Tailor Made Holidays in May

If you are looking to holiday in May you are spoilt for choice, for the world is your oyster as far as weather is concerned.  Prices fall in the Caribbean as soon as the Easter holidays are over yet the weather suits us British sun lovers down to the ground – hot, sunny and not too humid.  Koh Samui and Borneo are both worth considering in Asia.  For something a little different, consider our Borneo Jungle, Beach Adventure, or just chill on the beach at beautiful Tanjong Jara on Malaysia’s east coast, where you can expect dry sunny days and calm waters from May until October.

A holiday in May is an excellent time to go on safari in Botswana – dry, but not too hot – and the Mozambique coastline is just coming into the dry season, which will last right through until October. Divers and snorkelers will relish a holiday in the Maldives and the Seychelles this month and although you may experiences short afternoon showers in The Maldives, they are unlikely to affect your holiday. Don’t forget that the May half term will attract lots of families, so if you don't have a family we can help you steer clear of child-friendly destinations and resorts over the last week of May and into the first few days of June, when prices rise and availability becomes much tighter.

  • Tanjong Jara Resort

Peace, solitude and oodles of charm sum up the beautiful Tanjong Jara Resort, located on the unspoilt East Coast of the Malay Peninsula. For us it encapsulates all you would anticipate a beautiful Malay resort to be. Think of it as a natural sanctuary designed around the intricate grandeur and elegance of the long-ago palaces, where the staff, chosen from local villages, display a genuine warmth and that irrepressible and uncontrived gentle Asian charm.
