In the heart of beautiful Ubud, the Uma Ubud is one of Bali’s most stylish and intimate hotels. A member of the award-winning COMO Hotels and Resorts collection which also includes renowned properties such as the Metropolitan in Bangkok and Cocoa Island in the Maldives, Uma Ubud truly reflects COMO’s philosophy for creating ‘quiet comfort in culturally rich locations’. Decorated in a bright, modern yet inimitably Balinese style, the rooms are white, light and chic, with white voile draped over four poster beds. Terrace rooms boast large French doors which open onto a private terrace overlooking the gardens whilst the slightly larger Garden rooms feature a contemporary semi-outdoor black and white bathroom with free-standing bathtub and separate shower. The spacious Uma Suite has a comfortable living area in addition to the bedroom and the three gorgeous Uma Pool Suites each boast their own private plunge pool with views of the jungle and valley. For the ultimate indulgence, the COMO Suite has a separate bedroom, sitting area and bathroom as well as a treatment area, a spacious sundeck and an infinity pool overlooking the surrounding valley and river. The spa experience is a real highlight here – and the signature COMO Shambhala Retreat offers a range of relaxing and invigorating Asian-inspired treatments. You can also enjoy yoga, cycling and hiking. The cuisine is light, fresh and healthy with dishes showcasing Bali’s rich gourmet heritage with a modern contemporary twist – and notably, the COMO Shambhala menu promotes wellbeing through the use of raw, organic foods.
