Tailor Made Holidays in April

April is the start of the high season in Borneo, with fine weather lasting right through until October. The Gaya Island Resort is just 15 minutes by speedboat from Kota Kinabalu and it is surely the icing on the cake after a jungle safari through Borneo’s tropical and wild interior.

April to June is the shoulder season in Bali and this is a delightful time to holiday – it is still lovely and dry but the tourists have yet to arrive. Why not twin a beach resort in fashionable Seminyak with a hideaway in the rural west coast or the remote north eastern coast, or hop over to the peaceful and less visited island of Lombok.  Intrepid explorers will love our latest discovery in the Indonesian archipelago. Rustic yet luxurious, the all-inclusive resort of Nihiwatu is arguably the jewel in Indonesia’s crown, just an hour’s flight away from Bali on the all but forgotten isle of Sumba, where life hasn’t changed for centuries and local culture and nature are king.  If you are a sun worshipper on holiday head to Mauritius in April, before the next few months bring slightly cooler weather.
