Tailor Made Holidays in February

The Caribbean is delightful during February and a holiday at this time of year with cooling winds keeping the hot sun at bay and humidity to a minimum. A perennial Turquoise favourite, Ti Kaye on St Lucia encourages adults-only to its tranquil shores between the Pitons and the jungle, flanked by beaches as white as powder, so you don’t need to worry about the half term melée that hits many popular resorts later in February.  For sheer romance, try the island of Petit St Vincent; for exclusivity head to Antigua’s Hermitage Bay; for bragging rights you simply can’t beat Golden Eye made famous by Ian Fleming, or Round Hill – if it’s good enough for the likes of JFK and Jackie O, it is good enough for you - both on the impossibly laid back island of Jamaica

The Indian Ocean is hard to beat at any time of the year but some say its star shines brightest from January to April.  The Six Senses Laamu and Soneva Fushi are the quintessential Robinson Crusoe islands, one deep in the Maldivian archipelago, and the other just a short hop from Malé yet both living up to the classic image of a castaway idyll.
