Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort, Saint Lucia

Thank you so much for organising everything so seamlessly. We had a wonderful time and the kids absolutely loved it!!! The room was great and in a good position not too far up and felt extremely private, spacious and had extensive wardrobe space etc. gorgeous views of the sea and sunset. Lovely that the butler offers to unpack for you too... big help with the kids’ stuff. The shuttle service works well - so even though you need it for pretty much everywhere, there are plenty and the drivers are very nice. In fact the kids loved the tuk tuk style ones and it was a fun part of the trip. The location of the kids club was good. They offer a service that you don't even need to leave the beach/pool as they can always contact you with the mobiles they give you on the first day and would walk the kids back to you. The staff were so kind and sweet….. The evening menu/concepts at the beach restaurant didn't vary too much, but the food that was served was always excellent. As the pool area was so large, it never felt crowded or too noisy at all. You could always get a bed on the beach and around the pool - both with a very relaxed feel.

Rayavadee, Thailand

The Rayavadee...... well, when we got there the welcomed us to 'Paradise' and yes, it certainly is! Honestly we didn't want to leave. And I've actually never seen Paul relaxed in over 11 years until he was chilling in the pool watching the sea. We did the Thai cooking class there - OMG, best food ever! And we got such a great box of recipes to take home. We also did the Sunset Sangria trip, which happened to be when a storm was bringing the first rain in 3 months! On our left we had a beautiful sunset, and on our right were huge black clouds with lightning! We loved it! We hopped over to Krabi for the night market which the hotel had sorted us a taxi for to ensure we got there and back to the longtail boat pier. Definitely recommend that to anyone. Great stuff to buy, but more importantly amazing street food, cocktails served in bamboo and delicious coconut milk ice cream. So, whilst we are so incredibly sad to be home, we genuinely feel like we had the holiday of a lifetime, and certainly a much better honeymoon than anyone we know!! Thank you again for being so damn good at your job! I wish everything was as easy with such good results as booking with you was. We are literally singing your praises to anyone who will listen, and definitely telling them all to book their next holiday with you! Hopefully one day we will be able to book another with you too!

Elephant Hills Tented Jungle Camps, Thailand

Elephant Hills....wow! Elephant hills was just perfect. All the activities were great fun, but of course the beautiful ellies were the highlight. Being woken by gibbons in the rainforest camp was something I'll never forget too - what a sound they make!

Pangkor Laut Resort, Malaysia

Please do not be put off by the long transfer; it's worth the journey to get to paradise. Firstly, the 3-4 hours transfers from KL doesn't feel that long at all. You are in a large private car with fully reclined seats, wifi, and drinks; so you have the option to have a full horizontal sleep if you fancy. When you get to the Pangkor Laut resort, it is pure luxury. The staff are friendly and polite. The spa facilities are excellent and very good value for money. Stunning views, interesting wildlife from time to time, and incredible service. Would recommended to anybody who wants a truly relaxing trip. We had just been trekking in Borneo for 4 days so this was ideal. Could not think of a better place to spend the final week of our honeymoon. Another great suggestion from Lisa.

Borneo Nature Lodge - Kinabatangan River, Malaysia

We visited visited the Borneo Nature Lodge for 4 days. We are animal lovers but this was the first time that we experienced true wildlife in their natural habitat. Luck had it that we managed to see a wide variety of animals including orangutans, gibbons, monkeys, elephants. The guides were incredible - local, knowledgeable and friendly. The food at the lodge was another highlight of the trip with a good selection and variety from local foods to international as well. The accommodation is clean, and well kept whilst still being eco-friendly. Don't forget to spend some time in the spa after all the trekking too. A great recommendation from Lisa.

Villa Samadhi, Malaysia

Villa Samadhi was such an incredible gem in KL. The food was phenomenal and the plunge pool was such a feature! They kindly allowed us to stay in our room until we needed to depart, which was so kind and helpful. We could not recommend the place higher and also the fantastic service we've received from turquoise throughout. Thank you so much for giving us such an incredible few weeks to relax and celebrate become Mr and Mrs.

Pangkor Laut Resort, Malaysia

We had a fantastic week in Pangkor laut. The sea Spa villa meant we had such a private setting and we even caught a glimpse of the sea turtle. Fisherman's Cove particularly gave us incredible and personal service and it was such a special island. The spa was like nothing I've experienced before and we also did the half day cruise together, which was wonderful.

The Datai, Malaysia

Thank you so much for organising such an amazing honeymoon for us both. We had the most amazing couple of weeks and everything went so smoothly, thanks to your great organisation. The Datai was so tranquil and the service was fantastic. We were so spoilt by the staff and it was the most beautiful setting to truly relax and unwind after an amazing wedding weekend. We were upgraded to a villa, which was just incredible.

Velassaru, Maldives

Firstly, thank you so much for organising this fantastic holiday for us to celebrate our 1st anniversary - it was SHEER PERFECTION from start to finish!!!!! It has been the best holiday we have EVER been on! From the moment we were picked up from the airport the staff we so polite and attentive, nothing was too much trouble! The boat ride and short and we were given cold towels and water on the boat just what we needed after a long when you're not feeling (or looking!) your best! (Even the smell of these cold towels given throughout the holiday is amazing!! Lol!) When we got there we were greeted and walked to the reception by the staff and again given a lovely drink and cold towel. Then we were taken to our room and given a tour of the deluxe bungalow and the man (Almas) was very polite and helpful and talked us through everything and about activities/spa/restaurants/bars etc. Then we got a call later from Almas to say they know it's our anniversary (thank you to you!) so they would like us to have a special dinner with a cake etc. They booked us an overwater pavilion at Sand for that weekend - which was so wonderful thank you. The bungalow was fantastic - it had everything we needed and was clean and luxurious. We booked the restaurants for the rest of the week as needed. Oh my goodness the food at Velassaru is SO FANTASTIC!!! Best seafood we have ever tasted! Our favourite restaurants were Sand and Teppanyaki! Amazing gigantic prawns and the wagyu beef were incredible! The other restaurants were also great too but these were our favourite! And wonderful service to match! Lunch and breakfast were also incredible and lots of variety and great service as always! We are definitely pleased with the indulgence package and it was so so worth it! The drinks were fantastic too! The cocktails were great and if they didn't have something on the menu they were more than happy to make it! The nightly live entertainment at fen bar was also great! We also went to chill bar to watch the sunset each evening with a cocktail of course! We also loved the movie on the beach and were lucky enough to be there for the White party which was totally awesome!! Imad was a waiter we had a lot of contact with over the week and he was extremely attentive and polite and took time to talk to us. Also Azzam was great too and he waited on us for our anniversary meal and was friendly and polite on several occasions throughout the trip! Such lovely staff everywhere it made it so memorable but these two men in particular! It was easy to get the snorkelling gear sorted and we definitely made use of it! We booked two snorkelling trips too and saw turtles and so many fish! Ronan also wanted to book the night fishing trip, which I wasn't that bothered by but in the end I caught a fish and he didn't (which was secretly satisfying to beat him to it hehe ;-)) then we ate it for lunch the next day and it was fantastic. They even asked what style you wanted it cooked and what time etc! and included the side dishes! We also made use of the complimentary photoshoot, they were great! Ronan hated every minute LOL (he is not a photo person lol!) but i could not miss this!! And we got to take home a photo too! Then we got a note for the Velassaru romance experience (again thank you!) it was soooo lovely being on the beach with canapés and fizz. And Brian the manager came to say hello and said he knows you etc :-D we were soooo surprised and touched by this extra fine touch to make it super special!

Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort (formerly Akaryn), Thailand

Yet another amazing trip booked through Lara. The resort was really nice and felt ever so relaxed. The staff were exceptional, always polite and happy to talk. We took part in a cookery course which was great fun. The spa was excellent, it certainly allowed us to unwind even more. Their website does not explain their food offerings very well but prepare yourself for all of the best traditional dishes plus some excellent western food. All in all a great trip! Thanks again.

Pangkor Laut Resort, Malaysia

My wife and I had an amazing time. Transfers and flights were great. Pangkor Laut was perfect in every single way. The island itself was heaven, food and drink, the customer service, the spa was the best and just everything was spot on. Thank you very much for an amazing honeymoon. You made everything run perfectly. All the paperwork sent out to us beforehand just made us feel as though we were being looked after. Your email before our flight to wish us a great time, and your email now just tops it off.

Four Rosmead, South Africa

Thank you so much for helping us arrange our holiday to South Africa and Dubai. Even though it wasn't our honeymoon it felt as though it was with all the special Turquoise additions. Four Rosmead was a lovely guest house and in a fantastic location with some wonderful staff who couldn't do enough to help us during our stay. The Waldorf Astoria on The Palm was equally as lovely and one of the nicest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. We will certainly be back in contact to arrange our 3rd honeymoon with you!

Ol Seki Hemingways Mara Camp, Kenya

The hotel in Nairobi was fantastic and the safari was unbelievable. We saw everything, lions making a kill, Cheater making a kill, huge elephants close up, leopard and loads more. As we were the only clients in the camp we had private safaris with two guides. We will be going back again in 2018. Everything was perfect, I would highly recommend hemingways hotel stay and camp Safari it's the best Safari we have had thank you. TRAVEL ADVICE: Firstly if you would love to travel to Kenya for a Safari holiday but you are concerned about a terrorist attack or kidnapping, don't be. Book with a travel company who specialises in this type of holiday and book a four or five star hotel away from the city if possible to avoid traffic jams and noise in general. If you fly with KLM or Kenyan Airways not only will you get a very good flight, good service and a competitive ticket price you will also get to use the brand new terminal with state of the art security. On your arrival all the airport staff are very polite and professional. You will notice the security is very tight and is manned by the well armed Kenyan Army. When you walk out of the arrivals you will be met by an agent who will drive you to your hotel. When you arrive at your hotel the first person to greet you will be an armed security guard. He will scan the car for explosives and search the boot. When he is satisfied he will lower the security posts, open the gates and let you through. The next day your driver will take you to Wilson Airport, again the security is very good. You will go through security and then board your 40 minuet flight to your Safari destination. When it's time to travel back I would recommend you unwind in that five star hotel in Nairobi ( Karen is a very nice suburb of Nairobi with some very nice hotels, if you want luxury try Hemingways it's fantastic for a one night stay. You will be taken to the air strip for your flight back to Nairobi, met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Same security. You will be picked up the next day to be taken to Nairobi International Airport, but this is were the security puts other countries in the shade. Approximately half a mile before you arrive at the airport your car will be stopped at an Army check point. You will leave the car while your driver and his car goes through a scanner. You will cross the road to pass through a scanner yourself and also your hand luggage will be scanned. Your driver will then pick you up and take you to the airport for your flight home after a look round the new airport terminal which has all the latest body scanners to be used before you board your flight. At no time is your life in danger, nor will you be kidnapped but like anywhere is this world you always have to be careful just where you go and always have your own transfers booked. I hope this travel advice helps you to go to Kenya and enjoy the magnificent wildlife of Africa and it's majestic way of life. I was lucky enough to go on an eleven day trip with nine nights safari staying at Ol Seki Hemingways set in a vast private reserve bordering the Mara and it was amazing as was the two night stay in Hemingways Nairobi. I shopped around for a competitive price and was lucky enough to find Turquoise Travel who specialise in this type of travel, they are very competitive, very professional and everything went without a single hitch or delay. I will always use them for this type of travel in the future.

The Datai, Malaysia

The hotel was amazing and was above and beyond our expectations. The pictures online do not do this place justice. The staff welcoming friendly and all greeted us by name within a day or two. They went above and beyond expectations with most of the requests we made. For example they streamed a football match to our room TV for me so I could watch it at 3:30 in the morning (and all I did was enquire at concierge was if it was showing on TV). . The service is what makes this resort as good as it is. The food was great, there are not many resorts I have been too where all four restaurants provide great food and great service, but the Datai does. Their is also a good variety of food which gives you good options if you are staying for a week or longer. Although the hotel was supposedly full or very busy, we did not really notice this. It never felt like there were too many people or over crowded. We were generally able to book tables on the day for the restaurants we wanted to visit and didn't once eat dinner outside the hotel. Ashna being vegetarian, it was also nice that every restaurant in the hotel had a separate vegetarian menu, but they were also open to suggestions if you wanted to make slight changes to the food. The room was great, a lot bigger than expected with all the amenities you need. The view from the room and the balcony was not the greatest, but you forget about this very quickly as we didn't spend much time looking out of our room. The amenities in the room were good and the complimentary soft drink in the mini bar was a nice touch. The hotel is nestled in the forest and although you would expect a lot of animals creatures, mosquitos etc, we didn't really notice much, which was nice. But were also welcomed by monkeys on the balcony once in a while which gave us that feeling of being close to nature. Breakfast was good a decent variety with continental and traditional Malay options, again service was always good and efficient even at busy times. Spa - The Spa was good, not the best with regards to amenities, but the treatments and service we received was perfect. Beach - The beach was great, clean, private and with great views. Sun loungers were always available regardless of the time you went. It was also a nice touch that they would bring round the occasional complimentary ice-cream cone or mini cocktail while you were lounging on the sun beds. Overall this was a perfect stay, we both would fully recommend this hotel to anyone we speak to. It was pretty much perfect in every way. Langkawi - as a place was great. The people were very friendly and nice and is a beautiful island. We did a few activities outside the hotel, which included a Sky Dive, which was amazing as the views are fantastic. We also did a Jet ski tour which was very different, but a lot of fun allowing you to see some the smaller untouched islands surrounding the main island. We also visited the Ski bridge which was definitely worth a visit.

Nisbet Plantation, St Kitts & Nevis

We had a lovely time thanks, made all the nicer by those little Turquoise touches. Speaking of which, thanks so much for the wine!! The hotel was very welcoming - they make a real effort to greet everyone by name, which is pretty impressive given the number of people they must see. The grounds are delightful, as is the Great House, plus it was a real treat to sit at breakfast by the sea and watch the Pelicans dive bombing for fish! Afternoon tea was also great - reminded us what a great institution it is!

Constance Halaveli Resort, Maldives

I absolutely loved the Maldives and Halaveli. It was everything I had dreamed for years, pure white sand and bright blue water, stunning. The luxury of Halaveli exceeded expectations, having someone 'prepare' our room twice a day, all staff greeted us by name as soon as we walked in a room, the care and attention they gave us made us feel special and gave it that real 'honeymoon' feel. The private lounge at the airport was complete 5* treatment, not only just what you needed after a very long flight but also just the relaxation you need before you embark on another very long flight home. I honestly don't know how we're going to holiday without a private lounge again? Thank you for all your help and finding us the most perfect place to honeymoon.

Siam@Siam Design Hotel, Thailand

We had the most spectacular honeymoon. Everything was perfectly organised and we had such an unforgettable experience!

Melati Beach Resort & Spa , Thailand

Melati - loved it. Really beautiful hotel, with great service, and a really relaxed and laid back atmosphere. The staff were brilliant – so friendly and helpful, and set a really nice tone. We were a bit worried we might get bored having 12 days there, but in the end we didn’t want to leave. I’d 100% recommend it – the resort was so relaxing and peaceful, but then we had Chaweng and Fisherman’s Villas 15 mins away for when we were feeling a bit more lively! Plus there were loads of excursion options. Also, we were slightly worried about being tied to having all our food & drinks in the resort (when not in town), but it turned out there was a cheap restaurant/beach bar next door, so that was good to have as an option as well. Really loved it, thanks for recommending it!

Velassaru, Maldives

Stayed for a week at the end of Jan/early Feb. Collected at the airport by friendly staff and taken to their lovely private boat. Journey was only 20 min or so but felt like you were far away from Male. Arriving at the Island was surreal - looks even better than the photos! The beaches are white sand, clear water - the prettiest place I have ever visited. Lovely greeting at the Island, check-in was relaxing. We were super lucky and upgraded from a bungalow to a beach pool villa which was beautiful, right on the beach with a cute little pool and gorgeous outdoor bathroom. (Booked with Turquoise so think they were to thank for our upgrade!) I was nervous about the outdoor bathroom as I manage to get bitten to death by Mosquitos in the UK, let alone tropical locations! BUT, they spray the Island all the time and I left with just one tiny insect bite. We were half board which included breakfast and dinner in the main buffet restaurant. On the nights we ate there we really enjoyed the food. Had dinner at Tepynaki one evening (over the water). I thought the food was ok and my partner thought it was very good (think Benihana) - the setting made it great and at the end of the evening the chefs fed the sharks below us with leftovers which was fun! Ate at Sands one evening and the food and service was beautiful - local fish dishes were incredible. We had a couples massage and the spa was amazing - not super expensive and you get to enjoy the plunge pool and balcony area. We had our massages at 5pm and then watched the sun set from the balcony over the water - wonderful experience. Dolphin trip was fun and we saw two types of dolphins. The sunset cruise with champs was relaxing and a lovely experience too. Snorkelling was great - we stayed around the reefs on the Island. We saw so many different types of coral, fish, mantas, sharks etc. We played tennis lots and there was always availability. The view of 'rubbish island' was so distant you wouldn't know what it was if you weren't told - you mustn't be put off the island for this reason! Evening entertainment varied and the staff got very excited about the local bands which was cute. The best entertainment however had to be the couples on their 'insta shoots' spending all day taking photos of each other - we're talking props, outfit changes, the lot - hilarious! ALL the staff were friendly, chatty and seemed to love their jobs and their island! The only way I can see improving the clients' experience is to add a children's play area - there were a few little ones and parents would probably appreciate this. Also the watersports were quite pricey - not a problem for us but we would have made more use of them if they were a little cheaper. 5-7 nights would be ideal. I would recommend in a heart beat to anyone - we had the most wonderful holiday, the Island is incredible as are the staff - couldn't be happier with our stay - thank you so much Velassaru for a dreamy week :))))))))

Ol Seki Hemingways Mara Camp, Kenya

The all inclusive safari package in Masai Mara was magnificently memorable.

Sanctuary Makanyane, South Africa

I've left my heart in Makanyane...My new husband and I stayed here earlier this month on the first leg of our honeymoon (booked through Turquoise). We had never been on safari before, so were't entirely sure what to expect, and it is of course quite a lot of money to pay, so we had pretty high expectations - these were absolutely met and exceeded. I really can't recommend Makanyane highly enough. The lodge itself is fantastic as is the location within the Madikwe Game Reserve.

Ti Kaye Resort & Spa, Saint Lucia

Our cottage with pool was of a high standard, and the food and wine were exceptional. A couple of our highlights at Ti Kaye were the wine tasting experience (the sommelier was very knowledgeable and friendly) and we did the "farm to table" experience with Chef Ozzy which was interesting and fun, and the food he cooked at the table in the restaurant was also very good. On our last day, we decided not to organise a late check-out from Ti Kaye as we thought we'd be leaving mid-afternoon so decided to just relax around the hotel for the day and stay out of the sun to avoid over-heating, but whilst eating lunch one of the receptionists found us and we were told our flight had been delayed and our transfer had been pushed back until 6pm. We went and sat on a sofa in the entrance area after lunch as it was quite hot outside and the manager Chris walked past and on hearing that our flight had been delayed, he went to reception and organised a complementary day room for us so that we could shower and freshen up- this was a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture and actually meant we felt a lot more relaxed when it actually came to leave. We only met Chris and Sarah part-way through our stay at Ti Kaye but both were very friendly and keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

Boucan by Hotel Chocolat, Saint Lucia

Boucan was very luxurious and relaxing and the luxe lodge we stayed in definitely lived up to its name! All areas of the hotel still felt very new and well maintained which added to the high-end feel of the hotel. The food was delicious- they were in the middle of changing menus that week and were keen to get feedback from customers on the new dishes and it was good to see this level of interest. We did the Tree to Bar experience which was interesting as we learnt a lot about the process, and the guide, Merle, was very knowledgeable.

Baros Maldives, Maldives

Lyndsey helped me plan a dream proposal to my now fiancé Jade, and helped keep the whole thing a secret right up until I got down on a knee. The trip was a resounding success; my expectations were exceeded (which is saying something considering how high they were going in!) The level of service on the island was incredible. Was worth every penny and then some. I can't thank you enough!

Ti Kaye Resort & Spa, Saint Lucia

The hotel was absolute paradise; exactly as you had described. The facilities in the main hotel were so beautiful, clean and spacious and it was wonderful having the option of a gorgeous tranquil pool v soft stunning beach to choose from. Our bedroom was absolute luxury - an outdoor shower, massive comfy bed, walk in wardrobe and hammock on a big veranda. So much space! What made the bedroom so extra special as well was the turn down service which came in the morning while we were at breakfast and then again in the evening while we were at dinner as they got it all ready for bed for us (drew the mosquito nets, pulled back the covers and turned on the air con). It was a small touch but felt so special! The staff were all so lovely, interesting, genuinely warm and friendly to all guests. We really appreciated feeling so well looked after throughout. We also enjoyed a couple of spa treatments each - one each at the beginning and one on our last day. What a divine treat! The activities we booked were absolutely ideal for us and gave us memories we'll treasure forever. Joe's favourite was the rainforest hike and mine was the sunset cruise! Your gift list facility was perfect as our wedding guests really appreciated being able to see for real what we were hoping to do on our honeymoon and visualise where their gifts would really go. All went so smoothly with booking and money transfer and we were thrilled to see on check-out that the honeymoon fund paid entirely for all our expenses, bar £10! We had the most incredible time and it was perfect for us - you got us 100% right! We have come back with magical memories feeling so rested and cared for. Huge thanks to you and the team for setting it all up for us. From Lizzie and Joe

Ti Kaye Resort & Spa, Saint Lucia

The holiday was excellent. Ti Kaye is undoubtedly an outstanding resort in many ways: • The ‘cottages’ are spacious, clean and very comfortable with a big bed and effective aircon. and mosquito netting (though mosquitos did not seem to be a problem last week) • The location is amazing with azure sea views from all the cottage verandas • The main restaurant is wonderful with the entire menu changing each day with interesting, beautifully prepared and presented, mainly Caribbean food masterminded by Dennis, the chef • the wine list is remarkable for a small hotel on a small island including some of the finest wines from all over the world (Opus One, Ch. Margaux etc. but also an extensive range of mid-price wines as well) • The hotel’s organisation of water sports (snorkelling, kayaking) was efficient and the bay is a superb venue for snorkelling. It does therefore attract visitors from elsewhere who arrive in boats, but generally do not stay too long. • The staff are all friendly, cheerful and cooperative • The hotel is very remote and there are no options for walking into a nearby town, but we were well prepared for this and enjoyed the sense of peaceful isolation in a stunning setting, and on alternate days went on tours, in most cases just for our party of four, arranged by the hotel • We enjoyed the Land and Sea tour, especially the Botanical Gardens • The hotel also arranged a water taxi to take us to Rodney Bay where we had a seafood lunch in the fantastic Spinnaker Beach Bar and Grill; and we also had a shorter water taxi trip to Marigot Bay (lunch at Doolittle’s) • The tutored wine tasting run by the hotel’s sommelier gave us a chance to see the beautifully laid out cellar and sample just a few of the wines, each matched with a different cheese • We had booked half-board though the hotel were unaware of this when we arrived. I produced our vouchers confirming our HB status but on several occasions we were presented with the bill at the end of the meal. The waitresses were fine about reprinting the incorrect bills, but it was a bit irritating. • The milk supplied with the tea and coffee making facilities in the cottage went sour after 24 hours, despite the fridge, and should have been changed automatically each day. • Chris and Sarah, the joint exec. managers are clearly running a successful hotel and have ongoing plans for further improvements (infinity pool etc.) Thanks for facilitating a wonderful holiday.

The Residence Zanzibar, Zanzibar

Ruth was brilliant. We booked our honeymoon the week before we left and Ruth was on it and came up with a wonderful trip for us. Nothing was too much trouble and we were very happy with everything. We stayed at the Residence in Zanzibar and Chedi in Muscat. We had a magical time and had no problems. THANK YOU

Long Beach Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius

Long Beach was incredible. have never stayed in a place that took such pride in itself, everything was pristine. We kept commenting on how clean and perfect everything was. The food was brilliant - the a la carte restaurants truly outdid themselves. The buffet was also very good, but since the 'a la carts' were so amazing; I think it suffered a bit in comparison. We had an Ocean View room, and our room was really lovely, very modern and spacious. Bed was very comfy and along with getting a proper clean in the morning, there was also a turndown service and freshen up at night - that was a nice touch. Overall, it was a totally relaxing and luxurious honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for better. Many thanks to Hannah and Turquoise for your attentive, professional and personalised service. You really took the time to figure out what we were looking for and your communication and attention to detail were excellent. Even once we were in Mauritius, the handover with the tour operators there was well organised and flawless. I have already recommended Turquoise to several of my friends and clients!

Amanoi, Vinh Hy Bay, Vietnam

Best hotel we have ever been. everything in our holiday was perfectly organised: - flights - pick ups at each airport - stay at the sofitel metropole in hanoi - stay at amanoi - stay at six senses con dao perfect honeymoon excellent service

Velassaru, Maldives

We have just moved to Beaconsfield and walked past Turquoise and decided to enquire about a holiday. We spoke to Lara and she immediately made us feel so comfortable and welcome. She listened to our plans and came up with 3 great ideas for us. Lara regularly emailed us to make sure everything was still OK with us and if we had any special requests. Lara's recommendation was spot on and we really couldn't ask for any more. Thank you so much for all of your help. We look forward to booking our next holiday very soon :)

Velassaru, Maldives

Just to say a huge thank you for booking our wonderful honeymoon! We had the most fantastic memorable time! Thank you Hannah for all your help booking us. We were worried about the weather at the end of November but we got there and it didn't rain once! (Best to go when it is a full moon!) The resort was beautiful. Only half occupancy but stunning accommodation and lovely to be able to walk around the island in 20minutes. We opted for the AI option and would really recommend as we far exceeded the amount per day paid in drinks. Their policy has just changed so AI does now mean drinks at all times, even without food! Diving superb, lots of colourful coral and thousands of fish!! We will be back!!

Rosewood Little Dix Bay, British Virgin Islands

Our trip to Rosewood Little Dix was simply amazing and we could not have asked for more. We wanted somewhere where we could wind down and enjoy some winter sun and Little Dix did not disappoint. The service from every member of staff (no exceptions) was exemplary and felt completely personalised with them remembering our names, drinks at breakfast and ensuring we had UK news despite most of the other guests being American. The resort itself is immaculate and plenty to keep us occupied when we were not idly floating out at sea include short treks, snorkelling, treatments at the spa (incredible views), water sports (non-motorised which suited us), plus complimentary beach drops to the nearby beaches. The island is small but we hired a car for one day to explore which was nice and fantastic views across the nearby islands. Would definitely recommend the Sunset Cruise also put on by Little Dix - it was the chance to see the different islands and coastline with Little Dix providing fantastic service, commentary on the different locations and plenty of food and drink for the 2 hours we were out. Another nice touch was the Manager's Cocktail party where the GM and key members of his team put on drinks and canapés and guests at sunset - completely relaxed atmosphere and a nice way to mingle with the other guests. We would definitely return to Little Dix and recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the rat race in understated luxury. The one downside we experienced was the connection in Antigua which was over 5 hours – not much that can be done as you have to change for the connecting island flights and soon forgotten once we arrived at Little Dix. Finally, Turquoise were fantastic – we spent some time trying to decide the best destination and Donna was very helpful, able to give plenty of choices and closely followed up on our requests. We felt totally spoilt in terms of service and no hesitation to book with them again. Thank you Donna!

Sudamala, Indonesia

The fast boat over to Lombok was rough but exciting. We were originally disappointed that we did not get to stay at the Qunci Villas however from staying at the Sudamala we would definitely recommend it. We would say that Lombok is a lot more relaxing than Bali as there was less traffic. The sunset villa did not disappoint, the view was amazing and it was so private. Very traditional villa with outdoor and indoor showers. There was again a list of things that was happening each day and night along with the spa. Wendy took advantage of the massages that were on offer two days and she said that they were amazing. The staff here were again very attentive and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Once again we took tours through the hotel and also with the locals. We went to the 3 Gilli Islands and I completed my first section of diving. The snorkelling was the best here at the Gillis and I got to see giant turtles. The waters were clear and full of life, we had bottles with a hole in the lid and bread to feed the fish that were not shy. We also went to the South Gill's which was fantastic. It did take about 90mins but however was well worth it. As we were on the beach front there were a lot of locals selling traditional crafts but they were very friendly and not pushy. The food in the hotel again did not disappoint; they can cook our food better that we do! Wendy was also able to test out the local food but I prefer steak so was great to have it for two weeks at a bargain price! The restaurants in the town too were beautiful. We felt like king and queen the whole holiday. We will definitely recommend this holiday to anyone and if we are lucky enough to be able to do it again we would go back to the Sudamalla Lombok. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget. Wendy and I would like to thank you especially for everything that you did to make this happen. We have been telling all our friends and family about Turquoise Holidays and if we ever decide on another holiday we will definitely be using Turquoise Holidays again. Glenn & Wendy Olphert

Uma Ubud, Indonesia

Again another lovely hotel. There was a lot more of a buzz around this hotel with a list of activities that were happening each day. Breakfast was alongside a large pond and the food was again lovely. We had a bottle of wine greet us on arrival and some chocolates along with a rose petal bath. The staff here too were very attentive and friendly. We went for several walks to the centre of the shops which was approximately 40mins and we visited the rice fields behind. Again we went on trips both organised through hotel and locals. The town here was a lot bigger and had so many tasty restaurants to eat in. The food was again amazing and very cheap compared to back home. We went to visit the Volcano and we also visited many temples; our favourite ones were the ones by the lake and the cliff by the sea. One of our highlights was the trip to the Elephant Safari, to be up close with the elephants and having a tour on their backs made you see things from a completely different angle. Another animal experience was our trip to the Monkey Forest, we had read a lot of reviews of ones saying that the monkeys attacked them but this was only if they had food and water. We didn't have any unpleasant experiences with them. We also visited the wood carvers village and batik and learnt a lot about their crafts.

The Pavilions Bali, Indonesia

We absolutely loved this place, the staff were so friendly and helpful. They had a plaque with our name on it hanging on the gate, on the bed and in the bath were petals and a card with two sarongs for us, which came in very handy for the visits to the temples. The one bedroom pool villa was amazing, it was so private and peaceful with loads of greenery and the pool was really big. The bathroom had an outdoor shower which was a new experience. We hardly heard or seen any other guests and it was like we were the only ones there. Definitely lovely to be able to relax at the beginning of our Honeymoon just after a wedding. They took our breakfast orders the night before and brought it direct to our suite. We are out every night and the food was amazing in Sanur and very cheap! We especially liked the Wicked Parrot bar, they had live music and the food on the menu was British and local which suited Wendy & I. We also had the sunset dinning which was another enjoyable experience. The streets were filled with decorations for their celebrations and was definitely amazing to see their culture. All the locals that we had met were so friendly and helpful and we felt very safe and relaxed.

The Sarojin, Thailand

The Sarojin was truly the most wonderful hotel we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Our Pool Residence was wonderful, so spacious and we loved the sala. The pool was very cold but I think that's because it's running water so doesn't get much chance to heat up. We spent our days between our pool, the main pool which was fantastic and the wonderful beach. The food in all the restaurants was Michelin star quality and the breakfast was the most amazing way to begin the day. We could eat it at any time of day that we wanted to and have as much as we wanted which was all cooked made to order. They also gave us a 5 course degustation meal for free with wine pairings and this was a highlight. However, it is the service that makes the Sarojin so wonderful. Everyone is so attentive but relaxed and you really feel like it is home, albeit an extremely posh one! The Sarojin was slightly more that we had wanted to spend but we are truly glad that we did. It was the most amazing holiday of our life and we would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for making our visit possible. We have been very impressed with your service and the support of April with the gift list. Please pass on our thanks to your team. Best wishes Sarah and Mike

Ol Seki Hemingways Mara Camp, Kenya

Simply the most amazing holiday. Four days is the perfect length. We saw every animal possible (except rhino) and a kill! The family tent is amazing, food delicious, the service exceptional special mention to James and Pamela. Our guides Benson and Raphael were incredible looked after us beautifully and such conservancy knowledge. We Recommend a trip to local school and village and morning drives. Possibly the best holiday we have ever had it exceeded our expectations in every way. Still missing our guides who became part of our family.

The Residence Zanzibar, Zanzibar

a great winter break, a lovely hotel in a beautiful location, the beach is tidal but still enchanting and the resort has everything you need, our villa had a beach view and was so quiet, not for those who crave bright lights the staff are kind and friendly and have a sense of humour, and we enjoyed the food although service could be slow especially around mid afternoon we were treated to a dinner on the beach for our wedding anniversary and made to feel very special, the island is interesting but very poor and we were told about the difficulties with back handers needed to get anything done we had a trip to stone town and the spice farm which was interesting but we were glad to return to our peaceful oasis it would be best to get all inclusive as drinks are expensive, we wished we could have combined our trip with a visit to another part of the island and maybe gorilla safari or kilimanjaro trip as it was a long way to go for a week but it was a fantastic experience

Constance Moofushi Resort, Maldives

Travel: BA direct from Gatwick to Male. 10hr+ flight so pleased we paid the extra to go 'Club World'. Very pleasant and efficient sea plane service to and from Male to Moofushi. Accommodation: very adequate and although we were pleased to be at the 1-10 end of the Beach villas, would imagine any of these would be acceptable. The standard of accommodation was very good with very comfortable beds, spacious shower area with outside decking and private area with direct beach access about 10 m away. Food and drink: excellent quality, quantity and presentation. Very varied menus each night different themes. Wines excellent selection and wide range of spirits and excellent cocktails. The Alizee special restaurant quite romantic ( on beach, candle lit etc and reasonable choice of food) Presentation could be better but as other eating arrangements were so good it would be difficult to have better! The Totem bar for lunches was very good, with a different view and great ambience. Staff. All very friendly and helpful, in every department. Excursions. We wanted to do lots of snorkelling and were not disappointed! The house reef accessible from beach next to jetty. Trips to other reefs available. One free trip and the other discounted for second use. Didn't see dolphins but nice boat ride and we were warned we might be disappointed! The Island. Quite small but somehow even at 70% occupancy we never felt 'crowded'. All buildings were tastefully constructed and we would not have wanted the more expensive 'water villas'. These were quite a treck for occupants to get to bars etc. We took a ' behind the scenes' tour of the engineering complex which was well screened from guests. An 'eye opener' to see how we managed to get a home from home facility despite the remoteness of the island! We cannot comment on the Spa or the shops, only to say we didn't see anyone in the Spa! Prices? Beach loungers and mattresses first class as were all facilities. It is very rare that one comes away from such a holiday without at least one 'gripe', but not this time. Perfect!

The Samaya Seminyak, Indonesia

Our last few nights in the Samaya Seminyak were really special. It was without a doubt the most luxurious of the hotels we stayed in – and for us it was the perfect end to our honeymoon! We had one particularly excellent meal at Breeze (tasting menu). Our other meals there, including afternoon tea, were also wonderful – although as noted above we actually thought the standard of food at the Samaya Ubud won by a narrow margin! We also had a number of treatments at the spa, which again was very nice but perhaps not quite as special as the one in Ubud. What really set the Samaya Seminyak apart however was the position on the beach – which was world class – and also the standard of service which we found to be incredibly attentive, while also not being too overbearing. We spent much (most!) of our time on the sun loungers by the pool facing out to sea and memories of that view will stay with us for a long time! We also wandered down the beach to Ku De Ta for dinner one evening which was very special.

Qunci Villas, Indonesia

We loved our time on Lombok which was quieter than Bali and provided a welcome opportunity for complete relaxation after the wedding! The coastline at the bottom of Lombok is stunning and the views from where we were in Qunci were fantastic of Bali. We both really enjoyed Qunci. It probably doesn't make you feel like royalty like the other two but we actually found this a comfortable change for the middle part of the holiday since it made our stay really relaxing. The pools are world class and the service round the pool was lovely. It probably loses on food slightly to the other two hotels we stayed in, but there was enough variation to keep you happy (Asian menu and western menu). Also we really enjoyed the dance show they have once a week and made liberal use of the happy hour! We didn't think much of Sengigi but the hotel was fabulous and we really enjoyed trips to Gillis and south Lombok which are easy to arrange through the hotel. Overall we came away feeling like Lombok was a real ‘gem’ to discover on honeymoon and would certainly recommend it to anyone.

The Samaya Ubud, Indonesia

We thought this was a very special hotel, the way the villas are set on the valley is very picturesque with such a lovely view over the rice fields. The food was absolutely excellent at Swept Away and we thought that it was actually better than the food at Breeze at the Samaya Seminyak. The room was really lovely (particularly the spacious bathroom!). In terms of service, they were incredibly attentive and would do absolutely anything for you and were on the end of the phone 24/7. If there was one negative, it was probably that their friendliness was occasionally over the top (although it feels a bit mean saying that!). It was lovely how they would always ask you how you were and what your plans were, but sometimes you might be asked in quick succession by several people and it could get a bit much! I think this might be because it's new compared to the Seminyak sister where they seem to have settled down a bit more and are more natural with clients. However this was a tiny point and we had a fantastic few days at the Samaya Ubud. We both had lots of Spa treatments. Again this was a fantastic facility and we thought it was even better than its counterpart in Seminyak.

Traders Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

In Kuala Lumpur we really enjoyed the Traders Hotel. Its location was fantastic and we packed a lot into a day and a half as we could travel around so easily from our hotel. The service at the hotel was impeccable and we did not want for anything during our stay. Again, the room was pristine. A highlight for us was the trip to the Elephant Sanctuary. Our driver on the day took us to the Batu Caves and this seems to be something that is included, so we both thought it would be good if it was advertised as this, as we were going to get up early to do this before the Elephant trip, but our taxi driver told us that we would go as part of our trip, so we were pleased we hadn't got up early to do it first. The jungle dining experience was phenomenal; the food and service there was just incredible.

Tanjong Jara Resort, Malaysia

The Tanjong Jara was just iydillic and we both said after ten days that it felt like we had been away for a whole month. Our room was perfect and we loved the sea view. The room was spacious, comfortable and kept pristinely clean during our stay. The food was gorgeous in both restaurants. Throughout the entire resort the staff were so professional all the time, could not do enough for you and the service felt very personal as they always used your names. The pool area was lovely. Service at the pool restaurant could be quite slow during the day time. We both said we will probably never stay anywhere that amazing again. We loved the trips we did; they made the holiday so special for us. The waterfall trek was brilliant, but quite a tough trek! As an animal lover, being woken up by spider monkeys peering in our room and on the roof of our room was a real highlight. We went turtle watching with the hotel on an evening, which was also a very special moment. The snorkelling was beautiful and well run as a day trip and we loved the river cruise and bike ride.

Amankila, Indonesia

Amankila - unbelievable, the best place. We absolutely loved it. Our villa was equisite with our own pool. Beautiful view of the sea and very peaceful and quiet the whole time as if there was no one else there. The service was incredible - no one ever asked us who we were or what room we were in when we ordered anything, nothing was too much trouble for them. The pools and beach were gorgeous and again great service. The boogie boards to use, sun tan lotion and water urns to wash your feet before getting onto your beach cabana were brilliant extra touches. We went on a boat trip as a free trip included which was great for snorkelling and we also had a joint massage outside on our terrace which was superb. There wasn't much else to do there but we didn't want to do anything else it was so relaxing and idyllic. The food was amazing either in the restaurant or room service on our terrace but unfortunately I did get food poisoning from one evening meal which wiped me out for the whole of the next day and I couldn't leave my bed. That was the only disappointing thing about the whole time there but it was such a shame to miss a whole day. As we hadn't left the hotel it had to be from their food which was strange as it was so good.

Qunci Villas, Indonesia

Qunci Villas were BEAUTIFUL!!! I know it notes on your website that it doesn't have all the touches of a 5* hotel but the best way to put it is that it is how Lombok would do 5*, if it had those touches it would lose it's local/Lombok style which would be a shame. The service was impeccable, the room/pool/grounds were immaculate. The food was so good we happily ate nearly all our meals there, didn't seem much point going out as the best local food was already at Qunci. Tom did a cooking course at the hotel too, which was really good as it was one on one and he got all the recipes to take away. The hotel also emailed him afterwards with the recipes which was a great touch. The spa was fabulous and very professional. Basically I can't complain about this hotel at all, I was less than happy to leave! I couldn't remember what benefits we were supposed to get for being on honeymoon but we had a flower arrangement set up in our room. I had a feeling we were meant to get something else but it didn't matter to us - it just might be something you want to check for any future bookings.

SALA Phuket, Thailand

Phuket - The SALA hotel was amazing - everything we wanted to finish off our honeymoon. On arrival the hotel really does wow! The staff were efficient, incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It is in a great location for anyone (like us) wishing to be in a quiet area and not feeling the need to go out and explore (otherwise it is quite a way from Patong which is where the trips would be from). Our villa was thoughtfully laid out with a great size pool, lovely sunny deck area and cool outside bathroom. The whole resort is carefully designed to ensure privacy and peace. The beach was beautiful, you hardly saw another person on it and the bar/restaurant looks out onto this. A definite recommendation and we would look in the future to return to a SALA resort in Thailand.

Elephant Hills Tented Jungle Camps, Thailand

Elephant hills - this was the highlight of our trip especially the floating tents although we didn't get much sleep with all the jungle noises, it was amazing to hear.

Indigo Pearl, Phuket, Thailand

Indigo pearl - this was a perfect start to our holiday. My son particularly liked the breakfast buffet and the waffles and pancakes! It was great having the restaurants on the beach and we ate here most lunchtimes and evenings as we felt the hotel restaurants were a bit too formal for families (but great for couples!). The D Buk suite was great and a perfect size for us.

Rayavadee, Thailand

Rayavadee – wow, wow, wow. Absolutely beautiful and the villa we stayed in was stunning. We loved every second of our stay there which was faultless. The service was unbelievable. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks again!

The Shore, Thailand

The Shore at Katathani was absolutely stunning. Our sea view villa had uninterrupted views and we were halfway up the hillside so didn’t need to call for the buggies! Housekeeping was superb and consistent and the turndown service with the little notes and gifts a lovely touch. One of the room boys kept making us ‘towel animals’ which made us laugh daily! All of the staff were friendly and welcoming as was the resident manager who always took time to chat and ask how everything was. Breakfast was great as was the complimentary afternoon tea (unexpected with a great choice of drinks, sandwiches and cakes). The Harbour restaurant where we ate every night was also excellent, intimate and relaxed. After looking around at the next door Katathani resort we decided not to use their restaurants or facilities as not really our sort of thing. The actual setting of The Shore was definitely the best spot on what we thought was the best and quietest beach. The main infinity pool was beautiful and quiet although we spent most of our relaxing time in our own pool. The beach itself was impressive, clean and not as busy as were expecting which was good!! The whole resort felt small, intimate and special and after seeing various other hotels on the way to the Marina for our boat trips on a couple of days, we were glad we chose the Shore.

Anantara Bangkok Riverside, Thailand

The Anantara Riverside hotel in Bangkok was a great hotel in a great location and we were pleased with our choice – we were upgraded from a River View Premium room to a River Front Premium view so that was a nice touch. The facilities were excellent and the hotel had a welcoming homely feel to it. We ate there on all three nights – the first night we did their bbq buffet out by the Riverside watching the entertainment and the food was superb. The second night we did their Manora Dinner Cruise which really was worth the money; we did the Gold menu and the food and service was excellent and the cruise itself was lovely as it was a small boat with low level music and a great way to see the River sights by night. The final night we ate at Trader Vics which was also excellent food and drank some amazing cocktails – good live music – unfortunately not many people in there which was a shame as a really good restaurant and bar. We also used the Elephant Bar (wonderful ambience but once again not many people in there) and Numero Uno Chocolate Cafe – really good drinks and food there too. We used the free shuttle over to Asiatique which was noisy but fun (Thai New Year was in full swing when we were there!). We also managed to do the Temples and Palace Tour which we booked through the hotel and as there were only 7 of us – it was intimate and really worthwhile. Overall a big thumbs up to Bangkok!

Six Senses Samui, Thailand

Sala Samui – this hotel is just perfect. Nothing was too much hassle and the warm welcome we received for our honeymoon was great. The room itself was great, the private pool such a relief! The restaurant there is fantastic, and we ate there a few nights. The theme nights are particularly good. We didn’t realise there was a shuttle bus every night to Chaweng until someone told us – but this was really useful as we could just book a space and jump on – they also collect you at agreed times too. Although it is a fairly quiet beach, it is the perfect location for couples/honeymooners away from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng but close enough to visit at night.

Six Senses Samui, Thailand

Sala Samui in Koh Samui was everything we hoped it to be. I can't fault it. The staff are amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Our pool villa was amazing, as were all the other facilities at the hotel such as the pools, spa and restaurants. It was never busy, always plenty of spaces to lie by the pool or beach or eat in the restaurant. Food was amazing and the pricing for food and drink at the hotel was actually more reasonable than we thought it might be. The beach is quiet and calm and the grounds were all so well maintained. I could have happily spent another 2 weeks there!! They made it feel really special with lovely little touches like flowers in our room and treats on the bed. I think the majority of their guests are honeymooners, but they made everyone feel individual and special. The small town/village that the resort sits in (Choeng-mon) is quiet but has everything you need in terms of some restaurants, shops and chemist etc., and its easy enough to jump into cabs to neighbouring Bo-Phut or Chaweng when we wanted a bit more to see or do. Thank you so much for helping us choose our honeymoon, we had an amazing time and wouldn't have wished to have gone anywhere else. We were also so fortunate with the weather which was one of our key priorities so we were really pleased. Just wish we were still there.

Gaya Island Resort, Malaysia

OH MY GOD- stunning!!! Staff so helpful, friendly, food fantastic, spa brilliant, island beautiful, fishermans cove restaurant was fantastic, the feast village restaurant was the same menu daily as was the fishermans cove, which some people found disappointing talking to other guests. But late on we spoke to a couple that had been asked randomly one day if they would like a chef's special in feast village - which is where the chef cooks you a meal, you just tell him what you don't like or do like, and so he did it for us one night and it was incredible- and all within our meal package, the chefs loved doing it. I think if people had known that then lots of people would have gone for that but then it would be difficult as the chefs wouldn't be able to do it for everyone.

Pangkor Laut Resort, Malaysia

Pangkor Laut.... That place is Paradise. We are so glad we had the food package we ate like kings for the week. Fishermans Cove served some of the best food we have ever had, they are deserved of a Michelin star. Feast Village, was amazing, especially the a la Carte menu. We were a tad disappointed with the Chinese, Uncle Lims. It just wasn't up to par of the other restaurants available but we certainly didn't let it affect our stay. We are glad we didn't upgrade, the spa village is so far away from everywhere and we would have relied on the shuttles which were a bit slow on collection. There really didn't seem any benefit to the extra cost of the spa village. Our Sea villa was lovely, well equipped, spotless and just a lovely place to chill out. We even had Sea Otters swim past our villa! The Spa Village was great, on the daily 50 min package we worked out you can skip a day and combine 2 days to have 100 min treatment so we did this for 3 of the sessions which was great as we got super long massages, body wraps etc. The staff were all amazing, they are all so professional, polite and couldn't do enough to help. Each one of them made our stay unforgettable! We have absolutely raved about Pangkor Laut since we've been back and had a number of people ask for the details, so of course we have passed on your details. Thank you so much for all your help with organising everything, our honeymoon was completely stress free which we have you and your colleagues to thank for! We will definitely be using you again to book in the future.

The Metropolitan Bangkok, Thailand

The metropolitan is faultless, so clean and the staff couldnt do enough for us, extremely helpful. They booked us taxis, restaurant reservations and helped us to find places. The Nahm restaurant was incredible, the best thai food we have ever had. It was very quiet at the hotel and it had a lovely pool to come back to after we were out busy site seeing most of the day. Breakfast there was such a wide variety and really filling for a busy day ahead. The champagne, chocolates, flowers and fruit was a lovely touch on arrival and we enjoyed our cocktail at the Met bar.

Qunci Villas, Indonesia

Quinci Villas is a quiet and beautiful hotel located on a bay just north of Sengiggi. Our 5 night visit was an ideal way to start our honeymoon and recover from the madness of organising a wedding! The hotel is tastefully decorated with beautiful slates and wood, the walls adorned with local art. The main attraction though is definitely the view. There are three large pools and three restaurants all facing the quiet beach and roaring sea. It’s a struggle to not simply watch the waves crash and forget about your pile of holiday reading. Daily half price cocktails between 5-7pm are an excellent way to mark the end of the lazy days on loungers and day beds. The staff make a real effort with evening activities – every other night is a ‘special night’ that guests are invited to by the manager– we had a seafood BBQ, a night of local food and dance, and a romantic beach dinner. Everything is very quiet – there’s no bar; the common areas are set up for quiet reading and watching the sea. People keep themselves to themselves. A very high standard of food – breakfast was a highlight as well as the BBQ dinners. We went into Sengiggi for one night to eat but otherwise stayed at the hotel as it was so good and wasn’t too expensive (around £40 for two incl wine). Trip Advisor lists the Italian restaurant at the hotel as top for the area and it was excellent. The rooms have no TVs and the wifi is intermittent, but actually all that does is force you to relax and sleep! The spa is excellent. The staff are all helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend. It feels like you are somewhere very expensive (even though its really not)!

Spa Village Resort Tembok Bali, Indonesia

Our favourite was probably The Spa Village in Tembok as it was just so tranquil, excellent service, beautiful grounds and pool and beach setting and the food was perfection. We literally felt the most relaxed we have ever been and the treatments just kept on coming. We booked an extra treatment on the beach in the evening (couples massage under the stars) and this was bliss as we could hear the waves. The chef at the resort was absolutely fantastic and every single dish in every single meal was truly delicious and we felt healthier for staying there. Also enjoyed yoga under the palm trees in the early evening and a bike ride to the waterfall. Our minor feedback for the resort was that the rooms were quite dimly lit which whilst that was nice in many ways, the wardrobe area particularly was difficult to see things. The bathrooms could perhaps do with some updating at some point compared to some of the other resorts but were still very nice. Lastly, they only had one size of bicycle helmet and it didn’t fit Kev so he had to go without - it was the strap that wasn’t long enough. From a safety point of view this should be rectified.

Elephant Hills Tented Jungle Camps, Thailand

The transfer to Elephant Hills wasn't as long or hot as we expected which was a relief, and it was certainly worth it. Everyone who goes to Thailand should go to Elephant Hills. It was the absolute highlight of our trip. I think it was just 'camping' enough for us, not too scary and wild, but still a flavour of what camping in the jungle is like - including the giant centipedes and mosquitoes! The canoe safari was beautiful - the limestone mountains are a landscape we will never forget. But the elephant experience was one of the best days of my life, such gentle creatures, and handles with such respect. I was so pleased they didn't let people ride them, and that the mahouts looked after one elephant each - like a friend! The camp itself was lovely, great food, and good entertainment in the evenings. There was an amazing storm that night which lit up the mountains - and cut the power haha! The floating campsite was amazing, definitely my favourite sleeping place, and waking up to the sun rising over the jungle was just gorgeous. Alex enjoyed a morning swim in the warm waters! The jungle trek was a little scary if I'm honest, few too many creepy crawlies than I like - giant spiders, snakes, crickets, chicadas, giant ants etc, especially in a big cave we went in to! I would definitely recommend anyone who doesn't really like creepy crawlies to avoid the trek.

Four Seasons Resort Langkawi, Malaysia

Four Seasons Langkawi was beyond expectations. Everything from the room, the food, the service, the setting and the sense of exclusivity and space was just fantastic - perfect for what we were after. The real touch was how the staff were just 100% committed to making you feel special ALL the time. Everyone knew our names and addressed us by them all the time. Little touches and surprises everyday. A real sense that you were getting what you were paying for. Massive thanks for the recommendation.

Tanjong Jara Resort, Malaysia

I meant to get in touch with you anyway, to thank you for helping us book a wonderful holiday at such short notice. I am pleased to tell you that we loved the resort, quality of the beach and the entire set-up. It was ideal for us as we were both exhausted and possibly experiencing burn out. There was incredible attention to detail in providing an excellent service. The staff were extremely warm, friendly and obliging and all went out of their way to try to make our stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. There was the opportunity for some activities (as required) and at the weekends, organised demonstrations of traditional Kampong lifestyle - foods & activities, which it was great to learn about. The resort also had excellent amenities. One thing that also helped was that while busy, the resort & beach were not crowded. Having seen other similar places become highly commercialised & unappealing, I hope the same doesn't happen here.

Elephant Hills Tented Jungle Camps, Thailand

Elephant Hills was great! Actually its pretty luxury- we were a little worried about being in a tent for our honeymoon but it was one of our highlights- particular the night on the lake- it was great- unfortunately- only down side was they decided to give us twin beds in the elephant hills which was a little disappointing for our honeymoon.

The Sarojin, Thailand

The Sarojin was fantastic- the service from the staff is just great- they can't do enough for you. Highlights for is was the fact you can have breakfast until 6pm and the guys down at the watersports who taught us how to sail! Amazing! There is also some great restaurants along the beach from Sarojin and the transport into town is really good so it wasn't as isolated as we were worried it might be.

The Sarojin, Thailand

The Sarojin was absolutely beautiful. You really feel like you are getting a treat from the moment that you get in the transfer car. The Room was absolutely gorgeous, and the pool is lovely. The different types of wildlife on the resort are really cool. You have access to a really nice quiet beach too. The a la carte breakfast is the best thing ever because we always wake up too late for breakfast on holiday, so we basically treated it like lunch every day. We did do a private dinner on the beach on the last night, which whilst expensive was totally worth it.

Navutu Dreams, Cambodia

The Navutu Dreams was amazing. The room was really stylish, and the whole set up made you feel like you were in a tropical garden. The pools were lovely, especially the saltwater pool. They have a reliable and reasonable tuk tuk service into town. It is hands down the best hotel in Siem Reap, we chatted to a few other people on our flight back about where they had stayed, they had nothing but complaints about the hotels they’d stayed at. Our guide was great as well. Very knowledgeable, excellent English.

Spa Village Resort Tembok Bali, Indonesia

We were really impressed with all the 3 hotels we stayed at, but were particularly impressed with Tembok. The hotel was fabulous, intimate and very peaceful. We liked the welcome drink and massage when we just arrived which immediately completely relaxed us. We had a really nice view from our room. We didn't like the beach very much, but it didn't matter as we loved the hotel. The food was amazing and it was just perfect for relaxing after the wedding. The staff at all the hotels were really pleasant (probably the best customer we have experienced during our travels so far), but we were especially impressed with the service during every aspect of our stay at Tembok. Their customer service even extended to us after we left the hotel. We were involved in a minor car accident and the management at Tembok sent us flowers to the hotel we were staying at the time to wish us well and wish us a pleasant rest of our stay in Bali (a very lovely gesture on their part).

Uma Ubud, Indonesia

The Uma in Ubud was a brilliant hotel. Would seriously recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud. Staff were brilliant and could not do enough for you. Breakfast was varied and so fresh. The hotel guide took us on a walk taking in the local paddy fields and talked comprehensively about local spices that were grown and used in the local restaurants. The Uma did the best Vodka Martini cocktails we have had anywhere and they certainly helped get us into the holiday mode. Plenty of local restaurants to try and no shortage on variety and price. Mujhana the Asian Trails guide who escorted us from Tembok to Ubud was a wealth of information and made the journey so interesting. When picking us up in the evening to have dinner and watch the local dancing he again inspired us with his love for his country and traditions.

The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore

The Fullerton in Singapore was excellent. Central to everything and very easy to commute between the different areas with a wonderful view across the bay from our 7th floor Garden room. A bottle of wine and a specially decorated cake to greet us on our arrival was a really nice touch. Breakfast was superb and sitting outside on the terrace first thing in the morning was a delight. The selection of food on offer was tremendous. Had a cocktail on the roof overlooking the bay in the Lighthouse Restaurant which was lovely but we both thought that the food was quite ordinary in the Italian Restaurant of the same name but very overpriced for what we had. The Hawkers Market was a great experience and if the Lighthouse was overpriced then the food on offer at ridiculously low prices in there was amazing and the atmosphere was great.

Hotel Tugu Lombok, Indonesia

Our room in the Tugu Hotel was amazing and your suggestion of upgrading to the Garden beachfront was inspired. Our own 30 metre garden with plunge pool and day bed, leading onto golden sands and the sea was tremendous. To wake up in a massive 4 poster bed and open the enormous patio doors and look out to sea was fantastic. The outdoor rainforest shower and bath to the rear with your own private gated garden and carp pond is indeed the largest 1 bedroomed property that we have ever stayed in. The original Balinese art / artefacts were so in keeping with the style of the property. A large settee and chairs were also available for use in the room. Staff ensured that care was taken to protect guests from mosquitos and when coming to turn down the sheets at night they prepared the room accordingly. Food here was excellent and so was the service. Do not miss afternoon tea and try the local delicacies on offer. Do use the hotel Boat to go out snorkelling. We spent a half day visiting 3 of the Gillie Island and swimming with the turtles. The hotel lets you hire their boats as a couple and the rates were very competitive, the crew knowledgeable and safety precautions were strictly adhered to. I found that the guide who escorted us to the Tugu spent the entire journey trying to sell us a trip and saying that we could "negotiate" a better price if we bartered and that the hotel boat would be crowded!! The opposite being the case

Hotel Tugu Lombok, Indonesia

Tugu Lombok - This was definitely our favourite hotel of the trip. Not only was it located in paradise, the service was absolutely first class. The manager greeted us on arrival by welcoming us 'home' and all of the staff recognised us and addressed on first name terms within 24 hours of arrival. Really loved the way that you could just dine anywhere on the grounds that you wanted to. We loved the way the hotel was so natural and blended in with its surroundings.

The Nam Hai, Hoi An, Vietnam

The Nam Hai in Hoi An is the best beach resort both I and my wife have stayed in anywhere in the world but some distance, and we’re pretty well travelled. It was spectacular. We had a 1 bedroom Villa right on the beach (front row) and they were just amazing to us throughout our stay.

Spa Village Resort Tembok Bali, Indonesia

Bali was absolutely beautiful and the weather was perfect! We had lovely tans!! The food was amazing. It wasn't Gordon Ramsay or anything but for full board they go all out with an extensive and well-chosen menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner offering a fantastic range of vegetarian, fish and meat dishes and they are all healthy to match the spa feel, good portion sizes, 3 courses, fresh and locally sourced which was wonderful. The chefs make an effort to create and see you and we expressed our love for tuna so they actually got some in for us to do on the BBQ one night. It was just wonderful. The staff can't do enough for you. Even down to learning all the guests names and itineraries so they all address you as Miss Leanne and Mr Grahame and constantly ask how your trip was or your massage etc ete. Every detail was bought of including a foot soak, neck and shoulder massage on arrival at midnight! Plus the kitchen was closed and they'd prepared food for us to leave in the room before they left. Details matter and they've got it all just right. The spa resort itself is heaven and perfect for honeymooners or to return for anniversaries. They make you feel so special even down to filling up your water all day as you lay by the pool, straightening your towels so there are no lumps and moving your bed around the pool throughout the day for you so you are always in the sun! Your rooms are cleaned twice a day and little notes, flowers and gifts are left for you every day. Candles are lit and rose petal baths run for you. We never wanted to leave and can't thank you and the spa enough for making our trip so special!

Banyan Tree Samui, Thailand

We could not believe our eyes when we arrived at the Banyan Tree and words cannot describe how much of an amazing place it is! It is the best place I have ever stayed at and the best customer service I have ever come across! They went above all of our expectations. They would deliver a small gift to us every night and decorations on arrival was lovely too. We had in villa dining as well and that was amazing I did not realise they would set it up as if we were out for dinner in our living room. The breakfast was amazing and the views from the restaurant were just stunning. The villa was out of this world and with the most gorgeous views and every member of staff we met (at the restaurants and bars especially) made sure to remember your name and were just so friendly! It was all the little touches that were just amazing and they really did think of everything. When arriving at the beach or swimming pool they would greet us and bring us complimentary fresh water, towels and mints. Always walking around and checking if we wanted any food or drinks. Oh and not to forget our tour guide in Koh Samui. She was a different girl to the one who picked us up and she was very good!

The Samaya Ubud, Indonesia

Samaya at Ubud was wonderful. The villa was amazing - it really blew us away, the staff were so friendly and there was so much to do in the area. We were so busy with rafting, swimming, cycling, hiking… it was perfect! You probably know they serve complementary afternoon tea which was beautiful and the restaurant there is fantastic also! I cannot sing that places praises enough, it was just wonderful!

SALA Phuket, Thailand

Do you remember we wanted to change Sala Phuket omg how wrong were we, it was only how we can describe as heaven on earth, from the minute we arrived we were treated like royalty. Honestly the beach, the resort and just everything about it was luxury. We were met at every hotel by your company reps and again treated like royalty and the day trips you organised well can I say first class service throughout, they were brilliant.

Paradise Koh Yao, Koh Yao Island, nr Phuket, Thailand

That place is simply amazing. If work wasn’t such an imperative I would have stayed. We both loved every aspect of the place…..so laid back and it never felt busy. It was such a special place embedded in nature that we will go back without question. Our room had the most incredible view across the bay which simply was idyllic! There are so many aspects of the hotel we loved – The staff, the food, the really amazing spa, the beach and the overall vibe of the place. It really was a most special honeymoon – thank you for suggesting Paradise Koh Yao, it certainly lived up to it’s name.

Ti Kaye Resort & Spa, Saint Lucia

Many thanks once again for all your efforts, we had the most fantastic time. Ti Kaye is just something else, a magical place. The food was simply exquisite, I don’t think you could describe it any other way. We did a sunset cruise which was great, and also climbed Gros Piton. My husband also did the deep sea fishing. Otherwise, we just relaxed and made the most of the spa - we went back twice it was the most amazing spa experience that I have ever had – over-looking the ocean at sunset! I really could go on forever – I should have mentioned the staff, they were top notch.

Bequia Beach Hotel, St Vincent & The Grenadines

Well to give you some indication of how our honeymoon was, when we filled in the questionnaire for the hotel, we couldn't score them less than excellent on everything! It was perfect from start to finish!! On arrival at the hotel we were met with a very welcome rum punch before being shown to our room! It was perfect for us, great big bed, fantastic shower room and comfy seating inside and out. It was only 100yards to the pool, bar and restaurant so very easy to access everything. I’d contacted the hotel about 6 weeks before we left to request gluten free bread and goats milk. I took some bread from home with me but I needn’t have bothered as the chef baked me gluten free bread fresh which was gorgeous and better than my offerings! They also supplied goats milk in our room and at breakfast without me having to ask. The food was so good that we ate at the hotel all but 2 nights, although we did have lunch out at different places a few times. There were always options on menu that I knew I could eat and the food was so fresh and tasty. And as for the cocktails...Grant tried most of them I think, I stuck to a few firm favourites, but mostly the lime daiquiri which was amazing! We brought quite a lot of rum home with us having got a real taste for it, so you can bet on Christmas Day all our family will be trying cocktails!! The facilities at the hotel were great, the pool was a nice size with well-placed loungers around it, plenty of space between them though so never felt crowded. We both used the spa, in fact Grant more than me. I had a luxury manicure the day after we arrived and Grant had two massages and a full body scrub. He said it was the best massages he’s ever had, helped by the sound of the waves lapping on the beach a few yards from the spa building. He came back almost horizontal from his last massage which was a 90 min Swedish massage where she also used hot stones. The reception building was just a stones throw from our cottage and the girls in there really couldn’t do enough to help us. They booked a day sailing trip for us down to Tobago Cays which was fantastic... we had a fantastic sail down there with African (boats owner) fishing behind the boat on the way there and catching our lunch which was tuna sashimi followed by BBQ barracuda! You really can’t beat fish when it’s that fresh!! The hotel had also sent bread and goats milk with me. The hotel were also always happy to book us a taxi, and we used the same guy most of the time. While he’s not an employee of the hotel, Jenson was brilliant! I loved Bequia before, and I’m so pleased to say that it didn’t disappoint. Grant has fallen in love with it too, so we’re going to start saving and try to get back for one of our wedding anniversaries! We’ve got some fantastic memories to hold onto of what was a truly magical and memorable honeymoon...simply put, perfection!!! Thank you so much for booking our honeymoon, we couldn’t have found a better destination!

Six Senses Zighy Bay, Oman

What an amazing place! What an amazing holiday! Just thought I would share those thoughts with you! The VIP treatment through Abu Dhabi airport - both ways - was a most welcome treat. Did you or the hotel fix that? The staff at the hotel were wonderful - without exception - and were very well trained and provided a very high level of service. We took advantage of almost every activity the hotel offers. We chartered the dhow - which was a really wonderful day out and when snorkelling, we saw two turtles. I went para gliding - strapped to the instructor - an amazing thing to do but not for everyone. Altogether a great break for the whole family and not one glitch. Look forward to our next trip.

LUX* Le Morne, Mauritius

Flight fine, Transfer good, Hotel amazing, staff amazing, weather amazing, location amazing, food amazing. Absolutely loved it all. Didn't want to return home. Will definitely be revisiting in the future.

Huvafen Fushi, Maldives

We booked our holiday with Michael and Jonti and were so pleased with the service we were given from day one. So professional and informative, we were very grateful for the honest and helpful advice and our honeymoon was just perfect. Huvafen Fushi was the most stunning island, the service, people and facilities (and food) were absolutely phenomenal. Utter perfection from the moment we stepped into Heathrow until the moment we arrived home. Thank you Turquoise, everything you did contributed to the most wonderful experience that we will never forget. From the beautifully presented documents to the keepsake we received when we arrived home. We will use you again for our holidays as you have been the best travel company we have ever used. Thank you!

Hilton Moorea Lagoon, Bora Bora

We've just been on the most amazing honeymoon to Bora Bora and everything ran so smoothly that I can't fault a single thing. The only possible downside was the super long journey but it was definitely worth it when we arrived; we were both speechless upon arrival....the whole island is breathtaking! The staff at the resort were so friendly and attentive, I can't fault them on anything. The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing. Wanted to say a huge thankyou to Lisa for organising such an amazing trip that we'll never forget. Bora Bora is most definitely the most beautiful place I have ever seen and I hope that we can visit again in the future. If we do then I won't hesitate in contacting Lisa at Turquoise again, she was great the whole way through!

Shanti Maurice, Mauritius

Absolutely fantastic honeymoon. The hotel was everything we wanted and more. Quiet, but not too quiet. Small, but not too small. The food was excellent, the staff fantastic, the rum cocktails at sundown were perfect. On the quieter south side of the island, many of the excursions are quite a drive away, but no bother, the hotel with its fantastic spa and excellent beach will mean you won't want or need to leave. I am so pleased we booked with Turquoise, the service that Hannah our Agent and April our Gift List Coordinator gave was 2nd to none, they even helped us move around our excursion schedule via email once we were already in Mauritius. Seamless Honeymoon experience, if only we could do it again!

Banyan Tree Seychelles , Seychelles

Our final resort on our wonderful island hopping in the Seychelles and we could not believe that the best was still to come. After an amazing time at L'Archipel and Domaine D'Orangerie we could not believe how great the Banyan Tree was. Our villa on the hill had the most spectacular views of the bay and island and sitting in our private pool watching the view and seeing local fruit bats soar overhead was a memory not to be forgotten. We had fantastic meals in our villa and the complimentary honeymoon room set up was so romantic. We got to see quite a bit of the beautiful island of Mahe on a tour but in the end it was the villa and views that will live for ever in our memories. We would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to Lisa for an amazing job of organising our very special time in the Seychelles and for being their to help us out whenever we needed it. Elaine and John

Le Domaine De L'Orangeraie, Seychelles

What an amazing resort - what an amazing island. After L'archipel we could not have expected much more and yet we were blown away with the quality and facilities of Le Domaine. The villa was like a tree house built into the mountain and yet had sea views and felt secluded and individual. The wooden bridge across to our own private jacuzzi exceeded our imagination and the only downside was once again the incredible torrential downours and storms. Unusual and unseasonal but it did not spoil our time here......even having to put the umbrella up IN the restaurant one evening! Touring the island by bicycle and finding desolate beaches was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. Elaine & John

Hotel L'Archipel, Seychelles

What a fantastic start to our honeymoon! Arriving early in the morning after a long journey it was so nice to see the amazing beach and scenary at L'Archipel and the welcome cocktail soon swept away any jet lag. Our villa overlooked the beach and was well equipped with everything we needed. Despite the incredbile rain and thunderstorms we experienced there was plenty of sunshine and it was always very warm! Service was great in the resort and it was also a great base to see more of the amazing Praslin island. Elaine & John

General, via Feefo

I have to say all the staff I spoke to were most helpful even when we had slight problems to resolve it was done quickly and efficiently. I almost certainly recommend them to anyone want a first class service as well as a first class holiday. Review submitted via Feefo.

The Oberoi Mauritius, Mauritius

A beautiful hotel and an amazing place to spend the second week of our honeymoon. We had a private pool villa (Lara managed to get us one with a lovely view our over the sea). Having our own pool and garden, we didn't really leave the room much during the day or try out the hotel's two main pools, but these looked very nice. The hotel grounds are beautiful and very well kept. We ate in the main restaurant most nights where the food was fantastic (although not cheap - we were very glad that we were on half board!). The wine list is also very good, although again quite pricey. Cocktails in the bar were very reasonable though and by the end of the week we had managed to work our way through a lot of the list! We didn't manage to eat at On the Rocks - it seemed to get booked up very quickly - when we arrived they only had availability for one night in the next week, which was a shame. Otherwise, the staff were incredibly friendly (we were bowed to wherever we went) and would bring anything to your room at a moment's notice. Overall, we had a really relaxing week (just what we needed at the end of our honeymoon) and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Oberoi.

Sanctury Makanyane Safari Lodge,

After a fantastic flight up from Johannesburg in a light aircraft, we were met on the airstrip by Kaizer, our guide for the three days we had a Makanyane. On the half hour drive to the lodge, we saw elephant, lions, giraffes and several kinds of antelope, which was a great start to our safari! The lodge was superb. Although the common area looked a bit tired and could perhaps do with updating, the rooms themselves were incredible (huge thanks to Lara for managing to get us a room with a great view over the river). Our guide Kaizer was great and we saw a huge range of wildlife on our game drives (leopard and cheetahs being the notable exceptions). One thing you will not be lacking at Makanyane is food - we were constantly being fed and the food itself was delicious. All in all, a fantastic three days!

Le Quartier Francais, Franschhoek,

Arriving at Cape Town after a long flight we were met at the door of the aircraft and escorted through immigration whilst our bags were collected for us - a very luxurious start to our honeymoon and indicative of the great itinerary that Lara put together for us. Our room at Le Quartier Francais was beautiful - much bigger than we had expected from the photos on the hotel's website. The hotel itself was fantastic - friendly and helpful staff, a lovely garden where the pool was and fantastic food. We ate in both the Tasting Room and the Living Room and would highly recommend both. Franschhoek itself is beautiful and we wished we could have stayed longer (so many more vineyards to visit!). It was the perfect start to our honeymoon!

Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, Tahiti

We are just home from the most amazing trip ever; 3 weeks in French Polynesia for our 35th (Coral) Wedding Anniversary. All organised and tailored to our exact requirements by the lovely Lyndsey, at Turquoise. We first used Turquoise Holidays for our Silver Wedding trip to Soneva Gili (now Gili Lankanfushi) in The Maldives and were so impressed by the first class, personal service that the team at Turquoise deliver that we never considered looking anywhere else when planning this special trip, some 10 years on. As a proposed ‘once in a lifetime’ holiday, we were looking to experience many different aspects of French Polynesia in one single visit. Lyndsey suggested a small quiet hotel, on the smaller island of Huahine, to allow us time to recover from the 4 flights and 38 hours of travelling (door to door) from Scotland. We had decided against a stopover in LA as this would have eaten into our precious time in the Society Islands. We chose the Relais Mahana, a charming, traditional ‘pension’ style hotel on the quieter, southern part of the island - Huanine Iti. There are only a handful of bungalows nestled in the most beautiful sandy bay and we were lucky enough to be granted our request of a beachfront bungalow where we literally stepped off our deck onto the white coral sands ……. just 3 metres from the turquoise lagoon. The Relais Mahana was perfect. Excellent traditional ‘Polynesian style’ cooking with the freshest of fish and vegetables on both lunch and dinner menus; a small coral garden, teeming with fish, just under the jetty, and simply - peace, quiet and solitude. An ideal, almost ‘castaway-like’ experience, to start off our adventure. Four days of rest and relaxation later, we are picked up at the Relais Mahana jetty by Tahiti Yacht Charters’ captain, Manu. Manu is to be our captain and also our tour guide for the week. His knowledge and enthusiasm for these islands is beyond impressive. We spend the next 7 days aboard a luxury 40’ catamaran, visiting some of the most beautiful spots in the Society Islands. This company specialises in ‘romantic’ yacht charter packages. We had an extensive detailed itinerary from 8am to sunset each day. We swam with sharks, we fed stingray and dived with mantaray, we snorkelled in coral gardens boasting the largest collection of tropical fish we have ever seen. And swam in shallow lagoons – the most dazzling shade of turquoise. We paddle-boarded, we kayaked, we floated in sea hammocks. We hiked through a jungle, we visited a vanilla plantation and even enjoyed a complimentary couples spa treatment at a luxury hotel on a nearby motu. But above all, we enjoyed the most amazing cuisine every single day, all prepared by Lei, our hostess. Lei skilfully prepared every meal from scratch from the tiny galley with as much expertise as any chef in any fine French restaurant. We would highly recommend this sailing trip to anyone visiting French Polynesia. It’s a definite bucket list item, this one! Week 3 and we are dropped off at what has to be the most beautiful place on this planet …. The Four Seasons, Bora Bora. Never in our lives have we visited somewhere that looks better in real life than in travel brochures and postcards. But Four Seasons way exceeded our expectations, on all counts. Once again, Turquoise had noted on our reservation that this was a special occasion, anniversary trip. We were left absolutely speechless when Federico took us to our bungalow; we had been given a complimentary upgrade to one of the huge water bungalows with it’s own plunge pool at the end of the jetty. I cried!! Situated on one of the outer motus, facing the imposing Mt Otemanu, - in the centre of this stunning coral island, we can already see why The Four Seasons, Bora Bora has repeatedly won awards for being the ultimate destination in the whole wide world. The lagoon is more than 50 shades of blue. The Four Seasons staff are the most courteous, gracious people ever.

Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa, Seychelles

Thank you so much to Ruth for making our dream Honeymoon a reality. We had a fantastic time in the Seychelles, with your recommendations we stayed in two beautiful hotels and had a wonderful time. You were always on hand during the planning stage with new ideas and enthusiasm for our Honeymoon. Thanks again Oli and Hannah Owen, Shropshire.

SALA Phuket, Thailand

Michelle, thank you for the recommendation to stay at SALA Phuket. SALA has a beautiful design and overall the villa layout (with private pool and outdoor bath area) and decor were excellent. The beach was right there and was pristine. Hotel transfers with Exotissimo were great and also the flights and travel schedule with Thai Airways. It was a wonderful visit to Thailand

Tamarind Village, Thailand

We booked our honeymoon through Lisa at Turquoise and had the most fabulous time! After many emails and phone calls back and forth with Lisa we finally settled on Thailand and spent 4 nights at the Tamarind Village in Chiang Mai and then 10 nights in the Aleenta Hui Hin. The whole trip was incredible and both resorts we're amazing but the Aleenta was our favourite, there are no words to describe how beautiful and tranquil it is there, to wake up in the morning and watch the sunrise over the sea from your bed was fantastic! None of this would have been possible without the help from Lisa from start to finish she provided a superb service and we are so grateful! Also a big thank you to April for helping us with our honeymoon gift list! Thank you both for making our honeymoon the most amazing and memorable experience! We will be booking through you guys again soon! Many Thanks Darren & Sarah Lockwood

Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Malaysia

Vahine Island , Tahiti

Lisa organised a great trip for us to celebrate our 25th Wedding anniversary. Each island offered something different. The highlight of our holiday has to be Vahine Island. A magical place, the place is a true Paradise enhanced by the service provided by every one there. Luxury and service with a view that was breath taking together with the most amazing food what more could we aske for. highly recommend

Banyan Tree Bangkok, Thailand

What an amazing trip. You chose two excellent hotels! The Banyan Tree in Bangkok was really nice, good location and excellent breakfast buffet. The hotel is a little jaded but it makes up in excellent service. The vertigo bar at the top of the hotel was excellent. Good pick up service and drop off service. Friendly company and good vehicle. No complaints. If I were to go back to Bangkok (which I will) I would stay at the Banyan Tree again if there was a good deal. The flights were planned very well too and I cannot complain about Bangkok airways. Good timings. We got into Male at a good time. And the plane that took us to Kandhoo was good too.The distance of the island is not a problem. Makes you feel even more that you are venturing to a Robinson Crusoe style place! Lara - great choice of a hotel in Maldives. We are so glad you pushed us for the Six Senses. What a place! Six Senses Laamu was a great experience! We had already stayed at some top 5* hotels on our way to the Maldives and this was the icing on the cake! The moment you arrive you are welcomed by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Love the idea of the cycles to get around and the GEM idea is really good too. Not once did we wear shoes on the island. amazing! The spa was amazing! Great deal on the 50 minute massage! The location and turquoise blue waters are visually stunning and the villas are just very well made and thought out. Lara the food was simply amazing! Every day the food was unique and the seafood was super fresh and well made. The main restaurant manager was always accommodating and helpful - even giving us the humus recipe which was rather delicious!Excellent idea of giving free ice cream to your guests! Wonderful! Overall Lara you were really helpful, planned the trip really well and you even informed Emirates it was our honeymoon???? They gave us a few glasses of champagne, chocolate and a small cake on our flight from Male to DXB. Awesome service!!!! We will defo be using Turquoise again and recommending you as their travel advisor.
