Tailor Made Holidays in July

We certainly recommend Northern Australia in July as it is perfect from May through to October. Start with a stay at Lizard Island, which is indisputably one of the finest island resorts in Australia. From here, head north to the Daintree Rainforest, into the Red Centre or across to the Kimberley to experience Australia’s extraordinary Outback and the beautiful ocean beaches of Western Australia.

July is also the start of the season in Kenya, one of our favourite African countries perfect for a safari beach holiday.  Ol Seki Hemingsways Mara Camp and Ol Donyo Lodge are two of our top rated safari camps in this entire bewitching country, set in Kenya’s breathtaking wilderness, surrounded by wildlife – both are like stepping into a scene from Out of Africa.  Finish your holiday with a week in a resort on the Kenyan Coast or take an easy flight to the spice island of ZanzibarThe CooksFiji and the Islands of Tahiti enjoy their best climate form May to September.

Where to go on holiday in July

Hotels & Resorts for July holidays

  • Soneva Fushi

The original Robinson Crusoe retreat in the Baa Atoll (superb for diving and snorkelling) and whilst only a 25 minute seaplane flight from Malé, Soneva Fushi’s stunningly remote  location is a major factor in its appeal. Speak to the ‘Maldivian regulars’ and without question they will tell you that this is a legendary resort which harnesses the very essence of a castaway idyll.

  • Cap Maison

Cap Maison is a beautiful, sophisticated retreat that offers a fabulous home from home welcome and a truly personal service. Perched on a cliff top high above Smugglers Cove Beach you can expect sweeping views over the sparkling Caribbean Sea.

  • Bequia Beach Hotel

Regarded by many as the ‘jewel’ in the Grenadines, the relatively unknown island of Bequia retains an old-world charm and a style of its own. Bequia Beach Hotel lays claim to the best spot on the island, on the picturesque beach of Friendship Bay.

  • The Samaya Seminyak

Occasionally we find a resort that quite simply ticks all the boxes and Samaya Seminyak does just that – the location is spot on, right on the beach and close to restaurants and bars and the pool villas are stylish and spacious.

  • Lizard Island

Australia’s northernmost island resort, located right on the Great Barrier Reef (240kms north of Cairns and 27kms off the coast of North Queensland), offers a very special island experience with 24 soft powdery white sand beaches and secluded stylish accommodation decorated in elegant sand and sea tones.
