Holidays in Praslin

The second largest island, Praslin, is home to the wondrous Vallée de Mai (UNESCO World Heritage Site) – where the legendary coco-de-mer grows on ancient palm trees. The island has truly amazing beaches such as Anse Lazio, Anse Georgette and Anse Kerlan – where turtles can lay their eggs in tranquility.

Praslin provides an excellent base for excursions to neighbouring islands – the delightful La Digue is only a short boat journey away. La Digue is an island where time stands still, ox-carts ad bicycles are a superb way of getting around the island and friendly locals create an intimate atmosphere you will never forget.

Visit our Seychelles honeymoons page for full details on honeymoons to Praslin.

There is also a choice of local restaurants and bars to visit should you wish to head and out and try the local dishes.

Constance Lémuria

Tucked awayon the north-west corner of Praslin, Constance Lémuria casts her gaze over three incredible beaches, which are washed by the warm, iridescent waters of the Indian Ocean and sheltered from the prevailing winds.

Hotel L'Archipel

Idyllic, charming and boutique all apply to this beautiful property on the north-eastern coast of Praslin. If you are looking for an intimate, genuine Seychellois welcome, then Hotel L’Archipel is just perfect.

Raffles Praslin Seychelles

'Wow factor’ moments are ten-apenny when it comes to the Seychelles but Raffles Praslin is a particular favourite here at Turquoise. 86 Pool Villas stand sentinel over a panorama of vivid azure waters and gleaming white sand.

Guana Island is a rainforested bolthole that offers the ultimate in tropical seclusion. It has seven (yes, seven!) pristine beaches and acres of island wilderness that you can explore and enjoy almost all to yourself, bar a few inquisitive rock iguanas and migratory birds. Bliss!
