Tailor Made Holidays in June

The east coast of Sri Lanka has only recently been discovered as a holiday destination, and when we found Jungle Beach Resort we couldn’t believe our luck – and nor will you.  We highly recommend a holiday in June here after exploring the Cultural Triangle of Ulagalla and Kandy will leave you spellbound.  Travel from March to October for the best weather.

June is officially low season in the Caribbean but the chances are the weather will still be gorgeous, so now is a great time to snaffle a bargain at one of the most exclusive resorts before the long summer holidays begins. The Indonesian island of Lombok enjoys dry and sunny weather but slightly cooler temperatures from June to August bring relief from the tropical sun, with the added advantage of being just that little bit quieter than neighbouring Bali.  We love the family-run beachfront resorts such as the charming Quinci Villas.  This month also brings with it the start of the high season in The South Pacific – Turquoise is the UK’s foremost expert for holidays on the Islands of Tahiti - so it is a good idea to go now before the school holidays begin.
