mamanucas! There are regular water taxis and a catamaran service cruising through the islands, but to really arrive in style, travel by seaplane or helicopter! Monuriki Island Feel like a true ‘Cast Away’ with a visit to Monuriki, the island that was home to Tom Hanks and ‘Wilson’ in the survival blockbuster. Many resorts offer a boat trip to this famous island with time to snorkel and explore. 

Cloud 9

This two-level floating platform sits above RoRo Reef in the heart of the Mamanucas, surrounded by shimmering turquoise water and offering a fun and unique way to spend an afternoon… with a DJ on the decks, delicious cocktails, wood-fired pizzas and endless ocean views! Boat transfers can be arranged from most resorts in the Mamanucas. 

Surfing
