Lost Lindenberg
If the idea of a truly remote haven, surrounded by lush jungle and facing a long stretch of black lava-sand beach, sounds appealing, then this is the place for you. Unique in design, this gem of a retreat is playful in its architecture and utterly unconventional in style. As you leave the main road winding up the west coast of Bali (LOST is about a four-hour drive from the airport), you're greeted by a four-meter-tall neon-lit security wall. ‘Day-glo’ slogans promising dancing, entertainment and beer beam out of the jungle. Upon stepping through a hidden door, you enter the restful and completely off-grid, laid-back, jungle vibe of Lost. The whole concept is to leave the busy world behind and feel truly LOST."
Lost Lindenberg
Connected by elevated walkways, four treehouse-like towers house eight wooden minimalist rooms, each situated on different levels to maximize views of the surrounding jungle and coconut palms. Each air-conditioned room features a comfortable lounge area and a spacious timber bathroom with slatted shutters, effectively opening them to the lush forest.
The restaurant offers communal-style, plant-based home-style dishes sourced locally. A charming bar/coffee shop overlooks the swimming pool, along with a daily sunset bonfire dinner. Numerous indoor lounges and outdoor spaces, whether by the jungle pool or the beach, invite guests to absorb the laid-back island vibe of LOST. Additionally, the jungle spa provides a variety of Balinese healing therapies and yoga.
Guests can explore the local village of Pekutatan and for surf enthusiasts, Bali’s longest surf break is located just 10 minutes away at Medewi Beach. Explore the local area by electric bike or LOST can create an island tour by VW bus, from secret river tours or diving and snorkelling trips.
