Hugging the lush, verdant ridge, and blending in with the surroundings in a camouflaged line, the 37 rooms and suites promise breath-taking views that are impossibly picturesque, each with their own private heated pool. The missing fourth wall concept is found in almost every room and suite, bringing a natural flow between indoors and out. Four-poster beds with flowing white nets bring a sense of romance and peacefulness, whilst the hillside breeze - natural air-conditioning - keeps the heat at bay and makes for a restful night. If the idea of a missing fourth wall is a little too close to nature (although we adore these rooms!) Ladera also has two air-conditioned rooms.

Panoramic views from the hotel’s restaurant, Dasheene, aren’t to be missed. Delivering authentic Saint Lucian cuisine by Executive Chef Nigel Mitchel, dishes include roast conch, jerk poulet sausage and plantain gratin with coconut rum sauce! Ingredients feature the bounty of the island and are locally sourced from neighbouring farmers who grow their produce mainly for Ladera.

You’ll want for nothing at Ladera with a broad selection of activities on offer. From nature trails, yoga and morning meditations to mixology classes and cooking demonstrations. And their wine cellar is perfect for private dinners or a spot of wine tasting. Alternatively, relax in the comfort of your private pool, rejuvenate in spa, or take the complimentary shuttle down to the beach for some sea therapy.
