Mandala Ou, Nong Khiaw
On the banks of the Nam Ou River, three hours north of Luang Prabang, the spectacular views of the surrounding limestone karst mountains from Mandala Ou Resort are breathtaking. Close to the quaint town of Nong Khiaw, this is a place to recharge and immerse yourselves in this sublime corner of northern Laos. Guests can explore local caves by foot or borrow bicycles from the resort. A highlight is kayaking on the Nam Ou, which joins the Mekong, and is a memorable way of journeying back to Luang Prabang through this unadulterated landscape.
Mandala Ou, Nong Khiaw
