Sleep

There are just 14 individual cabins, each carefully designed to blend in with the jungle environment. Dotted between the jungle and only metres away from the sea your private cabin offers a glass front wall, his and hers basin, an oversized bath tub and all the mod-cons you would expect from a luxury hotel yet keeping the rustic-safari interior you would expect. Step outside to your sweeping deck and you will find your very own 5m plunge pool with views out to the sea, bush and jungle!

Play

Make sure you head out on the daily Safari style Game drives in to the Yala National Park, the largest and oldest of the six National Parks and sanctuaries in the vicinity. Your driver will take you on thrilling journeys through the scrub, grasslands and jungle. Expect to see sightings of Leopard, sloth bear, crocodiles, many species of birds, monkeys, deer and Elephants to name a few!

Game drives tend to take place during the coolest part of the day - mornings and late afternoon so to avoid the midday heat. During the day take advantage of your private pool or stay active in the 200m2 main swimming pool with its own poolside bar. Indulge in a Spa treatment or head out to explore the local villages, spot blue and humpback whales and Dolphins frolic in the sea near Mirissa or a day tour of Yala.

EAT

The restaurant, Basses takes its name from the nearby reefs and lighthouse off shore in the South of Sri Lanka. Seating is located on the decking in front of the beach, however if you are looking for a romantic dinner location you can dine anywhere on the grounds in may unique locations. Dine under the stars and on the beach for a truly magical evening.
