InterContinental Resort & Thalasso Spa, Tahiti

Lyndsey was a star! Our honeymoon was AMAZING and we were so impressed with the service we received and all the little touches. We started off in Moorea, a beautiful hidden gem of French Polynesia. Arriving felt like the start of Jurassic Park with the lush green mountain growing bigger and bigger as we got closer. The Hilton was out of this world, fab service, best spot on the island and just all round beautiful. The people on the island are the nicest and the snorkelling is outstanding. Definitely go and explore, it won't disappoint! Bora Bora...well, what a place! The sea is unlike anything and really is a once in a lifetime destination. If you like your snorkelling, go to the Coral Garden it is well worth the visit. Actually, spend as much time as you can in the water because the marine life is INSANE! I won't lie and say it isn't expensive as it 100% is so be prepared to dig into your pockets whilst you are there. Is it worth it though? Yes! Word of advice too, never check the weather app as Bora Bora is a sassy diva and she will just do what she wants. We were fortunate to stay in both InterContinental's and upgrading to the Thalasso was the best move we did. If you are a foodie like me, dine at the Le Corai there, the Wagu beef was delish. The Diamond Otemanu Villa was HUGE and had the most wonderful views of Mt Otemanu. Watching the sunset on our deck, sipping a cold glass of wine is an absolute highlight. Thanks again to Lyndsey for putting on such an epic trip!

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge, South Africa

Makanyane was the most amazing experience, from the moment we arrived at the airstrip we were greeted and looked after like royalty. Our tour guide was fantastic and all the staff were so friendly and attentive. The safari exceeded our expectations and we got up close to lions, elephants and within 2 metres of a wild cheetah! What made it so special was that we were usually the only vehicle around any sighting, with the odd occasion having 1 or 2 others, which added to the excitement. Also the food and drink was exquisite and we got to try a lot of the local meats. Our only regret was not being able to sleep out under the stars as it rained that afternoon, so we already want to book another trip back to experience this!

Constance Ephelia , Seychelles

We had a wonderful anniversary holiday in the Seychelles. We loved every minute. Michelle was awesome. She sorted everything for us. She took away all the hassle and all we basically had to do was turn up! She looked after us all the way through the process. And the little extra gestures such as the holiday document folder, matching luggage labels and the little welcome home gift when we got back all made us feel very cared for. We won’t hesitate to recommend the Turquoise Holiday Company and will certainly use them again.

The Ritz Carlton, Langkawi , Malaysia

Booked with Fiona Sutherland (who’s name does not show in the list?) who was fab! We loved the options she provided and the detail as well. Fiona answered any questions and helped when we considered extending the trip as well. The whole process was very easy and we will definitely be in touch for future trips! The Ritz Carlton in Langkawi was peaceful, gorgeous sunset and lovely food. The staff were very kind and helped with any recommendations we wanted. The room was beautiful and the Horizon Bar possibly the best sunset we have seen. Loved it and was sad to leave!

COCOS Hotel, Antigua

“Making your way in the world today, takes everything you got. Taking a break from all your worries, it sure would help a lot. Wouldn't you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name.” These lyrics from the “Cheers” theme song is 100% in line with Cocos Hotel, and I was singing it to myself for the entirety of our trip. Each and every staff member knew us on a first name basis, and my husband and I felt like we made 20 new friends on our Honeymoon. Everyone was so warm, welcoming and genuine – it was incredible. As for the resort itself, WOW! I had asked Lizzie for something that would suit both my husband and I (he prefers to sleep in the woods, and my idea of camping is a 3-star hotel), and she really knocked it out of the park with Cocos Hotel. Beautiful single cottages nestled into a hill overlooking the Caribbean Sea, with a private deck and outdoor shower. Absolute. Paradise. We enjoyed kayaking (provided by Cocos) through the bay, our (complimentary!) 30 min massages, and champagne dinner (so romantic – the outdoor restaurant is incredible!). On a misty morning, we took a cab ($40 USD r/t) to St John’s and enjoyed some duty-free shopping in Heritage Quay and Redcliffe Quay, along with a visit to the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda, and a drive by Saint John’s Cathedral. On the Sunday night of our trip, we took the Cocos shuttle to Shirley Heights for the steel drum orchestra party (this happens every Sunday! $22 USD/person r/t for the shuttle and $10 USD/person entry fee). It was a bit of a cloudy/rainy morning/afternoon that day, but we got to overlook English Harbor and see the sun set between the clouds into the sea, while we danced for over two hours. Caribbean music at its finest! In addition, we met a very nice beach vendor while at Cocos, who was a small boat captain (and also a fisherman! We purchased a lobster lunch from him, and it was phenomenal!), and we took a private ride to Cades Reef for some snorkeling. A second lobster lunch was also included in the boat price! We’re already talking about our five year anniversary trip back to Cocos. I hope all of our new friends will still be there :)

Constance Moofushi, Maldives

We booked our Honeymoon in the Maldives with Marina after our first honeymoon plans we made elsewhere fell through. What can we say... it was a blessing in disguise, Marina helped us arrange the most perfect holiday. The Maldives did not disappoint, the hotel, food, staff, excursions and surroundings were unbelievable. This has been the best holiday of our lives and we have left with the most wonderful memories. We can't thank Marina enough and this won't be the last time we book a trip with Turquoise! Thank you again so much.

The Oberoi Beach Resort, Al Zorah, Ajman

Booked with Marina (not on the list) - The hotel was one of the most comfortable we have stayed in. The staff were absolutely charming. The food was delicious. Hotel was scrupulously clean. Lovely gardens. Pool was extra long 85 metres. A little windy at times. Wine was v expensive. We rented a car and drove for the day down to Abu Dhabi to see the Louvre and grand mosque. A very relaxing holiday! Thank you.

The Datai, Malaysia

Cant recommend Turquoise Holidays more highly - professional and knowledgeable from start to finish without any sales pressure. Thanks to Carl for all his patience and guidance we spent the most glorious holiday staying at the Datai on Langkawi. Every aspect was perfect - our accommodation hidden in the rainforest, the beautiful beach with clear sea for swimming, the choice of delicious food and the nature walks. Amazing friendly service. Only one problem - next time convince us to stay longer Carl! Thank you so much.

Anahita Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius

I was aware of the Turquoise brand through various travel magazines and via recommendation of two friends who'd booked their honeymoons with you, but hadn't considered enquiring about family holidays with you before. I really wish I had - it was the most tailored, personable and flawless service I have ever experienced through a travel company. Our consultant Sharon really took the time to understand our brief and budget, but also provided great advice and insight into destinations and resorts we hadn't previously considered. She totally nailed it - we chose Dubai and Mauritius as a dual destination holiday in the school summer holidays - the flights and resorts recommended suited us perfectly, with it resulting in us having the best holiday we've ever had as a family and treasured memories that will last a lifetime. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Turquoise as a holiday company, but it was Sharon who made it the first class, refreshing service that it was. Thank you once again.

Six Senses Laamu, Maldives

This is a resort that wants you to have a great time, and that’s actually quite a rare thing. Big enough to accommodate couples and children (what an amazing kids club, with wonderful, caring ladies doing such creative and varied activities (marine biologist talks, chicken egg collecting, blind ice cream tasting, turtle coconut shell making etc etc). Food was exceptional made all the more special when you know how remote you are. Staff were very polite and friendly. We’d definitely recommend staying there and can not recommend the sunset dolphin cruise and private island picnic excursion enough - bucket list stuff.

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge, South Africa

We LOVED Makanyane. When we arrived, the lodge was fairly full - 14 out of 16 max visitors - but it never felt crowded. After the first day, the five in our party - were the ONLY people there, for the rest of the week. We were looked after like queens and kings. I'm sure it would have been just as good with a full house, but it felt super-special to be outnumbered 4:1 by the staff. We were looked after brilliantly. From the 5am wake-up call - ever-so-gentle knocking - to 5.30am breakfast to the first drive to brunch at 9.30 to high tea at 3.30 to the afternoon drive to dinner - AMAZING. Lynette was a brilliant host, Mauritz an amazing chef, Reuben a brilliant guide in the bush. Makanyane is a real gem - the place, the people, the animals. We "bagged" four of the big five, nine of the magnificent ten: black and white rhinos, lions, cheetah, elephants, hippos (in the river outside our web address), hyenas, etc. etc. Reuben was like a brilliant DJ, peaking with five rhinos or three lions or a cheetah and then letting us absorb gently during drives through the brilliant, amazing countryside before showing us something else. Yes, it's about chance and what you stumble upon, but it's also about judging the mood, where to go and when to go where. From mid-drive coffee laced with Amarula to sundowner G&Ts with local snack, it was all just perfect. Great, refreshing pool. Amazing rooms with first-class AC. An one mosquito bite between five people. No malaria zone. And since we didn't see a leopard, we HAVE to return. Lynette's motto is "don't send friends and family - BRING them". Self-serving, of course, but quite right. Without doubt the best, most engaging, most absorbing holiday we have EVER had. Oh, and Chris and the Turquoise team rocked, too.

InterContinental Le Moana Resort, Bora Bora, Tahiti

I just do not think a review will do our trip even the slightest bit of justice. Visiting Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora and Rangiroa was a dream come true but it literally surpassed any dream i had about it. Nothing can explain the beauty and serenity of French Polynesia it was everything and more and i truly feel i left a little piece of me behind. I do not think anything will ever come close to the sights we saw, my eyes saw everything in HD and it felt like reality was photo shopped at every turn. Aside from the amazing destination our travel consultant Tom was an exceptionally dedicated and hard working employee of Turquoise for whom nothing was ever any trouble. I wish i had a a Tom to organise my day to day life!!! Any call was received well or returned promptly and emails were always answered with fine attention to detail with my needs being considered and taken into account every step of the way. The presentation of everything was totally impeccable and Tom is an asset to Turquoise and a complete credit to them. His knowledge and advice was nothing short of fantastic. In summary both the destination and Turquoise holidays especiallyTom i cannot recommend enough it was perfection. There were some irritating parts of our trip but based around lounge provision at LAX and upgrade arrangements with Air Tahiti Nui but travel arrangements aside business class with Air NZ and also outbound Air Tahiti in their business cabin on an almost brand new dream liner come highly recommended, lay flat beds surely the only way to travel. Thanks Turquoise, thanks Tom and thank you French Polynesia and LA you were perfection.

Dream Yacht Charter - By The Cabin Cruises - British Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands

Our trip was a blast! It was our first time doing a week long charter. We were happy we got the larger boat (Lagoon 620) because there was extra room on it. We enjoyed falling asleep every night to the rocking of the waves. We loved going to a new place every day and even though we have been to the BVI before we still discovered beautiful new spots too. The group that we were with was great. We were nervous at first because we weren’t going to know anyone but we were pleasantly surprised. We all got along well and enjoyed learning about everyone’s life stories. The captain was also great and professional as well as our chef. I’ll miss falling asleep to the rocking of the waves, the scenery, and the overall adventure of it all. We would definitely do another one!

Lewa Wilderness, Kenya

We can’t thank Lyndsey and her team a Turquoise enough for helping us to organise our dream honeymoon. Lyndsey really listened to what we wanted and recommended some beautiful places to stay, whilst keeping to the budget we had set. The whole trip was seamless from start to finish, with one small problem that Turquoise went above and beyond to sort out straight away. We really did have the most incredible two weeks and I can’t recommend the places we stayed enough, everywhere we went was just magical. Thank you so much and we will certainly be using your services again in the future.

Velassaru, Maldives

Fiona was an absolute star in helping us arrange our trip to Velassaru. We don’t use usually use a travel agent but we were glad we did in this case. Velassaru itself was amazing and we would recommend it and Turquise Holidays to anyone!

Velassaru, Maldives

A truly wonderful holiday in paradise! From the moment Yasmin sent through the itinerary, we spent months dreaming of the winter sun in the Maldives. This was one holiday where a dream became reality. We arrived at the resort by speedboat and were taken to our beach villa that, as its name suggests, opened onto our own sliver of sandy beach fringed by palm trees and lush vegetation. The bars and restaurants at the resort were all excellent, particularly the Chill bar, with magnificent views of the sunset over the Indian Ocean. Every member of staff was professional whilst being warm and friendly and the service was impeccable. It would be impossible to find fault with the holiday other than it was too short! Based on our experience, we wouldn't hesitate to book again with Turquoise.

Ol Seki Hemingways Mara Camp, Kenya

In short, we would like to say a big Thank You to Tessa for organizing such an amazing trip for us! Honestly, we have no words to describe how perfect it was from the beginning till the end. We completely fell in love with Africa and already dreaming about coming back there! As we were extremely curious about Africa, Nairobi turned out to be a very interesting to visit. Our biggest finding was that all people we met turned out extremely friendly to us. We managed to visit visit the Giraffe Centre, Elephants Orphanage, Karen Blitz museum and even carved out some time for a tour in Kibera (the biggest slums in East Africa). Our stay in Karen Gables was very pleasant: it felt like home, as we were welcomed so well by their incredibly attentive personnel there. In short, it is a beautiful and calm place to rest after a busy day in Nairobi, with amazing African interior. As Evgeny was a bit sick after London, they made the fire for us and prepared a fresh ginger tea with honey! On our next stop, the safari experiences was just unbelievable! We could have even imagined that Ol Seki camp would be so spacious and beautiful. Living in the middle of a bush, and hearing all the different noises of animals, which we could even recognize after couple of days :), is more than we had expected. And, of course, all the game drives were just unbeatable: we saw many animals and learned a lot about them from our guides; also, every single drive was unlike the previous one as we were trying to spot a different animal every time! The personnel and all services were also of the highest standards: they kept surprising us all the time with different perks and activities. We also were lucky enough to catch a real African sunset, which was so exactly like in “The Lion King” movie, just unbelievable! We really wish to come back one day! And of course, our final stay in Zanzibar was exactly what we needed after our safari activities (even though we did not feel tired after such a great experience). I’d be fair to say that Zuri hotel beat all our expectations! Beautiful white and long private beach, full of palm trees, turquoise water and a beautifully designed interior: modern and yet rustic! We really did not want to leave that place, as everything was just perfect: people, dining experience, different honey moon perks (e.g. secret lunch at the beach, dinner at the beach, etc). They do really try to be the best on the island and we honestly think that they deserve this status! We hope we will be able to come back one day, as we decided not to do a lot of tours in Zanzibar, since we had so much fun in the hotel (they even have their own spice garden!), so next time we will discover more. Once again, thanks for arranging everything for us and for making sure that everything was smooth. We had such a wonderful time, and our honey moon will be in our memories and hearts for a very long time!

Velassaru, Maldives

Carolyn helped us booking a lovely holiday at Velassaru in the Maldives and Anantara Peace Haven in Sri Lanka. Very professional and friendly service, with timely responses to our questions. We had 2 wonderful weeks and look forward booking our upcoming holidays with Carolyn at Turqoise.

The Sarojin, Thailand

This place was amazing. the resort was exactly what it was like in the pictures. pure greenery and well maintained. The rooms and restaurants etc had the most amazing small touches, (like the citronella spray provided, The kettle always full, so you can boil straight away etc). The pool residence room, was bliss, so nice, amazing space. The beach was so long, had a few resturants on there serviing the best traditioanl thai food we had had all trip, and was so cheap. The Sarojin restaurant - the breakfast, was the best we have ever had, the fact its like a buffet a la carte type, was great, but the detail and quality of the food and the way it was presented was exquisite. Almost like a Michelin star restaurant, the service and attention was so good and the unlimited food and drink was a huge bonus. Especially as it meant you didn't really need lunch or to snack during the day. On our penultimate night, Jenny the front desk manager rang us and asked if wanted to get a free room upgrade to the spa suite with the living room and jucuzzi outside on the balcony. She said she had tried to look for us all over the resort and manage to save it for us. It was so nice of her and a touch we were so grateful for. We were lucky enough to experience that room for the last night of our honeymoon and it really ended the trip well.

Elephant Hills Tented Jungle Camps, Thailand

Elephants hills - this was one of our highlights of our trip. Purely because its not often you get to wash, feed, and play with the elephants. the location was stunning, the elephants got treated so well, and we had so much fun there. The camp itself was abit like glamping, had everything you need. Moving on to the floating camp was so cool, and so nice. viewing the sheer size of the dam and lake was astonishing. When we arrived at the camp we decided against the hike, so just wanted to swim and canoe around the lake, it was so nice and so refreshing, chilled and calm. Our tour guide Bua, was so lovely, and so attentive, her customer service really enhanced the experience as well as many of the guests we met here.

Constance Halaveli , Maldives

Tessa booked the honeymoon of our dreams! She was extremely efficient, helpful and friendly. Nothing was ever too much to ask. We would definitely book future holidays through Tessa again.

The Surin, Thailand

Our holiday was absolutely amazing Carl – Thank you so much! Amna and myself were discussing this and we really do think this was our nicest holiday to date. We went to Labriz, Seychelles with yourselves for our honeymoon and that was amazing too with a lovely big plunge pool villa, but overall we think this Thailand trip surpassed that! The Surin resort itself was really something special. Even though our cottage was higher up, it was in amongst the palm trees and lush tropics and was beautifully appointed with lots of space and lovely touches. For example, the huge wardrobe area with so much space for hanging clothes and lots of drawer space and shelves up high for putting suitcases away out of sight. The steep climb wasn’t ever an issue as the staff were kind enough to take us to our room in a buggy whenever needed! Coming down the stairs to the breakfast and beach was absolutely fine too. We were located right next door to the amazing spa so that was handy as we treated ourselves a couple of times with even little Isha getting in on the act with a relaxing massage! It was great they allow children to come in and enjoy it too. We tended to come down for breakfast with our beach bag and after breakfast relax at the pool or beach all day with pool side dining, and head back up to the room near sundown, so we didn’t have to go backwards and forwards to the room. The staff are the nicest we have encountered to date and genuinely seemed to care about us and there other guests. We got to know many on first name basis as well. I was well taken care of with my nut allergy so was able to properly relax and enjoy the food. Amna and I really felt the food was absolutely fantastic. On Amna’s birthday, I went for the special beach romantic candlelit dinner for the 3 of us, and we had the whole beach to ourselves! They had laid a beautiful table for us surrounded by candles in a large heart shape and Amna was really taken aback as were Isha and I! That was a really special evening and the 3 course dinner was just sublime. The chef had specially prepared some amazing dishes for us which were just unbelievable. The dining in general was first class. We tried all of their restaurants and had breakfast every day as well as lunch at poolside and they were all fantastic. There was also a chill out games room / library where Isha liked a wee game of pool which was good fun. The beach was very special too and the Andaman sea waters were warm and turquoise and picture perfect. The scene looked liked something from the photos we see of the Maldives. The waves could get a touch big for Isha depending on the time of day so we had to be careful and split our time between the lovely Pool and beach. The fact that it was a private beach made it so quiet and extra special as the hotel hosted the Christmas events there. The Christmas dinner buffet was set at pool side with a live Violin linked to a DJ, beautiful lighting, and such amazing food presented so stunningly. We had an amazing Christmas meal. There was a beach BBQ in a Bohemian theme a few days after Christmas which was even better which was hard to believe! There were even Fire Entertainers brought in! Every type of nice food you could think of was provided, eg: Sushi, scallops, prawns, bbq’d seafood, calamari, mussels, wagyu beef prime rib, wagyu rive eye and tomahawk steaks…etc. Sorry for the long email but hopefully you can see we really loved our trip, the resort, the staff and the Thai people in general and would highly recommend the Surin for anyone looking to go to Thailand.

Amorita Resort, Philippines

Tom was great as was Caroline, we had a long trip with lots of places to visit and things went smoothly, hotels were great and the service from turquoise was excellent, we are based in Nottingham and did everything remotely with no issues at all. Thanks to all the team.

Blue Waters Resort & Spa, Antigua

We had an amazing time, Blue Waters was a fantastic resort and we were upgraded to the Cove Suites and had prosecco on ice awaiting our arrival in the room which was a lovely surprise. The staff went out of their way to help you. The sailing course was well run and great fun despite a couple of days of stormy weather and I would recommend On Deck. The room at the Inn was stunning with a beautiful veranda and perfect location for Shirley Heights and Nelsons Dockyard. All in all we had a fabulous time and would be very happy to use Turquoise again in the future. Thanks for all your hard work organising our trip, we really appreciate it.

Sable Alley, Botswana

Tessa was very friendly and professional and arranged just the perfect honeymoon for us. Unforgettable and we look forward to booking with Turqoise again. Alex & Sarah

One&Only Reethi Rah, Maldives

The resort was out of this world, the service, the food, the staff. Our accommodation was beautiful. The whole island was stunning, most of the time we felt we had the island to ourselves it truly was a paradise island. The attention to detail that has gone into this resort makes it the way it is. I am so glad we chose this special place to celebrate our 25th Wedding anniversary. Thank you Lizzie for all your help and information with the booking procedure.

LUX* Le Morne, Mauritius

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 week honeymoon in South Africa and Mauritius. Tessa's recommendations and tips were fantastic. All accommodation was exactly as we wanted and we had an unforgettable time. Highly recommended.

OZEN by Atmosphere, Maldives

We had a brilliant time! The place is absolutely stunning and the service at Ozen is 1st class, they really go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. Unfortunately we had really bad weather most of the week we were there, it was stormy and rained a lot... because of the high winds everyday all of the excursions were cancelled and all the snorkelling trip which we were gutted about. Just really bad luck, we did have a couple of days where a few hours were nice but the wind never really died down enough to do any trips. We were so glad we were in the beach villa and particularly the one with no pool because the other side of the island got the most wind so we ended up being shielded from it! The place itself is absolutely stunning, all the restaurants and choices of food was more than we hoped for, the all inclusive is really all inclusive! There wasn’t a point in the week where we felt anything extra was being sold to us, we decided to pay for a dive so we could go on the reef (in absence of snorkelling) which was amazing. The spa treatments that were included were also great so we felt the whole package really included everything we needed. The manager gave us an additional spa treatment on our last day as he knew we were so disappointed about all the trip cancellations which was a nice gesture. The underwater restaurant is a real indulgence, the food was amazing! Also the choice of wine and just the service in general was outstanding!

Conrad Bora Bora Nui , Tahiti

We always knew we wanted to go to Bora Bora for our honeymoon, after finding Turquoise on Google we made an initial inquiry (way too early to get a price for when we wanted to go) and Lyndsey was so accommodating, especially compared to some other travel agencies to looked at. She gave us a quote for the package we ended up booking so we knew and approximate budget we needed. When the time came round that we could book, we didn't hesitate to get back in touch with Lyndsey, she updated the quote with the up to date rates and offers, gave us prices for upgrading flights and we booked as soon as we could. She made the whole process easy, so it made the honeymoon one less stress during the wedding planning. We couldn't fault the hotels - Hilton Moorea and Conrad Bora Bora Nui, however my advice to anyone looking at going to Moorea and Bora Bora is, have more days at the Conrad, its a different class of hotel. At the Hilton Moorea we had better sunrises, the landscape is more dramatic and the wildlife in the lagoon is more varied, so its definitely worth visiting. The Conrad Bora Bora Nui however, is levels above in terms of quality, we stayed in an overwater bungalow, the rooms are perfect, the restaurants and food are amazing and the staff couldn't be more helpful. In hindsight I would have preferred a few nights on Moorea and the rest on Bora Bora, it is just paradise. I'd also add Laura was amazing sorting out our honeymoon gift list and booking our excursions, I think she has since left the company but wanted to give her a special mention.

Harbour Rocks Hotel, Australia

We booked our honeymoon with Stuart and without a doubt would use Turquoise again. We had a 3 week honeymoon in Australia travelling from Sydney to Noosa, Hamilton Island and then onto Thala beach reserve just north of Cairns. We crammed a lot in to a short time but it was so well organised that at no point did it feel rushed. Unlike other companies we enquired with we didn’t feel like we were paying a huge premium for the service, even before we left I felt comfortable with the pricing and then whilst on holiday I can honestly say they exceeded my expectations greatly. Every detail had been covered, trips and excursions we had booked through Stuart and through Laura with our gift list were all arranged and we had a very handy itenary sent to us, showing all our flights, transfers, hotels, trips for each day, we had to think about nothing. The planning process was excellent - Stuart answered every email answering the most ridiculous of questions and was alway prompt with responses to the huge amount of queries I sent, I cannot thank him enough for putting up with me! I hope we have an excuse sometime soon for another holiday and would certainly enquire with Turquoise again.

InterContinental Resort & Thalasso Spa, Tahiti

We booked our hooneymoon with Lyndsey to Moorea and Bora Bora and I still cannot believe the level of service we received. Lyndsey made flying half way round the world so simple and stress free. The whole hooneymoon was planned down to a tee completely by Lyndsey. Nothing was oversold and it certainly exceeded our expectations! All of the flights, transfers, hotels and excursions were seamless and even had some fantastic surprises along the way. I have already recommended Turquoise and Lyndsey to many friends and colleagues and would love to make use of their services again. Thank you again so much for designing and executing the best hooneymoon we could have asked for :). 10/10.

Le Domaine De L'Orangeraie, Seychelles

La Digue was such a fun island to stay on. Our lodging was in a garden villa with easy access to the restaurants, beach, and pool. The pool had amazing views of the sunset which sometimes reflected off the still water of the pool. Renting bikes was fun and easy and exploring the island on them was even better. The hotel made it easy to get you from the ferry to the hotel. The grounds on the property was very nice. The beach located on the property was nice and calm.

InterContinental Le Moana Resort, Bora Bora, Tahiti

We had a fantastic experience booking our Honeymoon to French Polynesia thanks to Lyndsey and the team at The Turquoise Holiday Company. Not only was the booking process stress free (especially as we booked 3 different hotels over 2 separate islands) it also simplified our travel greatly with the use of our voucher book which was sent from Turquoise. From the smallest detail of a tailored Turquoise luggage tag to being greeted at each hotel with Champagne everything was planned to perfection. I am highly recommending Turquoise to all that I speak with and look forward to booking with them again in the future...

Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort, Mauritius

It was very good holiday excellent service excellent people I could highly recommend it to anyone I will definitely be going back again yasmim done excellent job organising a special birthday treat Chris

Constance Prince Maurice, Mauritius

We booked this trip for our honeymoon and everything was perfect. Tessa was so helpful with advice when I was looking at the different options for the honeymoon which really helped to be confident we were making the best choice. I have found Turquoise very thoughtful, including sending all the documents through in the post before our departure, which just meant one less thing to worry about before the wedding. The trip itself was incredible, the hotel was amazing and staff all very accommodating and happy to help with any question. We felt very well looked after. Would recommend Turquoise and their services to everyone looking for an unforgettable holiday.

LUX* Belle Mare, Mauritius

We have had the most wonderful holiday we could have ever imagined thanks to Melissa. She was so kind & intuitive from the word go and seemed to totally understand our needs as a family. It made the whole process such a joy. I can't tell you how much I appreciated her patience and knowledge. We chose Lux Belle Mare, Mauritius and it was absolute perfection. We honestly couldn't have had a better holiday and knowing that we were in Turquoise's safe hands (with Melissa's exceptional organisational skills) made everything totally dreamy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Turquoise Holidays to any of our friends and are so pleased that we booked with you. A million thanks!

Zawadi Hotel, Zanzibar

From start to finish Marcha was one of the most pleasant and efficient agents who has ever dealt with any of my travel arrangements. The Zawadi had everything we had expected. The whole complex allowed complete privacy if required, but the friendliness and efficiency of ALL staff made us feel part of the Zawadi 'family' very quickly. Comfort, service, and food throughout our 10 night stay reflected the Zawadi's top rating. Would love to go back some day.

LUX* Belle Mare, Mauritius

Booked with Emilie Mariaux Thank you very much for organising our Honeymoon staying at Lux in Belle Mare in Mauritius (18th- 30th June) We particularly enjoyed receiving the tickets in a handy travel bag and the thank you present when we arrived home! We had a wonderful stay at this very luxurious hotel. Highly recommend it for a relaxing beach honeymoon. The facilities are spacious and modern and the staff are highly attentive and focused on ensuring that you have a perfect stay. The 5 restaurants and food on offer is varied and incredibly tasty! The beach is white sands and turquoise sea and a very short walk to a sun lounger! A Perfect Honeymoon! Couldn't recommend using Turquoise more for a wonderful Holiday!

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge, South Africa

It was our dream to go on a Safari and we thought if we don't do it for our honeymoon it may never happen. We found Turquoise online and it was so lucky that we did! I can't imagine a package being more tailored to our needs and requirements than the one Stuart made for us. From the very first conversation it felt like we were speaking to the right person to book our dream holiday and so it turned out, the 2 destinations we had were perfect in every way but nothing will ever top the Safari game drives.. wow! Given it was our honeymoon we wanted as little stress and worry as possible and Turquoise gave us this and more.. everything down to the finest details were taken care of. Any questions we had prior to going were responded to swiftly, no matter how silly they ultimately were. We honestly can't recommend your services enough to anyone wanting to book a dream holiday, thank you so much for all of your help (:

LUX* South Ari Atoll, Maldives

We booked our honeymoon with Caroline, It was the best holiday of our lives recommended by herself our hotel in the Maldives, lovely service and amazing views. Couldn’t of been happier and so helpful as we extended another night in Dubai which Caroline sorted for us : ) Thank you so much for all your help will defiantly be recommending you!

Six Senses Laamu, Maldives

Thank you so much Antony for all your help organizing our honeymoon trip to Six Senses Maldives! We absolutely loved the hotel and decided to extend our stay there. We had great weather what is supposed to be low season so we werw very lucky. We had a beautiful overwater bungalow and could see turtles and mantas swimming in front of our villa. Our daughter loved glass bathtub with glass bottom so she could look at fishes while having a bath. Staff was very friendly and kind. Our daughter loved kids club with various activities. There is a free ice cream bar with 42 flavours which we had to visit every day and lovely little gym to work it off after. Most of fitness classes are charged little fee( around 25usd) . at the time of our visit they had a very good physio which we can highly recommend. Nice happy hour at beach bar 4-5pm. And excelent Japanese restaurant and brekfast! The only downside is that to get to resort you need to take domestic flight and boat ride. Domestic flight times are limited so you can end up waiting gor long time in Male in a busy and not so great lounge. We had 5hours on the way back. The boat transfer can be a bit bumpy especially in this season when very windy. Overall we had a wonderful time and would love to go back in future! Thanks again!

LUX* Belle Mare, Mauritius

Laura was very helpful throughout the planning of our honeymoon. No question was silly and she was very knowledgeable. She found us the perfect destination within our budget.

OZEN by Atmosphere, Maldives

Turquoise helped us organise a fantastic honeymoon earlier this year. Antony was super helpful and responsive throughout the process (even when we made last minute changes). It was great to hear open and honest views of the different islands and the experience they offer. We had a great time!

The H Resort, Beau Vallon Beach, Seychelles

Amazing. Just what we needed after 4 days on safari in South Africa. Luxurious accommodation. Excellent staff. Great food - especially the tepanyake experience at seyshima and the food at Trader Vic’s. We will definitely be back.

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge, South Africa

Amazing! Luxurious accommodation, Michelin star quality food, the most friendly staff who really go above and beyond to make the stay comfortable, excellent safari guide (Jacques). We wouldn’t change a single thing about it. Experience of a lifetime. We will definitely be going back.

Jumby Bay Island, Antigua

The island is a complete retreat. No money, no keys, no stress, amazing staff (and I mean amazing staff!) where nothing is too much trouble. We felt guilty asking to be honest but they were all great. Thanks again for all of your help. Everything went really smoothly from start to finish.

Soori Bali (formerly Alila), Indonesia

We have not departed for our holiday as yet, however, I would like to state right now, just how helpful, informative and thoroughly professional Tracie has been in all her endeavours to help us book our honeymoon. OK, it is unusual to provide a review with our departure some time away, but Tracie deserves an accolade here for some extremely important suggestions - even assisting us in avoiding a naive mistake which may have seen our honeymoon play out in the eye of a hurricane! Thanks Tracie... Tim

Six Senses Laamu, Maldives

Rachel was very efficient with our booking from the beginning. She listened to our concerns such as flight times and school holidays and she was able to accommodate our requests. I usually don't book though travel agents but doing so actually made my life easier and the added benefit of the Black Friday offer was too good to miss.

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge, South Africa

Makanyane was fantastic, all of the staff were very friendly and made sure you enjoyed your stay. The lodges were great, food amazing and the guides on the safari drives were very knowledgeable. I would strongly recommend Makanyane to anyone thinking of going on safari. We dealt with Tessa at Turquoise Holidays who gave superb advice when considering where to go and the overall service was excellent with very prompt responses to questions we had. Thank you to all at Turquoise and Makanyane for making our trip so special.

The Sarojin, Thailand

We did a three center holiday in Singapore, The Sarojin and then Bangkok. Yasmin advised staying at the Sarojin. We were not disappointed. This was the perfect place for a honeymoon. Our overall experience was really fantastic. I'm used to travelling independently and had my own ideas on timetable and places to visit/stay. Yasmin was really patient and flexible with me. Communication was fantastic and there were no issues at all. The ground staff in each location were great. It made such a difference being picked up and the vehicles were all really comfortable. neither of us were used to this! We really chose Turquoise because of the gift list which also worked out really well for us. The only problem we had with the list was that the activities/tours on there weren't the sort of things we wanted to do. We added on a lot of activities ourselves + things like luggage, MRT tickets etc which seemed to work well. We liked the extra touches such as the small gift you sent through after we returned home. I would certainly use Turquoise again. Thanks to Yasmin and Laura for all their help.

Constance Prince Maurice, Mauritius

As part of my dad's 80th birthday trip we went to Le Prince Maurice. The hotel is smaller and more intimate than Le Saint Geran, however is another world class hotel with outstanding service and food. The architecture particularly of the central pool area and restaurants is just stunning. Our trip was arranged by Melissa, who went above and beyond the call of duty when I was worried about flying over Madgascar during a tropical storm. Melissa also helped us sort out re-arranging our travel when one of our party got sick with pneumonia before departure. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She is an absolute gem and a joy. I can't wait to book my next trip with Melissa. Not sure if she would say the same about us :) Amazing !!!!

One&Only Le Saint Geran, Mauritius

Melissa for President !!! We have just returned from a trip for my Dad's 80th birthday to Mauritius. We stayed in Le Saint Geran which has just reopened after a comprehensive refit. The hotel is incredible. World class food, rooms and service on arguably one of the best beaches on the Island.

Six Senses Laamu, Maldives

We had a fantastic holiday with our 5 month old daughter. A bit of a journey but was well worth it. A beautiful eco resort, with incredible sea life all around. Food and hospitality was at a high standard, however be prepared service is laid back. We took an Overwater Villa with Pool which proved to be essential to have a cool room at arms length for our daughter. We would highly recommend this holiday, and Turquoise who helped us out with this great trip.

Six Senses Samui, Thailand

I've received nothing other than superb advice, suggestions, help and an all round excellent service. Highly recommend using this company and now looking forward to our trip

Six Senses Laamu, Maldives

We are going on our honeymoon in June, so we haven’t been yet. We are so pleased with the level of service we got from the three people who helped us arrange our entire honeymoon. Lyndsey was great at giving us ideas on locations and Laura was extremely helpful with the activities. Tom went above and beyond to get us the most amazing destinations for our honeymoon. He gave us very helpful tips in travelling times, logical destinations and activities etc. He was quick, efficient and extremely knowledgeable about accommodation everywhere, also incredibly friendly! We are so grateful for the hard work and grate customer service we received from these lovely people! We will definitely recommend Turquoise! Thanks again! We look forward to our journey of a lifetime!

Velassaru, Maldives

First, thanks Rachel H for fab help and advice on Velassaru and how to get the best out of the island for our particular tastes - Rachel’s personal experience of the island I felt made a big difference and is the best service I have received from a travel agent. Everything was right from the quality and location of our beach villa (sunset side near Chill bar) to the recommendation to take the Indulgence package and experience the best a la carte dining - especially loved Sand and Tepenyaki. Velassaru is sophisticated without being snobby, lovely friendly service with fab beaches, snorkelling and food (and legendary chillin at chill bar!) Loved it!!

Velassaru, Maldives

We booked our multi-trip honeymoon with Lyndsey and from start to finish we couldn't of asked for better service, Lyndsey gave us confidence in our choices by her recommendations and knowledge of the destinations/resorts which we booked for our honeymoon. We had the best honeymoon and that's all thanks to Lyndsey's recommendations, we will definitely be using Turquoise again. Thank you :-)

The Sarojin, Thailand

Every thing was perfect thank you. Wonderful experience in River Kwai and Bangkok. We had same guide and driver which was nice. Elephant hills was great too. And The Sarojin is just a wonderful hotel. Just to let you it took about 45 mins in Bangkok airport to transfer from domestic terminal to the international area. Luckily Thai put us on an earlier flight so we made it ok on flight TG 916. Thank you Lara. Can’t wait to book another holiday!

Banyan Tree Seychelles, Seychelles

Thanks Melissa, Laura and the team at Turquoise Holidays. We were looked after from start to finish and love the Honeymoon Wish list for the guests. Seychelles Banyan Tree is beautiful. We had a lovely villa with pool over Intendance Bay and the resort looked after us - we lacked for nothing. Seychelles is probably the cleanest and friendliest island I have ever been to - and that takes some beating!

Cape Cadogan Hotel, South Africa

We booked our honeymoon to South Africa with Tessa who did the most incredible job. We are both busy people and Tessa made the booking so easy! Doing the Garden route was a different kind of holiday for us but it was easily the best holiday we had ever done. We felt like royalty with all the niceties that come with booking through Turquoise and each place we went to was different to the last and amazing in its own way. Tessa really made this a holiday of lifetime and we would defiantly book through Turquoise again.

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge, South Africa

It is certainly not easy to put into words how amazing this place is! We had spent 2 weeks in South Africa up to this point and Safari was undoubtedly the best place we went. The staff at the lodge were the most welcoming and helpful and as it was a small lodge it was easy to feel like part of the Makanyane family. Dylan was our guide and he made our game drives fun, educational and certainly adventurous, even getting up at 5.00am it was totally worth it to go out and see these amazing animals. We went with the impression that we wouldn't see much but we saw EVERYTHING, even the Wild African Dog! It was quite an experience watching Dylan and one of the other guides tracking them one morning as they heard they had been seen in the area. You only had to get a short distance from the lodge and you would bump into an elephant or impala. The lodge was very luxurious the food was amazing the setting even more so. We did 1 night out in the Hideaway which was a great experience, being under the stars and listening to the animals at night. We would 100% go back to Makanyane and would recommend anyone else to go and experience this beautiful place with the most amazing people.

Blue Waters, Antigua

I'm pleased to say we had an absolutely excellent holiday. Everything went extremely well, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Blue Waters is an outstanding resort!

The H Resort, Beau Vallon Beach, Seychelles

An amazing trip for both of us with the stunning hotel set on a white sandy beach making it the epitome of what a honeymoon should be. Tessa and the other Turquoise staff made the whole process of booking the trip easy as well as being a pleasure to deal with. Her personal recommendations of things to do on the island were especially appreciated.

Six Senses Con Dao, Vietnam

Well what can we say? Booking was a delight and Tom was ultra helpful and knowledgeable throughout. He also seemed to get us a really good deal and we had no qualms going ahead with him above any of the other people we'd spoken with. All very happy heading off on our honeymoon until disaster struck and our initial flight out was delayed 6 hours on a Sunday afternoon leaving us missing all of our transfers. Disaster! We called the emergency number on the website and spoke to Sue who is absolutely magic!! She made us feel a lot calmer, told us to relax and have a drink at the airport whilst she sorted everything. She had us re-routed to a completely different country, had people waiting for us at every single turn and even organised to put us up in an awesome 5 star hotel whilst we waited an extra day to get to final destination. Not to mention she did all of this whilst the rest of the UK was asleep! If you're wondering whether to book Turquoise or not, wonder no more - they are unbeatable and we'll never book a holiday without them again. Thank you Sue & Tom!!

Carlisle Bay, Antigua

After sadly having to cancel our Jan honeymoon due to work we wanted to book a last minute trip to somewhere warm before Christmas instead. Lara was incredibly patient and helpful as we went back and forth over various different options before we finally settled on Carlisle Bay in Antigua. The hotel was lovely, very relaxing and has one of the best beaches we have ever been to. I had a great massage whilst there and made use of the free yoga and Pilates sessions, the gym is also very well equipped. My husband loved the water sports on offer and went out daily on a hobie cat and paddle board! We would definitely return, we didn't want to leave! Thank you Lara and Turquoise for arranging such an awesome last minute break, we can't wait for the next one!

Velassaru, Maldives

Beautiful resort, accommodation and quality of food was outstanding. Staff were wonderful, nothing was too much bother. Would recommend the "Indulgence Package" as a must as food and drink is expensive. Only downside was the weather, a lot of very heavy rain due to an unusual cyclone sitting stubbornly over Sri Lanka. However this did not spoil the overall experience and we would return in the future.

Amanpulo, Philippines

For the second time, fantastic and very friendly service from Chris Gardner in advising and booking a special birthday holiday to Hong Kong and the Philippines. Chris is always incredibly patient and accommodating concerning our (considerable!) wishes and preferences, and is very patient in fine tuning things until they are just perfect for us. That means a great deal, and yet it is all done with a sense of humour and in a way you feel you can be extremely honest and open. Chris really cares that his clients have the best possible holiday, knowing how important they are to busy people. We also find Turquoise to be totally reliable, efficient, plus competively and fairly priced, the latter being important if you enjoy travel as much as we do! The Peninsula in Hong Kong was great for old world charm and service. Amanpulo in the Philippines, as with most Amans, was in another league however. Paradise personified, with the whitest of soft sand, cerulean blue sea and sky and turtles bobbing up and down right off the shore. We went to the ultra glam Hufaven Fushi also with Turquoise last year, but almost preferrred Amanpulo for its even more natural beauty, the incredibly friendly staff and all the finishing touches Aman do so superbly. We even had our own golf buggy for driving around the island, hammock in our “garden”, and the small plane taking is there and back, with the red carpet leading up to it ( literally,) made us feel like celebrities. The friendliness of the staff was second to none and the typical understated luxury of the property was fantastic. If you have not stayed at Amans, please do so. Amazing properties, in generally unique locations, with a real sense of place. Expensive, but oh so absolutely worth it. Turquoise may not have quite the same range of destinations as some specialist travel companies, but they offer a good range of high quality properties in some really interesting places and their service is just as great - especially Chris’s. He is a superstar. As highly seasoned travellers, we highly recommend Turquoise.

COMO Maalifushi, Maldives

Looking for an amazing vacation is very difficult let alone trying to look for the perfect honeymoon, with Turquoise Holidays and Tessa it was so smooth and easy! I was very skeptical at first about this site but everything turned out to be amazing and seamless! I loved everything about my booking process and will book through here again! I love the extras and gifts i received!

Carlisle Bay, Antigua

First booking with Turquoise Holidays and the service from Rachel has been excellent. The whole trip went smoothly with everything set out as per the itinerary - really important when travelling with 3 young children. Were recommended to travel to Carlisle Bay by friends who had visited on three separate occasions. and we were not disappointed. Wonderfully welcoming and friendly service from the moment of arrival. The service probably is the best we've received at any hotel stay. The food and ambience of Carlisle Bay are again both 10/10 - fantastic laid back breakfasts on the beach at Indigo through to fine evening dining at East and Indigo restaurants. The resort has a lovely location nestled in the surrounding rain forest hills and the pool and beach are immaculately looked after. The beach suite we stayed in maybe would benefit from a renovation to the bathroom and power shower, but they were still of a good standard. Overall delighted with the trip and would highly recommend Carlisle Bay and Antigua to anybody visiting with young children - definitely plan on going back! Thank You

Sugar Ridge, Antigua

We have recently returned from the most amazing honeymoon in Antigua, we spent 10 nights in the beautiful Sugar Ridge resort which was recommended by Melissa and the whole honeymoon was just perfect. Melissa has been extremely helpful and booking with turquoise took away a lot of the stress that usually comes with booking and finding the best place to go away. Because everything was so organised it meant we could focus on our wedding which was the week before we flew out. We had a gift list set up and so we were able to treat ourselves to a catamaran excursion which was wonderful. We would both recommend using Turquoise and would definitely be using them in the future. The Sugar ridge was definitely a top quality hotel with the all inclusive extending to the gorgeous beaches and the resort itself had lovely staff. Thank you for giving us a honeymoon that we will cherish forever.

The Elysian, Indonesia

Tom McKee is an absolute star. From our first meeting in his office through to actually going away, him and the Turquoise team have been exceptional. He listened to our requirements suggested suitable destinations and amazing hotels and we had an absolutely fantastic honeymoon. The Park Royal in Singapore is a lovely hotel, the staff and breakfasts are exceptional and the location makes exploring the city incredibly easy. The pool area is limited in size but beautiful - we hardly had any time to enjoy it though in a busy city like Singapore. Uma hotel in Ubud is the best hotel we've ever stayed in. The staff are unbelievable, the food is excellent and its incredibly beautiful. We didn't use our private pool very much as it wasn't heated and usually in the shade but the hotel main pool is quiet and stunning. The Elysian Hotel in Seminyak is very impressive. Its small and very quiet but the staff are helpful and friendly. Our one criticism is its slightly off the beaten track - a 10 - 15 minute walk into Seminyak which isn't very picturesque. The food is excellent and the villas were breath taking! Thank you for everything you guys did and for an amazing honeymoon!

Constance Ephelia , Seychelles

Chris was amazingly helpful sorting out our family group. The hotel was perfect for 3 generations and it was lovely having a selection of swimming pools rather than one big pool. Our only criticism was the slowness of the food service and the differing prices of the same wine in different restaurants. Also the children’s menu was very limited and unhealthy. We would thoroughly recommend the hotel and might well return. The grounds and beaches were amazing and the staff charming and helpful.

Jeeva Klui, Indonesia

Jeeva had a really different feel to it – much more intimate which was a great contrast to Tugu. Again, what a lovely spot! We think we had the best villa there (villa number 111 for future reference!) right on the beech directly in front of the amazing sunsets every night! We loved the room, the big day beds outside were a real bonus and staff were more than happy to deliver drinks and food to your room at anytime (for no extra cost). Andy surfed at the school next door and I did a lot of sunbathing! Very attentive staff that were also happy to recommend things to do and see. So all in all just a brilliant trip – thank you so much for your trusted recommendations –booking with you is always so seamless and you choose such good resorts that really do cater for our requirements (and more!) We will continue to recommend you and will be in touch when we are looking to book our next trip…..!

St Regis Mauritius Resort, Mauritius

We had the most amazing honeymoon all thanks to Willa! When we first went in to meet her we were unsure of where we wanted to go but once we had discussed with her what we wanted from our honeymoon she soon got to work putting together ideas and we soon had our perfect honeymoon planned. We used the Gift List which worked so well and was so easy for our family and friends to use. The whole team were so helpful and quick to answer any questions that we had. The St Regis in Mauritius truly is stunning and the service we received was incredible, they absolutely spoilt us and gave us so many honeymoon treats! The staff were so attentive, caring and friendly. The food was all delicious and such a variety on offer, it was hard choosing which wonderful restaurant to dine in each evening! We have already recommended Willa and Turquoise to other friends arranging their honeymoons and we will definitely be using them again ourselves for holidays.

Constance Moofushi, Maldives

My wife & I just returned from our honeymoon at Constance Moofushi in the Maldives, which was coordinated by Marcha Dejong. The past week was absolute bliss, and much of that is thanks to Marcha, who identified the perfect resort, arranged all of our travel, and provided recommendations on activities once we arrived. Starting with our initial call, Marcha really considered the factors that were important to my wife and I in our honeymoon, and shared several rounds of options until we'd found the perfect resort. She was extremely organized in arranging travel logistics, and consistently kept our peace of mind as her top priority. Examples of this included summary and detailed packets she prepared, working with the resort to ensure we had the ideal sunset view room, providing recommendations on activities based on her own personal experience, and even reserving seats based on which side of the plane had better views! Marcha, thank you for always putting us first, and for providing us a honeymoon we'll remember forever.

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge, South Africa

This was by far the best experience ever!! We stayed here for 4 nights and saw the most amazing and beautiful animals. The staff were soo friendly and kind and so helpful, they made us feel at home. We also stayed at Lux* Belle Mare and there's nothing more to say that wow! The hotel is out of the world and the rooms are amazing. The staff really went out of their way to help you and the food was delicious. Thank you Lyndsey for making our honeymoon the best ever. You listened to what we wanted and created the most amazing package which met our needs and expectations.

The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille, Kenya

A huge thank you to Tessa for your help in organising our incredible honeymoon - your service and advice was impeccable from start to finish. Ol Lentille is almost indescribable in terms of how amazing it is - we simply can't do it justice in describing it to family and friends. Every single staff member, every meal, every transfer, every wake-up breakfast tray, every game drive, every tiny plane flight - was perfection. Thank you for listening to what we wanted, and crafting us a holiday of a lifetime. We are singing your praises to everyone that will listen!

The Samaya Seminyak, Indonesia

Samaya really blew us away! The hotel really was amazing and again the staff could not do enough to help. I would go as far to say, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The breakfast next to the beach in the morning was one of the best breakfasts I have ever eaten and the sunset from the bar was beautiful.

Sandat Glamping Tents, Indonesia

Where to start, Ubud was amazing and the Glamping surpassed my expectations! When we arrived we were both taken back by the quality of the accommodation (especially after the long flight) and the service was simply perfect with nothing being too much trouble.

Denis Private Island, Seychelles

Grace was brilliantly helpful and attentive from the get go. I never felt pressured and she really understood what we wanted from our honeymoon. Denis Island is a spectacularly beautiful place and is an incredibly secluded and unique place to spend some ultimate relaxation time. The 'resort' and service is perfectly pitched. It's beautifully decorated and you want for nothing but it's not too stuffy or formal, as in a lot of high end resorts. The food was delicious, fresh and varied each day. You could go a whole day seeing only a handful of people until meal times and cycling around the island on your own bikes to seek out other places to explore was such fun. We couldn't recommend it enough. We also stayed at Constance Lemuria which is more of a typical large resort. We were a bit reluctant as it's not normally where we would go however, we wanted to treat ourselves to some luxury. It's decorated tastefully and compliments the surroundings really well. You can't really see the resorts once you step out far onto the beach. It's incredibly green and the grounds are beautiful. The pools are really nice. The house beaches are lovely. The hotel is really well placed to visit other beaches on the island, which is a must as Anse Georgette and Lazio are truly breathtaking. Getting a sun lounger is a bit tricky so you have to be a bit militant to get them! It is quite expensive to eat and drink there, especially the buffet at 100 EUR per person, but we decided to eat at the alternative restaurants or have room service on our little balcony overlooking the sea instead. The Nest restaurant, although windy, is really lovely. Snorkeling wasn't great in either place which was a little disappointing. However, it was largely due to the fact we have been hugely spoiled in other destinations we have visited and the weather we experienced wasn't what they normally have that time of year so the seas on sides of the islands that were supposed to be calm were quite rough. But that can't be helped! Overall, we got exactly what we wanted which was a chilled holiday in spectacular surroundings and had an incredible time.

Serengeti Safari Camp, Tanzania

We booked through Turqouise for our honeymoon as we had heard good things about them. We were not disappointed!! The correspondence was very professional and helpful and with a little idea in mind and their help we quickly decided on a suitable trip. Tracie paid great attention to the small details and was keen to make sure we had a honeymoon experience as well as a Safari. The camps and other accommodations she suggested were beautiful and exactly what we were after. Although the trip did cost a small fortune, it was a once in a lifetime experience and along with our stay in the Seychelles afterwards, it was worth every penny. The Safari itself was epic, we were extremely lucky to see a wildebeest crossing of the Mara river, which was incredible considering we had seen numerous documentaries about the famous migration we were lucky enough to experience the real thing. A beautiful wild place and a trip that was faultlessly organised for us. Our stay in the Seychelles was also beautiful especially Denis island. Once again Tracie listenened to our ideas and requests and suggested Denis for this reason. In all honesty there isn't a whole lot of things to do there but that is the point. If you want the most perfect place for a honeymoon with privacy, peace and quiet and somewhere beautiful in the middle of the Indian Ocean then look no further. The food was ridiculous...so much choice, all freshly made and the idea to have a barbecue or sushi night etc were really great ways to mix up the setting so that things didn't become repetitive. The accommodations were beautiful and spacious and very well thought out. The island itself is a little piece of paradise with giant tortoises and numerous species of see birds and lizards. The marine life was excellent too, we saw dozens of juvenile reef sharks, sting rays turtles and lots of other tropical fish and coral. It was absolutely a barefoot luxury location. If I had one suggestion to make...there were times in the evenings when we were transported by the golf buggies to different parts of the island for dinner and we were treated to the beautiful night sky which was epic as there was zero light pollution. It would have been great to implement a star gazing activity with a telescope and an astronomer to explain about the stars, planets and anything else that was visible. This is something we had experienced before near Ayers Rock, Australia and think that it would work really well here. Thank you to Tracie and April and all at Turquiose for delivering the unforgettable dream honeymoon we were after!!

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge, South Africa

We spent the first part of our honeymoon here, it was the most beautiful place. The lodges are amazing, the staff so welcoming and attentive with every little detail taken care of, we especially liked the lighting of the log fire in our room to welcome us back after a long day out on safari. Our tour guide Kaiser was brilliant, he did everything within his power and with respect towards the animals to give us the best experience possible and to see as many animals as we possibly could. We couldn't recommend this place enough! We'd also like to thank all the staff at Turquoise for helping us make the trip a possibility!

The Samaya Seminyak, Indonesia

Our final week in Indonesia was spent at the Samaya Seminyak, Bali. It was quite a shock to be back in a busy town having just left the peace and tranquility of Gili Air, however we arrived at The Samaya and as soon as we stepped into reception is was peace and tranquility again. We were greeted by Ray the General Manager and his staff who took us to the two 1 bedroomed beach villas (one for my husband and I and one for our two teenagers). We had 2 private swimming pools, 2 jacuzzis. The bathrooms were the largest we've ever seen and we also had outdoor showers as well. We stepped out of our villas straight into beautifully manicured gardens and a stunning communal pool and onto sun loungers overlooking the beach and sea - absolutely perfect. The staff were so attentive and friendly. If you had a particular request ie. a jug of cold milk with your English Breakfast Tea, you only had to ask once and they would bring it every day. The breakfast choices were amazing and absolutely delicious. We sampled lunch and dinner a couple of times and again the food was superb. During the day they bring you iced water which is constantly topped up and a nice treat was a chilled bowl of fruit salad around midday. The complementary afternoon tea was a nice extra and the scones are so good. The location of the hotel is perfect. Just far enough from the main shopping area. You would never know you were in a town. The beach goes for miles and the waves which are huge all the time are great to body board in. My only criticism would be that it was probably too quiet for our two children (15 & 13). Definitely more of a honeymoon hotel. I think my husband and I might go back on our own next time!!!

St Regis Mauritius Resort, Mauritius

We spent the second part of our honeymoon here and we were not disappointed. What a place! The decor, style and essence of the hotel just screamed luxury and lasciviousness. The hotel staff were incredible, so helpful and attentive. I am starting to think this is true of all Mauritian people. Nothing is too much! We had our own butlers Jaysen and Vikram who brought us coffee every morning and pressed our clothes for the evenings. There were 2 occasions where the order was delivered at the wrong time so they brought us up a bottle of wine and canapes as an apology- fantastic service! There was also one lunch time where my order was wrong so they brought out the chef to apologise! They go completely above and beyond at this resort! We had a room near the beach front and every morning one of the beach boys Nikesh made sure we had the same sun loungers and even did motifs in the sand. He looked after us so well every day along with Akash and Jihaad. The guys at the beach bar were great too, especially Flecino (I think that's his name) they provided great entertainment during our after dinner drinks. The restaurants were fantastic, great selection of food and drinks. We were spoilt for choice every night. The only thing we didn't realise is that gentlemen must wear trousers for dinner, a great concept but not if you don't know in advance. The hotel offered many activities but the beach is so incredible, we only left once when it was rainy one day. We used the free bikes to cycle to the local supermarket. The gym is amazing, so much equipment! It's a shame there are only 2 yoga classes per week, it would have been nice to offer more or maybe even some other classes. Highly recommend this place, we met a family here and they were on their 4th visit, I can totally understand why!

Borneo Rainforest Lodge, Danum Valley, Malaysia

Borneo Rainforest Lodge was absolutely stunning, like really exceeded expectations. Other than the lack of air con, which is apparently an eco thing (!) the room was perfect, you could hear all the noises of the rainforest but it was all sealed away from the scary snakes and bugs. The treks were great (although the coffin cliff one was knackering) and we did see orang-utan in the wild which was breath-taking. One afternoon we sacked off the trek and from the comfort of the outdoor bath saw monkeys playing in the trees and jumping into the river- I mean where else would you ever experience that!! Food was really amazing and spa pretty good too although I only tried the foot massage, was nice to look out and watch the animals during the treatment. I’m terrified of heights but went for the canopy walk anyway and am pleased I did, felt really secure up there as was really well built and amazing views.

Pangkor Laut Resort, Malaysia

What an incredible place. It had all the beauty of the Maldives but in my opinion way more character. It was cool being surrounded by hornbills nicking your chips at lunch, and bats flying off for their dinner each night! Both the trips we did were awesome. Be sure to recommend the fishing trip to anyone who goes, first of all it was great fun and a good way to see more of the islands around there but secondly we caught three barracuda- we took them back to the hotel and Din from the Royal Bay Beach Club arranged them to be cooked for us for lunch and dinner for FREE! We had one sweet and sour style, one malay style in a banana leaf and one in a malay curry. Cracking value for an afternoon out. The chef experience was also fantastic, we were fortunate enough to have just the two of us signed up and it was great fun- we even had a dinner party this week and made Chicken Rendang for our guests. Oh and the spa! Probably the best spa I’ve ever been to, and I do like a good spa!! You go around different pools and learn about, and try, the traditional Japanese, Chinese, Malay etc baths. And then they have loads of different treatments. We had the free massage you arranged- thanks for that! And then a half day couple experience. I think the beach villa was the best accommodation option. We loved it. It was the most centrally located, and beautiful inside. The hill and garden villas were a bit of a trek, as was the spa villas, although they’d be good if you want it really quiet- you’d need to use the shuttle service probably, the sea villas were nice too but a lot smaller than the beach ones. Am running out of positive adjectives so just 10/10 for Pangkor Laut.

137 Pillars House, Thailand

We honeymooned in 3 different parts of Thailand: Bangkok at the Anantara Riverside for 3 nights, Chiang Mai at 137 Pillars House for 4 nights and Koh Phangan at the Anantara Rasananda for 6 nights. Of all 3 hotels our favourite was 137 Pillars House, it was a beautiful suite and to top it off, we had our own amazing butler Pui. Pui made our honeymoon experience really special, from organising towels for the elephant sanctuary, to booking dinner at fine restaurants and telling them it was our honeymoon so they made is special for us. We had a fantastic time in Bangkok and Koh Phangan, but it was Pui's personal touch in Chiang Mai that really made it for us. Thanks for an amazing honeymoon destination, we won't forget it!

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge, South Africa

Chris helped my fiance and I book our honeymoon, and we had the most amazing trip - thank you! Feedback on Turquoise Holidays: Turquoise were brilliant at every stage of the process, they were helpful, informative, responsive, and helped us to plan the trip of a lifetime. They were respectful of our budget and helped us work out where the splurge was worth it. The honeymoon donations page for our wedding gift list also worked really well! Feedback on Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge: The staff absolutely make this place. The transfer is quite long from Jo'burg (5 hour drive), but totally worth it. They take care of everything and with only 8 lodges, the service you get truly feels personal, and you really get to know other people staying there. I am dairy intolerant and they were incredible - they would see me, and (knowing I can't have dairy), bring over some milk alternatives, or make me my own batch of dairy free food, desserts, cake - I felt so spoiled, I normally have to miss out on dessert. They fed us so much and the food was spectacular. The game reserve itself was also great, we got to tick off everything we wanted to see, and were able to get really quite close to the animals. We also got on really well with our ranger Jacques, who really knew what he was talking about. We were very sad to leave Makanyane (although 4 nights is about the right amount of time), we have some memories we will really treasure. Feedback on Shangri La - Mauritius: Going from such amazing, personalised service at a small lodge, to a massive resort in Mauritius took us a little while to adjust, but the resort and the island were just beautiful. We had a junior hibiscus suite which was right on the beach, and we could watch the sun rise every morning. The room wasn't quite as luxurious as I had thought, but was still lovely, and the food was delicious. Overall, amazing honeymoon, but our stay at Makanyane was definitely the highlight, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Qunci Villas, Indonesia

Qunci Villas was also great - we were both blown away by the location, with the infinity pools going off into the sea and it was great to be able to sit out by the sea every morning having breakfast. I don't think we did much here apart from sit by the pool, apart from a bit of snorkeling off the beach right in front of the hotel, but that was all we really wanted to do at that stage.

Uma Ubud, Indonesia

Como in Ubud was probably our favourite hotel overall. The setting was incredible, the room and bathroom were really nice and the food here was definitely the best of anywhere we stayed. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel offered loads of activities. We did a day trip out to some other parts of Bali from here and there was lots to see and do in Ubud - we both particularly enjoyed visiting the monkey forest.

The Elysian, Indonesia

The villa at the Elysian was amazing, very spacious, fantastic to have the private pool and the other facilities there were great. We ate out in Seminyak most evenings as there were so many places to try and it was very easy to get to, particularly with the hotel shuttle, and spent a lot of time exploring the town and walking up and down the beach. The hotel also provided a complimentary welcome massage at the spa which was really nice.

LUX* Belle Mare, Mauritius

Extremely beautiful hotel which could do with a bit of renovation in places but like most places the staff make up everything. Nothing is an issue and they make your stay very personal. Food is also fabulous in the buffet and in Beach Rough which are included under Half Board basis. Both Amari restaurant and Duck Laundry have a discount of 30% off of food, however in my opinion still very expensive. Beautiful sea and plenty on sun beds to go around as well, the beach never looks full. Thanks again to Lara for helping us pick our holiday . We loved every minute.

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge, South Africa

I have to tell you - that was absolutely the best trip of our lives! I LOVED Cape Town and would love to go back and spend more time there! We did a 6 hour tour around the cape our first full day, seeing the cape, Simon's Town, the penguins and polishing it off with Chapmans Peak. It was definitely one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. And we had some amazing food - I could not get over how plentiful and fresh the seafood was - certainly top notch. We did climb up to the top of Table Mountain - it was awesome! But I have to admit - a very tough climb! The highlight of the trip was the safari for sure. We had no idea what to expect and at one point in a drive I just looked at Jessica and told her it seemed like it wasn't even real. Makayane was really superb - and again, incredible cuisine. I am literally having to go on a diet after the vacation (well I should at least)... We have raved about our trip (so far three days back) to anyone we come into contact with - and especially about how great it was working with you. Having the transfers booked to pick you up and walk you through spots is very beneficial. I just wish it wasn't so far away - so we could go back more often. The safari was so incredible - really hard to put into words. But the resort, rooms, our guide, food - and the fact that it is very small - all were wonderful aspects. It took about all day to transfer to Johannesburg then fly to Mauritius - but it was great. We upgraded our flight which was awesome - having full recline seats - and wine! Then it took about an hour once we left the airport to get to the Shangri La. The Shangri La was very pretty - and their private island was gorgeous. Then we went every day over to Il Mangenie - the staff there are really amazing and the views of the ocean were heavenly. It was, as I said, the best trip ever - trip of a lifetime. If I could go back each year, I probably would - just to get some seafood and be on the safari! Even with the 40 hour trip. Thank you SO much for putting it together for us - we loved every minute of it.

LUX* Belle Mare, Mauritius

It was just a breeze booking this vacation. Melanie provided with great information as well as insider information as she had enjoyed a similar trip. No pressure was applied, which also added to the ease of booking. From start to finish, big things and little things, they were all covered. We had just the most fantastic time just as Melanie had described. I cannot recommend enough. Just let them takeover the planning and enjoy a trip of a lifetime!

InterContinental Resort & Thalasso Spa, Tahiti

Thoroughly impressed with our honeymoon arranged by Lyndsey, although we were away, Lyndsey kept in touch with us throughout our stay via email to iron our a couple of unavoidable hitches with local transport, we felt completely supported and nothing was too much trouble for Turquoise. The planning of our honeymoon was so enjoyable because Lyndsey took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, she gained our trust by always being at the end of the phone or email with any planning queries we had. She certainly helped us tick several things off our bucket list! We hope to use turquoise again, soon as the extra special touches they provide, certainly make you feel a valued customer. Thank you! Sophie & Tom Waters.

The Samaya Seminyak, Indonesia

We had the most incredible honeymoon and we can't thank you enough!! All of the places we stayed were just incredible. The grand harbour in Hong Kong was excellent. Perfect location right next to a metro stop! The view from our room was amazing. We loved the extra little drinks/food we could get being on the club floor. The pool area was great & the free shuttle bus was so handy. The Samaya was the best place we have ever stayed!! Both in seminyak and ubud. The service was excellent and we can't think of anything you could improve with these hotels! Transfers/pickups were so smooth - we didn't have to think about a thing! Thanks again, we will certainly be back in touch in the future if we are fortunate enough to have another trip like this! Ps business class was money well spent!!

COMO Maalifushi, Maldives

Maalifushi by COMO – ‘what an absolute paradise! Truly stunning. Had a lovely time and couldn’t fault a thing’

Uma Ubud, Indonesia

We had an amazing honeymoon in Singapore and Bali. A massive thank you to Antony who done a fantastic job helping us create our dream holiday. He really went out his way to ensure we had the most suited hotels for our trip. We had a quote from another company who suggested a hotel for our stay in Bali, Antony was quick to point out that it was not really a "honeymoon" hotel or what we were looking for and instead suggested a perfect alternative (also cut the price down! Which was an extra bonus). We loved the activities suggested by Antony and would definitely book with Turquoise in the near future. I had plenty of changes, questions and requests – Antony was extremely helpful each time! Singapore was amazing! We stayed in the mandarin oriental in a high floor room looking out to the marina bay. We loved the room and the view. The hotel staff were amazing and catered for all our needs. The food was amazing at the hotel and location was ideal to get to the tourist locations. It’s also right next to a major shopping centre. We especially enjoyed Singapore zoo and seeing some of the local sights such as gardens by the bay, and also going on the Singapore flyer at night. Our second destination was Bali. We stayed at COMO Uma Ubud for 4 nights. What an incredible experience - it truly exceeded our expectations. The hospitality was amazing and the staff were the best. They all remember your name and are always available if needed. Room service was prompt and catered for anything we required no matter how small it may of been. There is refurbishment work going on during the day - the manager informed us of this on arrival and added complimentary 1hr massage at the spa for both of us (which was great!). We had a few issues with our pool suite. We spoke with the duty manager, who was very understanding, and arranged for an upgrade to the pool villa which was just amazing! The food was great, the staff catered for our strict vegetarian diet. We then went to The Pavilions in Sanur. Beautiful location, only 5 minute walk to Sanur Beach. Again, the service was great! We upgraded to the Pool Villa as we felt the Garden villa was a bit tight. Our Tour guide (Putri from Destination Asia) was amazing. She helped create our day plan allowing time for us to relax as well as get out of the villa to see Bali. We loved the visit to the rice fields, organic coffee farm, sunrise volcano hike (at 3am in the morning), monkey forest, temples and quad biking! Thank you to Turquoise for a perfect honeymoon!

Constance Prince Maurice, Mauritius

Thank you Turquoise and Willa for a fantastic holiday at The Constance Le Prince resort and Spa in Mauritius, it was perfect for our week of relaxation, faultless staff and surroundings, our villa was lovely and met all our expectations. The pool & beach areas were beautiful, and the service was impeccable everywhere we went. We loved the floating Le Barachois, restaurant it was our favourite, but the other, Archipel and Asian were just as good, we tried the wine tasting one night with Jerome the Sommelier. The luxurious Spa & a great selection of water sports were available at any time, we even took out the mountain bikes a few time to explore the local surroundings and markets, the weather was wonderful, we had a great time and I am we will want to go back one day. SM

Six Senses Laamu, Maldives

Honestly, I can't come up with a single piece of criticism. If hard pressed, perhaps for the Six Senses crew greeting us at Male' to have had a bottle of water on hand as we didn't have a great deal of time before boarding our domestic flight and so weren't able to pick up any. That said, there was lovely cold beverages on the boat once we landed off the domestic plane. We wouldn't hesitate to return to Turqoise Holidays either and have already been trying to think about where we could go next! Now we wait for our little one to join us in September, and if our first few months all go well hopefully we'll be reaching out early next year to plan our next vacation with you - we'd really like to do Africa next! Though, at some point undoubtably want to return to Six Senses in the Maldives too.

InterContinental Le Moana Resort, Bora Bora, Tahiti

Lara was very helpful in helping us create a truly unique and unforgettable experience that was within our budget and didn't compromise the level of luxury we had set our hearts on! We stayed 5 incredible nights on the beautiful island of Mo'orea at the Hilton Mo'orea in the garden huts with private pool, followed by 5 unforgettable nights in the magical island of Bora Bora in an overwater bungalow. The waters in Bora Bora were gobsmacking, too good to be true, crystal clear and just amazing how the blue and turquoise just came together yet were so separate. Pictures and words do not do justice, you just have to see and experience these beautiful islands yourself. The Hilton Mo'orea lived up to its 5 star standard, the staff were very attentive and friendly, the facilities were brilliant with lots of complimentary activities such a kayaking, paddle boating, snorkelling etc, the resort was clean and tidy and was brilliant. The garden rooms, which we stayed in had a private pool which gave us a combination of relaxation and privacy which was just what we needed given that we were on honeymoon! The Intercontinental Le Moana Bora Bora Resort was truly magnificent, it was located on the clearest most pristine waters I've seen in my life and it really does live up to expectations! We stayed in an overwater bungalow and had a view of the sea, mountain and the sunset and sunrise every magical morning and night! We stepped out onto our deck in the mornings and climbed/jumped into the water from our doorstep. We fed fishes though our glass table in our room. All these fine details created the best memories. When it comes to money matters, yes it's true Bora Bora is expensive, Mo'orea is far more reasonable, and outside the hotels are far far more reasonable. A can of coke at the hotel would be 5000xpf whereas it would be 1000xpf at the supermarket which is like 500% less lol. We would advise that you book half board if possible as it would save you a substantial amount in my personal opinion which is what we did and it worked out great as we would have a light lunch during our activities that we had booked, or most of the time our activities included a lunch. You can basically compare restaurant prices to that of a fine dining restaurant for less fine food. So say you went out for fine dining in London which on average costs between £45 and upwards per person, that's basically the general cost of a 1 course meal and an alcoholic beverage per person or a 1 course meal and a soft drink for 2. Which isn't bad considering we thought we would be spending far more than that. Like we were told bloody Mary's is super expensive, but it's really not that bad, on average a main meal is 2500xpf which is $25 which is about £23 or s. We thought we would be spending £100 for two on each meal so we were quite worried but that was not the case so we were quite pleased. Most hotels also have happy hour so make use of that. The hotels don't really advertise the opportunity to dine out of the hotel but this is definitely available, you just have to ask about it yourself at the relevant desk. In all honesty, 5 nights is plenty of time to spend on each island, you can explore and relax enough in this space of time. Make sure you book your activities in advance as they seem to get booked up and you will avoid disappoint. Make sure you do an island tour and lots of snorkelling with sharks and sting rays, jet skiing, quad biking, and everything on your bucket list :-) Once again I would like to thank Turquoise again for an incredibly amazing experience! Lots of love Xxxxxxxxxx

PER AQUUM Niyama, Maldives

We cannot recommend this island enough! From the moment we were met on arrival by the team (with a very welcome cold flannel and refreshing drink!) to the moment we left, we had an amazing time!! The place itself is absolutely beautiful, just like you see in the brochure pictures! The sand is white and the water crystal clear. The staff are amazing. Every single person we met was incredibly polite and professional and always greeted you with a cheery smile. They really made our stay that bit more special with their attentiveness. Lyndsey was so helpful throughout the booking process and really made everything easy and straightforward. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Niyama and Turquoise!

Constance Moofushi, Maldives

An excellent honeymoon which was perfect in every way. Melissa's support was above and beyond what we expected. Melissa was also very flexible and patient as we had to make a few changes prior to booking. We didn't have to worry about anything considering there was so many things to organise. Thanks so much to Turquoise, Melissa and Constance Moofushi. Look forward to our next journey to paradise

Velassaru, Maldives

We arrived back from Velassaru yesterday and are so sad to be home! We had an amazing honeymoon at Velassaru and would highly recommend everyone to go there - we definitely want to return. Booking with Chris at Turquoise holiday was so easy and he kept us informed all the way - nothing was too much trouble and we felt in good hands! It also seemed like a really personal and non-corporate service, which we liked. Our travel to the Maldives was perfect - so easy - and we got to our Island easily from Male airport with a boat transfer - everything was so well organised. Velassaru is total bliss... white sand, blue sea, even better than the pictures. ALL the staff are absolutely amazing and so friendly, they seem to really enjoy their jobs - we had a fantastic man cleaning our room twice a day who we had great laughs with. The over water bungalow was fantastic and we had the perfect view of the sunrise every morning. The food at all the restaurants were superb too - we managed to eat at Teppanyaki twice during our week, which is a Japanese restaurant on the sea. The chefs cook the food in front of you and the Wagyu beef is to die for! The Chill Bar has great tapas for lunch as well as a wide variety of cocktails! We had the indulgence package and didn't have to spend anything additional on food or drinks as so much was included. There are so many activities at Velassaru (apart from relaxing), including yoga in the morning, massages at the spa (amazing!), kayaking, SUP, snorkelling, watching the sunset at Chill Bar, live music every night at Fen Bar with the option of Sisha! We couldn't have asked for anything more - it was absolutely perfect! After a long journey home we then arrived back to an unexpected little welcome home gift from Turquoise! Thank you Chris at Turquoise for organising it for us, it really was the perfect honeymoon!! x

Denis Private Island, Seychelles

We just loved Denis Island. It really is paradise on earth. Our cottage was perfect, the food delicious and the menu changed every day, and the team there were all so charming and friendly. We definitely hope to go there again. Very interesting too that most of their guests are "returners". Such a fascinating and beautiful place. THANK YOU!

Constance Moofushi, Maldives

We have just returned from the most fabulous week at Constance Moofushi in the Maldives. We had requested a sunset villa through Anna, and were so lucky to be given number 101 which we felt was perfectly situated at the end of the jetty closest to the beach. Upon our arrival at Male we were immediately greeted by a Constance representative and taken to a cool lounge where we were given drinks and filled in the necessary hotel paperwork in the half an hour before our sea plane flight. This meant that once we arrived at the island all we had to do was don the flip flops given to us as we got out of the plane and stroll to our beautiful room. The food at Moofushi is fabulous, the cocktails delicious and the sommeliers ensure you get wine that you will love at dinner (and/or lunch!). What truly made the difference for us was the staff on the island. They were all so happy and helpful, wanting to make our holiday the best that it could be. Whether waiters, chefs, excursion leaders or those in charge, all the staff were charming and delightful. We went on several excursions, did a cocktail making class and had spa treatments. Whatever we did was enjoyable, relaxing and fun. Whilst it is not for those looking for the glamour and glitz of Dubai I can absolutely say that this was a truly amazing week and would recommend Moofushi to anyone looking for a relaxing and fabulous holiday. Hope this is what you were after! As I said I will happily recommend Turquoise to anyone who will listen - Sally is thrilled with her upcoming Borneo trip! I am looking forward to hearing of the Constance offers of the future!

Six Senses Laamu, Maldives

We had a really exceptional time at Six Senses Laamu. It was everything we wanted and more and was a perfect location for what was, in effect, a second honeymoon. The villa was very comfortable indeed, served by staff who were extremely keen to help but unobtrusive, perfectly positioned for access to all facilities and perfectly placed for viewing the sunsets and quick access to the reef. The food in the various restaurants was very high quality indeed and with a wide range of styles to choose from. All the other facilities were excellent too – e.g. the gym was very professional and well equipped. Watersports were very well catered for in relation surfing, wind surfing, kayaks, paddle boards etc. Dinghy sailing is not so well covered – they have just one cat – but in reality there was barely enough breeze to work with anyway. Also, of course, the multitude of reefs would mean that sailing would need to be carefully supervised. The island itself is beautiful and really well looked after. It is sited right next to a major channel into the atoll lagoon so it is well placed for dolphin sightings. The beach villas looked well appointed, but we were pleased we chose a villa over the water, as the beach villas were a little hidden in the trees just off the beach and therefore, from our point of view, less attractive. The staff were very attentive and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We had daily conversations with our GEM (Guest Experience Maker) - he found us, we didn’t need to find him – and he made sure we knew what was on offer but there was no hard sell. Overall there was no need to work hard to make things happen – it all seemed to be taken care of. Certainly all the admin happened with no fuss at all. We found that the cost of some of the various excursions on offer were very highly priced, but on balance they were probably in proportion to the prices of accommodation and food. All in all we fell completely in love with the place! We would have no hesitation in recommending the resort to others.

Constance Moofushi, Maldives

Thank you Lindsey and Turquoise for organizing a truly dream holiday at the Constance Moofushi in the Maldives. Your customer service and attention to detail are irreproachable and we would highly recommend you as an authentic luxury travel specialist. As for the holiday destination itself everything met our expectations : the magnificent location, the accommodation, the fabulous food and of course the excellent service so typical of the Constance group. It was paradise for a week - why didn't we book for longer..???!

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge, South Africa

Safari was awesome, so glad we did it. The Sanctuary Safari lodge was superb. So welcoming, quiet, peaceful and every member of staff from manager Lynette, our guide Kaizer, Alfie, Matilda, Ben and the night porter David made us feel so special. The experience was full on and 4 nights is probably the right amount of time, with the long and fully planned days to much longer would have been difficult to do without missing a game drive. Kaizer our guide was the nicest, most enthusiastic person we could have wished for. He lives by two quotes; never give up and enthusiasm brings luck! Both which he installed into ourselves and the three others in his vehicle which made for some fantastic wildlife encounters. We saw the big 5 in 2 drives added the super 6, then completed the magnificent 7 (Rhino, Elephant, Leopard, Cheetah, Lion, Wild Dogs, Buffalo) but also had two magical encounters with 2 of the 6 Black Rhino of the reserve as well. So completed what we have now dubbed the Emotional 8! Kaizer had never done this with any group he had taken out, usually one would stay elusive. So a magical time was had with over 900 pictures taken by me!

Garonga Safari Camp & Little Garonga , South Africa

Booked with Sophie last year for our honeymoon in South Africa - to say the service was exceptional is an understatement! We had the most wonderful time, the entire experience was stress free and fun. I have since booked with another "luxury travel company" but only because Turquoise don't do India and have to say Turquoise outshines them by a mile. We cannot wait to book with Turquoise again & want to thank Sophie so much for the incredible service she provided. I have recommended Turquoise and Sophie to numerous friends and hope they will too enjoy the wonderful holidays Turquoise puts together.

Ol Seki Hemingways Mara Camp, Kenya

Booked with MARCHA. I booked our first safari with Marcha & she got it absolutely spot on! Ol Seki Hemingways Mara was the best place we have ever been. I relied on Marcha's knowledge quite a lot because I have never been on a safari before. I will be using you again and also recommending you to friends and family & on my blog too.

LUX* Le Morne, Mauritius

An amazing honeymoon from start to finish! It was wonderful to book our honeymoon with Grace who gave us excellent advice and had fantastic knowledge about the resort and about the island. We stayed at Lux* Le Morne for 10 nights and it was the most amazing holiday we have ever been on. The room was lovely and the staff were extremely welcoming. This resort was so special with its beautiful beach, range of pools and extensive food and drink options. We will definitely be returning in the future!! The whole booking process with turquoise was brilliant and Grace made booking our honeymoon stress free and fun! We loved how the travel documents were presented and all the little extras we got included in our honeymoon package such as a massage, bottle of wine and cake - these little details really made our holiday extra special! Mauritius is a brilliant place and Lux* Le Morne is a fantastic resort to visit, we hope we get to go back again very soon! Thank you Grace and everyone else at turquoise holidays for all your help and advice!

Banyan Tree Bangkok, Thailand

We stayed here for three nights in a two bedroom suite. It was absolutely stunning and exceeded our expectations. We were able to use the club lounge for free. I think this is one of the benefits of booking a suite. The food and drink was available all day until around 7:30pm. This was really useful for the kids, as snacks were always available. The beds were really comfortable and the black out curtains really helped us over our jetlag. The hotel is a ten minute walk from Lumpini park, which has a 2.5km running route around its edge. There is also a gym in the hotel, with weights and running machines etc. The only slight downside of the hotel is the rooftop pool. It's small and sun loungers are limited. We found the water to be too cold, probably not helped by the fact the pool is in shadow most of the day. Having said that, we would definitely stay here again and it was a fantastic experience.

The Racha, Thailand

We stayed in the Racha for 8 nights from 2nd January 2016 and travelled as a family with two children aged 12 and 9. The transfer via speedboat from Phuket was wonderful, if a little choppy. For those who suffer from sea sickness, it's worth taking a tablet before embarking. One poor lady in our group felt very nauseous for the journey. Our first view of Racha was breathtaking. We arrived at dusk, and the resort was lit up with fairly lights on palm trees and a huge 2017 sign in lights (it doesn't sound particularly tasteful, but it was!) Check in was done in Phuket, so we were given a welcome drink and taken straight to our room. We stayed in a two bedroom pool villa, which was elevated with a wonderful view of the sea. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere as lovely. Our bedroom opened straight out into the pool and the huge bathroom, with jacuzzi, double sink and shower, opened to an outside shower. The children's room was spacious with its own bathroom and there was also a large living room and plenty of outside space to sit and read. It was wonderful waking up the next morning to a view of the sea. The hotel has three pools, one which is for families, one for adults only and one which visitors can use. We mainly stayed by the family pool as it was very quiet and there were plenty of sun loungers. Other people have commented on how busy the beach is, but we didn't tend to go down there until after 4:00pm and we found it absolutely fine. The children enjoyed a couple of games of football with the staff and my son also played pool with a couple of members of staff. They both commented independently on how kind everyone was. There is a lovely spa. I didn't have any treatments, but I went to a free yoga class there and my husband used the gym a few times. It has a fantastic view of the sea. Food was generally good, especially the buffet nights. Unfortunately the Thai buffet night that we were looking forward to was cancelled because of torrential rain. Sometimes it was challenging making our requests understood, as some staff seem to struggle to understand English. However, I understand that quite a few new staff members arrived in early December and are still being trained. Monika, one of the resort's managers, was outstanding and really looked after us. We enjoyed all our interactions with her. The only slight niggle is the high cost of some of the activities. We would have liked to have done some of them, but the cost was prohibitive.

Tamarind Village, Thailand

We all had an amazing holiday that completely exceeded our expectations. Any niggles we had were very minor. We stayed here for three nights over New Year. The hotel is right in the heart of Chiang Mai and the famous walking market is right outside the door, so the location is brilliant and once inside the hotel it's hard to imagine the hustle and bustle outside. We travelled as a family and stayed in a Lanna suite and a Lanna room. They weren't interconnecting but were next door to each other. This may be a problem for people with younger children. Each day the hotel ran activities on the lawn for children, which I thought was a nice touch. The hotel breakfast was good and the kids loved their morning eggs and pancakes. Each member of staff we met was very friendly, smiley and couldn't do enough to help us. We had a fabulous time on New Year's Eve, with a delicious banquet around the pool and lanterns on the water. The staff had spent all day preparing and the tables all looked stunning. We had a great meal and then went into Chiang Mai. Thousands of lanterns were released into the sky from about 9:00pm until after midnight. It was an incredible sight that will stay with me forever. We also went to one of the temples and heard the monks chanting, which was a great contrast to other parts of Chiang Mai.. We decided to go back to the hotel for the new year countdown. By the time we got back, everyone was dancing along to the band and it was quite amusing watching from our table. So all in all, we had a great time. The only negative was cockerels and dogs barking. This started at 4:00am and carried on until after 10:00am. We spoke to the hotel about it, but obviously there was nothing they could do and there were no spare rooms to move us to. They gave us ear plugs, but these didn't really help. If you're a light sleeper, this may be a problem for you. Aside from this, the Tamarind Village is a fab boutique hotel and in a brilliant location, with helpful staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending you to friends. The thought and effort you put into structuring the holiday made it perfect and I will definitely come back to you in the future for other trips.

Six Senses Laamu, Maldives

We cannot thank Nick and April enough from Turquoise. From the very beginning Nick was incredibly experienced and professional and listened to exactly what we wanted. They gave interesting insight and made us aware of fantastic offers. He was extremely prompt, not at all pushy and helped us more than we ever expected. April, who organised our gift registry, was very professional and efficient and made the whole process effortless. We would highly recommend Turquoise and will certainly be booking through them again!

Shanti Maurice, Mauritius

The Shanti Maurice really was a little bit of heaven, the hotel, the staff and the food...WOW!! It really was a different world. We loved it! They upgraded us on arrival to a beach front room it was just perfect. We only left the hotel on two of the days to see the Island there is so much to do with the Spa, the beautiful beach and pools. I have to say it really was the best holiday ever we loved every minute. Its been really hard coming back home to reality ;) Thank you Sue for all your help and for recommending these beautiful places we will definitely be back in touch when we plan our next exotic location ;) Kind Regards.

Baros Maldives, Maldives

We absolutely loved the paradise that is Baros and we were spoilt with incredible food and drinks as well as beautiful blue waters. Our Deluxe villa was a little tired and we expressed this to our host and he informed us that we were in one of the few villas yet to be updated. Overall we had an absolutely wonderful stay and we loved the fishing trip, private dining on the sandbank that my brother surprised us with, spa treatments and the meal at the lighthouse was beautiful. (we did this when the jazz night was on, Fridays) Snorkelling also, fabulous.

Velassaru, Maldives

As for Velassaru, again we can not express our feelings about the island, its staff, our accommodation and incredible beauty. The over water villa exceeded our expectations by a very long way, along with the exceptional service and friendliness of the staff. The cleanliness and attention to detail made for a honeymoon of our lifetimes, and for this we have you to thank. The arrival, transfers and welcome to the island was personal and exclusive, is was very exciting and magical. We had the most amazing time, with memories we will never forget, we had a private dining experience with our own satay bbq chef, with tables and chairs built into the sand. We enjoyed the 30 mins (which ended being at least 50 mins) photo shoot with Mahidh, who was wonderful and we came away with some stunning images of us both to remember our time there. We dined at the Sand restaurant, and all the food including the vast array of choices at breakfast were sublime! The bottle of bubbles in our villa upon arrival, along with the spa voucher and tapas (with more bubbles) was so wonderful. My new husband treated me to the Indian head massage which was so much more than I expected with an hour of indulgence, and use of all spa facilities. We took the complimentary morning boat ride, which was a great way to view the island from further away and was pure relaxation. The evening entertainment in the Fen bar, was exquisite with chilled bands playing songs we knew, including requests, and we very much enjoyed the Sunday movie played whilst enjoying popcorn and cocktails (the cocktails were the best we have ever had!) Jerry who looked after us there was so friendly as were all the team on the island, who never failed to be attentive but discrete allowing you to totally relax. The beach, pool, bars, shop, restaurants, villa, transfers were so magical in both experience and professional friendliness, combined with the work you did for us made for the most incredible honeymoon experience we could have ever wished for. Even the farewell wave off the island from the staff made us feel special and we both believe it was the best time of our lives!

The Residence Mauritius, Mauritius

I would like to thank Grace for all the help she gave us with organising our honeymoon. We told her what we were looking for and she knew exactly what would be right for us. We had the best trip filled with amazing memories from a meal on the beach to the sailing trip. We didn't see much of the island so it has given us an incentive to go back. The hotel was just beautiful and the staff could not do more for you. I have already recommended Grace and the team to several friends arranging their honeymoons and will definitely be using them again ourselves. Best wishes The Reynolds.

Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius

We would like to thank Melissa and Turquoise for this wonderful and memorable trip. From the booking to the resort and after, everything was so easy and stress free. Thank you Melissa for having patience and accommodating to my hectic schedule. The resort was breathtaking and the staff so lovely. We had a all inclusive package which was the best option as the food at the resort was fresh and amazing! We are defiantly going back to the same resort in a few years. The only down side was the airline Air Mauritius as we are tall people their seats were so tiny. However the staff on board helped us feel more comfortable with their great costumer service. I would 100% recommend turquoise holidays to all of my friends and will use them again in the future Kindest regards The Adajes

Constance Le Prince Maurice, Mauritius

Le Prince Maurice was something else! The service and attention to detail were absolutely out of this world. We had a week of relaxation. Dave made extensive use of both golf courses at Belle Mare Plage whilst I lay on the beach. I had a wonderful massage at the spa and also managed to make use of the gym (which had a really good range of equipment for a small hotel). We did not have a bad meal and the hotel arranged a special dinner one evening at La Barachois which was so lovely of them. We would return to Le Prince Maurice in a heartbeat, thank you so much for the recommendation - you were completely right! Thank you for all your help. You arranged a fantastic holiday that was exactly what we needed.

Westin Mina Seyahi Beach Resort, Dubai

The Westin was such a good base for us in Dubai. We arrived there at 9:30 on the Friday morning, we were given a voucher for breakfast and by the time we had eaten a room was ready for us, which we really appreciated. The room itself had possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in and we both had some 9 hour sleeps (a rarity nowadays!) we will definitely be returning to The Westin next time we are in Dubai.

Velassaru, Maldives

This really was a once in a life time destination. (Although I am trying to convince Graham that we should go back for our 1st anniversary and our 5th and 6th and 10th ha ha ha) Graham and I have stayed in some pretty special places in the world but this really does top them all. And thank you to Donna for making the recommendation of only going bed and breakfast as it did work out much cheaper by saving us almost £1000. The food we would say was all Michelin quality but also has the nice price tags to go with it so as long as you let people know to pay about £80pp for an evening meal. And I’m vegetarian and had basic meals. But we were a little worried before we went that the 5* reviews wouldn’t live up to our expectations but they exceeded them and we thought we might get bored being there for 6 days, but oh no we didn’t want to leave and still had so much more that we wanted to do. This Island really did take our breath away. We loved our Beach Bungalow and 222 we decided after seeing the others was the best and the sea was more turquoise this side aswell. My partner was dubious moving to a water bungalow for our last 2 nights but said it was the best thing we did with our own little pool. Highly recommend doing the 2 different room types if people are not sure or can’t afford it for the whole duration of their stay. We will certainly be recommending Turquoise to everyone and we will certainly use you in the future to help with certain trips as this Holiday our Honeymoon was exceptional and we will always be grateful for your services and booking it for us.

The Residence Maldives, Maldives

Ii can only say this was the best most relaxed holiday we have ever had Tom sorted everything and had been to the resort him self and helped us choose meal plan etc The food and staff and service was outstanding we choose all inclusive in the end. And was definitely the correct choice The villa was amazing and if you can stretch to extra cost it's worth every penny The flights are long and we were tired on arrival how ever the welcome from meeting us at the small airport to the speed boat transfer and arrival the staff make you feel very special indeed I can only recommend the resort to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy each other's company in pure luxury and calm And to Tom for arranging everything and making sure everything he promised it would be it was amazing. Thank you Tom

Banyan Tree Bangkok, Thailand

We had an amazing holiday to Thailand. Grace (who we booked it with) was brilliant from start to finish - she listened to what we wanted and put together an amazing holiday package which was true luxury. She was also right there on the emails to help us when we got a little confused about one of our transfers. We stayed in three beautiful hotels, all with brilliant service, food and atmosphere and we really didn't have to worry about anything as we were looked after so well. Sam and I would highly recommend Turquoise, especially for those looking for that extra special holiday.

Ol Seki Hemingways Mara Camp, Kenya

Ol Seki was superb in particular, we really could not fault the place in any way. All in all we had a magical honeymoon and were hugely impressed with the Turquoise service, something we have passed on to family members looking to book trips in the near future. Many thanks to you Chris for all your efforts in making it happen.

Ulagalla, Sri Lanka

We had such a wonderful honeymoon from start to finish! We started in Galle, Sri Lanka where we stayed in The Fortress which was a fantastic hotel right by the sea. The perfect place to relax after the wedding! We then made our way to Ulagalla and stayed in a villa in the middle of the jungle which was wonderful... We made the most of all the activities on offer including jungle kayaking, horse riding, spa and archery and spent a lot more time actually in the grounds of the hotel than we would normally, simply because there was so much fun stuff to do! Highlights of our time in Sri Lanka included a fantastic elephant safari in Minnerya National Park and going to the top of Sigirya Rock which had phenomenal views! Then we took our flights to The Residence, Maldives... We arrived in the dark but when we opened our bedroom curtains on the first morning... WOW! It is BEAUTIFUL! Spent lots of time snorkelling, sunbathing and swimming - bliss! Thank you for planning the trip of a lifetime for us!

LUX* Belle Mare, Mauritius

Had an amazing 2 stage honeymoon, firstly at the Makanyane Sanctuary in the Kruga national park, South Africa and secondly at the LUX* Belle Mare resort in Mauritius. Can't recommend Turquoise enough, very helpful and accommodating. Both parts of the honeymoon were amazing, but the Makanyane Sanctuary has to stand out as the best part for sheer amazement of the safari experience and the stay at the sanctuary itself. I have left reviews on trip advisor for both places... https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g471868-d507658-r418589742-Sanctuary_Makanyane_Safari_Lodge-Madikwe_Game_Reserve_North_West_Province.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g298342-d316743-r418572560-LUX_Belle_Mare-Belle_Mare.html Thanks for your help, will definitely recommend Turquoise!

Gili Lankanfushi, Maldives

We both had very high expectations for Gili Lankanfushi and those expectations were surpassed in every possible way. We can see why it has so many glowing reviews!! Every aspect of the stay was well organised, clearly thought out and made to feel personal. All of the staff were very welcoming, happy to suggest parts of the island to explore or recommend activities. We particularly enjoyed two snorkelling trips with one of the Marine Biologists who was very friendly and informative. We also had a great chocolate and wine tasting session with the new sommelier (not hampered in the slightest by the cave being out of action I’m pleased to say). The whole stay was very relaxed but we felt that there was plenty to do and lots of things left to explore for next time (I hope!). One aspect which Gili staff seemed very good at was the little extras, a few examples include: providing sun cream by the pool; popcorn and soft drinks at the jungle cinema; driving to collect us from activities when it was raining; and leaf origami as part of the turndown service. The food and drink options at Gili were great, lots of variety, different themes and styles every night and lots of fresh fish. We had a particularly good evening at the By The Sea restaurant. Our villa was great, very spacious with plenty of sunbathing/sea life spotting areas and very comfortable to stay in. We would love to visit Gili Lankanfushi again for another special holiday. Overall, we were very impressed with the service offered by Turquoise. It was very helpful speaking with you prior to booking our trip and we appreciated the extra touches such as emailing and texting in the week before to check whether we had any questions. The tickets and information pack we received beforehand set the tone for our trip; all of the information was provided, everything was easy to identify and the transfers at the airport were seamless. We will definitely be recommending Turquoise to our friends and hope to book another trip with you in the future.

Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa, Dubai

From the greeting with fresh juice and cold towels, to the surprise private dinner on the first night, the level of service at Al Maha was exceptional. Every member of staff was friendly, polite and helpful. As honeymooners, we enjoyed being called Mr and Mrs Robson for the first time! Our villa was the perfect size for relaxing during the day and we enjoyed the fantastic views from our private pool out over the desert. An extra touch which we really liked was that binoculars were provided in the room. I had initially thought that we might spot some gazelle or oryx if we were lucky. It soon became clear that they are all over the resort and it was very special so see the gazelle drinking from our pool. Inside the villa, we thought that the rooms were well decorated, very clean and spacious (fantastic bathroom). The staff who performed the morning refreshment and the turndown service were lovely and very unobtrusive. Three nights felt like the perfect amount of time to spend at the resort. We were very relaxed by then and might have burst from eating so much lovely food if we had stayed any longer! That said, there were plenty of activities that we didn’t try so I can see how one could go back numerous times. The food was a particular highlight, all absolutely delicious, plenty of choice and substantial portions. There were also plenty of drinks options with every meal. The only activity we dragged ourselves away from the pool for was the sunset camel ride which was beautiful and very well led. Overall, we loved Al Maha and struggled to see how the honeymoon could get better as we left.

Constance Ephelia , Seychelles

The Constance Ephelia Resort in Seychelles was very nice as well. The grounds were well kept, plenty of lounge chairs available by the pool and beach. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly. We ate at all but 1 of the restaurants within the resort, the food was so so. We found the buffet at The Corossol (open for breakfast and dinner) was the best option. Each night they offered a different cuisine, the food was very good the nights we went with a wide selection of desserts and fruit etc.

Sanctuary Makanyane, South Africa

Firstly, we enjoyed both SA and Seychelles however our stay at the Sanctuary Makanyane Lodge was the highlight of the trip. The staff was so helpful, friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing, 5 star's for sure! The rooms were clean with stunning views of the river. The game drives exceeded all expectations. Our ranger, Darren was so knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we saw the Big 5. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience.

Uma Ubud, Indonesia

We chose to use Turquoise for our honeymoon. Right from the get go Tom was very helpful and attentive, even when we changed our minds several times! The two hotels we stayed in were excellent and the assistance we received from Tom throughout the booking process and holiday was excellent.

Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa, Seychelles

We have not long been back from our honeymoon and I would just like to take the time to say what an absolutely fantastic time we had. The island was absolutely beautiful and our accommodation couldn't have been better. A bungalow right on the beach with everything you could ask for, they had thought of everything. The service was impeccable, the best we have ever had! There was a range of different cuisine to choose from and it was all very tasty. The pool area was lush an the whole feel and atmosphere of the place was lovely and pristine. The weather wasn't the best as there had been a hurricane in the Indian Ocean so we got the back end of that so it was very windy with intermittent sun. This didn't spoil our trip though, it just couldn't where we were. It is very expensive as most things are imported so would recommend half board. Overall it was the best place we could have asked for, for our honeymoon and would recommend to anyone. Grace was brilliant from start to finish. I felt in good hands and trusted that she had recommended us the best resort and she really had. Grace did a brilliant job and I cant thank her enough. Everything was set out perfectly for us and all ran smoothly. Many thanks Aimee and Stan Collins

Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, Tahiti

What a stunning location! Bora Bora totally lives up to it's reputation and the four seasons resort could not do enough to make our stay more welcoming and personalised. From the boat that comes to pick you up from the airport, to the hand written notes in our overwater bungalow, the trip did not disappoint in anyway. We loved Moorea and enjoyed hiking around the island, though the transfer to the Hilton was something that could have felt more special and personalised. Michelle was superb in the timely way she responded to all our questions and provided options along the way. If we could have upgraded our flight from LA to Tahiti, that is truly the only thing that would have added to the experience. Thank you Michelle & Turquoise for a trip of a lifetime and memories that will last forever! Sabrina & Ben

Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius

Our honeymoon was a dream come true. We have never been somewhere so breath taking and beautiful. From begin to end the trip, it did not disappoint, we truly felt we made some of the most precious memories, that will carry with us through our entire lives. The trip began with our wonderful experience at the VIP lounge at Heathrow airport, one of the many generous gift purchased for us of the Turquoise gift list. Down to the flights that were organised to perfection in terms of timing and seating, as a nervous flyer I felt incredibly comfortably and at ease flying with Emirates, even with the incident at Dubai traveling home. The hotel was everything we could ever of dreamt of the perfect location for a romantic honeymoon, the staff were extremely helpful and attentive with a wide variety of restaurants and water activities. The boat trip which was also purchased on our gift list was one of the best days of our honeymoon, it was a wonderful experience to explore the beautiful island of Mauritius by sea and get to experience the The entire experiences was fantastic. We are extremely happy with the services of Turquoise Holidays, it being the first time we ever booked a holiday though the company we were feeling very satisfied with the service provided and can't wait to book our next holiday with you. Thank you very much for our beautiful gift of a wooden heart with Mauritius island printed on it what a thoughtful gift that will take pride of plan in our new married home together. We can't thank you enough for all your hard work and thoughtful gestures. All we can simply say is..... Thank you!

Spa Village Resort Tembok Bali, Indonesia

This honeymoon was hitch free bliss that combined HK & Bali over 3 hotels. We had the time of our lives. Hannah couldn't have done more for us, she was polite, quick to respond with any questions and very attentive. We *will* be using you/her again in the future. We went to the Harbour Grand in HK, Uma by COMO and the Spa Village Resort Tembok in Bali. This was a honeymoon of a lifetime. In each instance, the staff were spot on, the locations were cracking and the food was all amazing. We want to go back!!

The Pavilions Bali, Indonesia

The final resort the Pavilions in Sanur was incredible. Our villa with a pool surpassed our expectations and we had a butler come and make breakfast for us every morning. The staff were just wonderful and very helpful. We also found the prices of food, drinks and the spa very reasonable at the Pavilions given the level of luxury and fantastic service. We also visited a wonderful little turtle rehabilitation centre not too far from Sanur and got to release a baby turtle into the sea. The beach in Sanur itself is not fantastic but it is a great location to explore south Bali and there are so many fantastic places nearby to see. However there are some great restaurants and bars within very close proximity to the hotel which was great (as the Pavillions is down a small road off the main strip it is very very quiet and peaceful despite all the local amenities).

Qunci Villas, Indonesia

The Qunci villas hotel in Lombok was lovely too with a great location on the beach. Lombok is absolutely beautiful and much quieter and less touristy than Bali. It is also very clean! We did some day trips to some of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen (We would highly recommend trips to Gili Nanggu Island and Selong Balanak Beach).

Uma Ubud, Indonesia

The first hotel Uma by Como was superb. It was such a calm and beautiful retreat from the buzz of Ubud. The facilities were amazing (particularly the restaurants) and the staff were just wonderful. They really went out of their way to make us feel special and all learnt our names. We were given a voucher to use towards the spa for our honeymoon. The spa was wonderful; we can both honestly say they were the best massages we have ever had. We also took part in the free morning walk and yoga class which were also fantastic and very calming. The staff were very mindful of Liam's nut allergy and let him have anything he wanted off the a la carte menu on the Indonesian set menu evening. The Uma room was amazing; really big light and airy and beautifully decorated. We also got a free bottle of wine on our first night and a flower petal bath had been drawn for us. The airlines had delayed our baggage when we first arrived and the hotel took care of it all for us and the facilities were so good it meant we did not even miss our bags the first night!

The Residence Maldives, Maldives

The Residence Maldives was paradise! The service and staff were incredible all making us feel really welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Again the food was delicious at all 3 places to eat, but Falhumaa restaurant was a great experience and some of the best food we have ever eaten! The Robinson Crusoe island experience was a once in a live time on our own private island having a picnic! Unbelievable! The snorkelling at the resort was great too, the fishes were really colourful and once you got to the end there was a big drop and loads of fish, we saw a turtle & some people even saw sharks!

Anantara Rasananda, Thailand

Anantara was absolutely beautiful. They make you feel so special and we really appreciated all the little extras (free massages, cooking lesson, wine, honeymoon set up). It felt very luxurious and worth every penny. They have so many staff who are so friendly and nothing is a problem for them. The food at Anantara is out of this world. The most amazing breakfasts I’ve ever had. We had dinner there one evening which was absolutely magical – overlooking the beach, live singer, spectacular food – was really special.

Sanctuary Makanyane, South Africa

The staff at Makanyane were just wonderful, they were so incredibly welcoming from the very start when they rolled out a special lunch for us and settled us into our accommodation. The lodge was just fantastic, so incredibly homely – we wanted to stay for longer. Dylan, our safari guide was superb and incredibly knowledgeable, and actually due to timing it was actually just us and him for 4 of our 7 game drives, which was excellent. We managed to see 4 of the big 5 – which means we have to go back of course, and would absolutely go back to Makanyane at the drop of a hat. We also enjoyed some treatments, and had probably the best massages we’ve ever had – well worth it.

The Peninsula Bangkok, Thailand

We had the most amazing holiday in Thailand. Hotels, excursions, transfers were spot on exactly what we asked for. Great memories created for my family to treasure.

LUX* Le Morne, Mauritius

Both my husband and I would like to thank you so much for making our 30th wedding anniversary such a memorable one with the first class service we received from your company. From beginning to end we were treated more as friends than just someone on the end of the phone booking a holiday. This was evident again with the secret phone calls to Sophie with our daughter to book a surprise meal on the beach for us. We have never experienced such great customer service from a travel company before and would most definitely recommend you to anybody thinking of booking a special holiday. The quality presentation of your travel documents and welcome home gift were also very appreciated and the whole experience has made this for us a very special memory. Thank you.

The Samaya Seminyak, Indonesia

We’ve just arrived back from our amazing honeymoon to Singapore and Bali. Thank you for helping us make it extra special. From the initial easy booking process and the quick and consistent communications right up until our departure, it has been a really stress-free process in what can be a really stressful time. Anything that makes it a little easier is always appreciated and it all went to plan. Amy and I can’t thank you and the team enough The hotel recommendations were perfect for what we were looking for and for this we are really grateful. The gift list service worked really well and we really liked the way that you can customise your gift list page and send thank you messages via the portal Thank you again. I would highly recommend you to anyone wanting a unique and professional travel experience at a reasonable cost with as little worry about it all working out as planned. We will certainly be using Turquoise again

Constance Lémuria, Seychelles

From the very beginning the service provided by Ruth and Turquoise was wonderful. After making an initial enquiry, the depth of knowledge about the area and resorts was clear. Ruth put together a honeymoon package that was absolutely perfect at the Constance Lemuria on Praslin and was a great deal. It was really comforting to know that everything was taken care of from start to finish when you're dealing with all of the other panics of wedding planning. Ruth even called us on our day of departure to wish us a wonderful trip...fabulous service! We will definitely use them again in the future. The Constance Lemuria on Praslin in the Seychelles was the most perfect honeymoon destination. Neither of us had visited the Seychelles before, but had been sold by the pictures of tropical paradise - and Lemuria did not disappoint. We received a wonderful welcome by staff, which was especially welcome after a long flight. Our suite was spacious and fantastically positioned, right next to the beach. With three beaches - including the stunning Anse Georgette - and three swimming pools, as well as the golf course, spa and gym and tennis courts, there was plenty to keep us occupied. The food was also stunningly good across all three restaurants. More than anything, however, it was the service that made this honeymoon so special. From little things like rose petals and candles in our suite, to a lovely treat when the management took us up to the 18th tee for sundowner drinks and canapés, we felt utterly looked after from start to finish. We would heartily recommend the Seychelles, Praslin and Constance Lemuria for anyone in search of that once-in-a-lifetime special trip.

The Residence Mauritius, Mauritius

In total we spent five days exploring the island and the rest in and around the hotel, and for us that was just the right balance. The hotel was not particularly full the first week and we really enjoyed the relaxed ambience but to get a true flavour of Mauritius you should make the effort to get out and about a bit. During the second week the hotel got noticeably busier, with a few more families, but it still managed to maintain a relaxed sense of serenity which we both loved and by alternating pool days with our activity days we achieved the best of both worlds. The best meals we had were the two lunches at the Rhumerie ( I love that place!) but the meals at the Plantation Restaurant at the hotel were a pretty close second. Most of the time we ate at the Verandah where the food was perfectly acceptable and on some nights delicious, but I don't think buffets can really compete with A la Carte. Breakfasts on the Verandah were a real treat, a great way to start the day. We definitely intend to return, probably in 2018, and probably to the Residence although we are also pondering on whether we should try the West Coast next time, but we have plenty time to decide. Finally, a big thank you to Turquoise for organising such a memorable holiday, especially as we had to postpone it twice. You were a pleasure to deal with at all times and your advice helped ensure that we chose the hotel and package that was perfect for us. I will have no hesitation recommending you to our friends.

Qunci Villas, Indonesia

Once we arrived at Qunci Villas we were pretty much shown around and we were impressed with the pool villa! what a hotel, I thought Uma was great for dining but when we eventually ventured out of the villa/room the surrounding scenery was amazing and even better when dining in the evening by the sea with the different types of themed meals they do. We mostly just chilled out for the last week sunbathing, eating and drinking. Was really good to relax and unwind from all the wedding organising. All in all we have had the holiday of a lifetime! It was fantastic and we'd definitely go back to Bali. We explored and relaxed which is exactly what we wanted. The hotels, weather and locations were spot on and we couldn’t fault them at all. The Destination Asia guides were all very friendly and polite and we we're lucky to have them with us showing us around.

Uma Ubud, Indonesia

Uma Hotel was fantastic; I don't think you could get better or friendlier staff in a hotel. Being a small hotel we felt known by everyone as they knew our names and on passing always asked how we were and if they could do anything for us. We looked forward to the breakfast every morning! it was quality good clean food everyday and the staff were always there to fill our cups and glasses up! Absolute beautiful location for dining and chilling out. We took advantage of the Spa and the pool bar on the days we just wanted to relax and catch up on resting.

Banyan Tree Samui, Thailand

This place was, quite simply, my version of heaven on Earth. From the minute we arrived at the spectacularly situated lobby that overlooks the resort’s private cove and beach you could sense all stress dissipating. The thrill of being driven to our own villa in a golf buggy, up and down some rather steep terrain was like being on a fairground ride and also like having a personal chauffer in one. And when we stepped through the doors of our villa onto a private deck, with pool, hot tub and a view to die for – I was ready to never, ever leave. Every detail, from the roses and swans on the bed, to the rose petal bath already drawn, and the honeymoon cake awaiting our arrival, just made us feel like royalty. And that feeling continued for the entire week. The extraordinarily high ceilings of the villa and powerful air conditioning made the room an oasis from the heat and every morning and evening we gave into the temptation to enjoy time on the deck and in the pool and hot tub. The Ocean View that we paid a bit extra for, were worth it. Completely worth it. In addition to the villa, we booked into the Rainforest hydrotherapy treatment at the Spa and had couples massage. The Rainforest experience was truly unique and something that we shared and will always look back onto fondly. We also enjoyed dinner and drinks at The Sands restaurant on the beach several nights in addition to venturing out to one of the few local restaurants within walking distance. The service was exceptional, exemplified by my clumsiness (sprained my ankle) and the attentiveness of our personal villa host who went and found ice and a wrap in record time. The entire resort seemed to know I was the 'ankle girl' and they even sent a special cart to drive us around when we needed to get places. I was impressed. The only disappointment for the entire trip was the group snorkelling tour that was booked through the hotel. There was nothing actually wrong with the tour, but it was less of a snorkelling tour and more of an island hopping experience. However, for the relatively low cost, it was ok. In hindsight we probably would have spent a tad more and done one of the other recommended tours from Tripdvisor with a smaller boat.

Elephant Hills Tented Jungle Camps, Thailand

The hotel and room was a dream. Being on the Club Level offered us flexibility and top service and we even received a surprise birthday cake for my husband’s big day, which was the day after we arrived. Yum! This was our most anticipated part of the honeymoon, as it was an adventure beyond any relatable experience either of us had before. Feeding and washing the elephants was truly wonderful and we enjoyed it even more than originally expected. (see video) However, both of us agreed that the highlight was the floating camp. Swimming and kayaking in the lake, surrounded by peaceful wilderness was truly spiritual. And the intense jungle downpour and thunderstorm that we had in the evening just added to the overall experience. It was dramatic, exciting and really gave us a sense of isolation, which is what two Londoners didn’t know we really needed.

Banyan Tree Bangkok, Thailand

The hotel and room was a dream. Being on the Club Level offered us flexibility and top service and we even received a surprise birthday cake for my husband’s big day, which was the day after we arrived. Yum! As I had the misfortune to get pretty sudden food poisoning on my second day, I got to enjoy our lovely suite a bit more than we had planned and had to sacrifice tourist time in Bangkok :( However, having access to lounge meant that my partner could go lazy about there with a beer as I recovered from a rather miserable 24 hours.

Velassaru, Maldives

I can not stress enough how amazing our Honeymoon was. My Wife only found out we were going on our wedding day at the meal! I had done the impossible and kept a huge suprise for 3 months! She thought she was going to America!! I knew i wanted to take Danielle to the Maldives and set about finding who to book through, Turquoise came up as a brilliant company to book through and i have no regrets! Laura, From day one you have made the entire experience effortless! You helped me choose an Amazing Island, Velassaru. All our flights, transfers, accommodation, everything was sorted through you. Even when all the paperwork had been done and everything arrived i decided to modify my flights and upgrade.....not a problem for Laura. Everything was changed and re sent out. Brilliant. The amount of emails we sent also was no issue, i asked a lot of questions! This is 100% the best experience i have ever had with anyone when it comes to booking abroad. High Praise to Laura again! As far as we can say you have been part of our wedding Adventure. Turquoise You Rock! Thankyou for a Honeymoon to remember forever! We will definatly be using Turquoise again! Adam & Danielle

Kicheche Bush Camp, Kenya

We have recently returned from our honeymoon organized by Hannah. We cannot speak highly enough of Hannah who was not only a pleasure to deal with but created and organized the most amazing trip for us. Whilst the accommodation (in Kenya and Seychelles) was excellent what we'd like to mention is how smoothly and well organized all of our transfers were. Especially as we were impacted by late changes from the airlines (out of Turquoise's control). Thank you so much Hannah.

PER AQUUM Huvafen Fushi, Maldives

Grace from Turquoise was fantastic in helping us deciding which resort to book in Maldives for our honeymoon. There were so many amazing looking resorts and Grace answered all our questions in details and provided very useful advice for us to choose a perfect resort that fits all our criteria & budget. The half board package quoted was much better than us booking the trip ourselves. The itinerary was also well organised and we received all the information we needed in a nice pack before departure. As we were so busy organising our wedding Grace has really made the honeymoon planning completely stress free for us. The honeymoon could not be more perfect! our resort Huvafen Fushi is a beautiful small island and can be reached by speedboat within 35 minutes from Male. On arrival we were greeted by a local band and assigned a personal assistant and a nokia phone to call our PA for anything we need! Our PA Makif is a really lovely guy and he would find us every day to see if we need anything / brief us of activities of the day. All the staffs on the island are so attentive and friendly and they remember our names and always helped us before we asked. We had never been to another resort / hotel that provides better services. The island itself is as stunning as all the images we saw before departure and our water villa is luxurious with our private infinitely pool and direct access into the ocean. We were also super impressed about the food at Celsius restaurant that's included in our half board package. The food is comparable if not better than some of the best restaurants we've been in London. Huvafen Fushi is surrounded by house reef and we only had to swim for a few metres from the beach to see coral garden and fish. This is a huge bonus for us because we don't scuba dive. We also fed stingrays a few times which is one of the most unique experiences ever! This is a premium five star resort and is perfect for honeymoon as it truly feels very intimate and personal. There are a lot of effort made to make every guest feel special. The island size is small so there aren't many activities for children. This is a romantic island to relax and spend time with your special one! We cannot thank Grace from Turquoise enough for making our perfect honeymoon happen. We would definitely use them again & recommend them to friends & family.

Shanti Maurice, Mauritius

Thank you so much for arranging our booking at the Shanti Maurice. The hotel was amazing and such a great place to stay for a honeymoon particularly as it wasn't too busy and the hotel wasn't too big. The food was delicious and the staff looked after us very well. We will definitely be going back!

Six Senses Samui, Thailand

My husband and I have recently returned from our honeymoon on Koh Samui in Thailand staying at the Six Senses resort. We booked this through Turquoise Holidays and our travel specialist was Carl Howells. The service we received from Carl was exceptional. The initial contact through the website which is really easy to navigate was very friendly and informative. There was certainly never any sense of a hard sell, it felt very much like Carl and the company just wanted to help us achieve a perfect vacation. It really helped that Carl had such extensive knowledge of the areas we were considering going to as he gave us some really useful information and we actually changed our minds in terms of which island we wanted to stay at because of his advice regarding the weather. The quotes we received were very competitive, that combined with the advice, knowledge and just a feeling that nothing is too much trouble prompted us to book with Turquoise Holidays. The support didn’t stop there, Carl contacted us by telephone before we left as well as the usual letters and confirmation and he took care of reserving a special table at the hotel. There were some little touches that just made me smile, which I won’t mention as it would spoil the surprise, but always bound by turquoise ribbon! There was even a congratulatory cake on the flight to Singapore and a glass of champagne. When we returned home Carl followed up to check we had an amazing time and to update their knowledge of the resort with our experiences. He also offered to help in any way with a problem we had while we were returning with one of the flights. Personally, we found Carl to be very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, attentive and with the ability just to make you feel good and positive after speaking to him which I am sure isn’t in his job description! Nothing negative to say, it is the best holiday company we have ever used. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anybody.

Le Taha'a Island Resort & Spa, Tahiti

All the small details really do make a difference. The itinerary was so well done and was handy for us to refer to during our trip. The premium packaging makes it all that extra bit special. The holiday tags were so so handy too!!! Made it much easier to find our bags every time we landed. I'm so glad we visited the other islands per your recommendation rather than move from hotel to hotel in bora bora. We loved the hilton moorea, it was a nice place to start the FP trip. We loved taha'a and how quiet it was. The hotel was really impressive and lovely to walk around and the coral garden was amazing. Only issue there was the number of mosquitos. But the dinner and breakfast was amazing and the staff are superb. Bora bora was probably our favourite. The water is incredible and the snorkelling and diving there was awesome. Butler service and choice of restaurants is really nice too. Loved the LA trip too. Only negative to mention is that I didn't realise the hotel parking in Santa Monica wasn't free. It was a fairly hefty hit which I didn't expect. In terms of preference, I preferred chilled out Santa Monica compared to wear Hollywood. Overall, it was an unforgettable honeymoon. Can't think of a better place to have visited and you did an incredible job arranging it all. We will definitely recommend you to friends and family.

The Samaya Ubud, Indonesia

On arrival we were greeted by our driver who couldn't do enough for us and made sure we had refreshments in the car after our long flights. We arrived at the Samaya Ubud around 2am and as it was late check in was dealt with efficiently much to our pleasure. Staff were very welcoming and were extremely pleasant. The following morning the staff gave us a tour of the hotel in one of the golf buggies they have there. These came in very useful as parts of the resort had very steep hills! Facilities at Ubud were fantastic, we used the spa there and had the most wonderful massages overlooking the river. The food during our stay was very good and it was obvious a lot of care had been taken when preparing the dishes. The lanterns on the river at dinner time was also a lovely touch. We took full advantage of the complimentary daily afternoon tea, each day was different to the previous. The general manager introduced himself to us one morning at breakfast, he was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed which was nice of him. We visited the elephant park in Taro and the monkey forest both of which were organised through the hotel reception. The villa in Ubud was amazing, we had fantastic views of the rice fields and the mountains. The garden/pool area were very inviting and we spent a few afternoons there. Room/butler service were great also. The transfer to Seminyak was handled well and the hotel asked us what time we would like to leave rather than being told a certain time. On arrival in Seminyak we were greeted with flower garlands and a welcome drink. Our luggage was sent directly to out room and we were given the resort tour. The villa here was much larger with a bathroom that was bigger than my flat! Pool/garden area was nice but you do feel a little enclosed. That didn't matter too much to us though as the huge communal pool and beach area made up for it. Staff were very attentive and regularly bought over iced drinks and fruit salads during the day. We ventured out a few times for dinner but we mainly ate the restaurant in the hotel as the food was superb! The free shuttle service in both hotels to the local towns were brilliant, private air conditioned mini vans with a polite driver each time. These cars were so useful as normal we would spend a fortune on taxi trying to get around everywhere.

Azura Quilalea, Mozambique

Congratulations Turquoise have delivered a holiday, an experience and a celebration of a lifetime. Thank you so much for pulling this altogether and everything went to immaculate precision. I think the schedule of splitting the stay at Quilalea with the adventure of the dhow safari worked perfectly and importantly the division of time between the two was just right. So many great memories to hold which will last with all the family forever and all thanks to Turquoise.

Baraza , Zanzibar

We visited Baraza June 2016 for our honeymoon and this place just blew us away! We were initially attracted as we wanted a tranquil, luxurious escape for our honeymoon. This place is just paradise! We stayed in a beachfront villa, which was beautiful. A great size, beautifully decorated with a plunge pool and a 10 second walk to our reserved sunbeds. I think that if you are more of a pool person, the other villas are a little more private with a larger pool so thats something to consider. The service at Baraza is truly exceptional, nothing is too much, the staff are very attentive wherever you are (be it in your villa, by the pool, by the beach etc) The food was absolutely beautiful, the fresh seafood was sublime! We were so spoilt as we had 2 private dining experiences. We were suprised one evening by the hotel with a private poolside dinner and the next day a private BBQ lunch on the beach! We felt very special. Overall, it was a dream come true honeymoon. The staff and food were highlights, they are all incredible! Sophie was a wonderful contact for us, initially we were pretty indecisive about our location and she was always really helpful and gave us great advice. The way our confirmation, tickets etc were packaged was beautiful, really made it feel special. We also returned from our honeymoon to a lovely little package with a little keepsake enclosed. It really felt so personal, so thank you so much.

Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort, Saint Lucia

My husband and I have just returned from the Honeymoon of a lifetime at Sugar Beach in Saint Lucia. Booking with Ruth was great, she had brilliant knowledge of the area and the hotel, and everything was exactly as we had expected when we arrived. We got an upgrade on our accommodation which was a lovely surprise. The resort was incredible, I really couldn't fault it at all. The butler service was invaluable - upon arrival my husband was unwell and the butler arranged for us to speak to a doctor. All staff then seemed to be made aware that he was unwell as everyone was checking that he was okay and asking if they could help at all. The next day our butler arranged a taxi to take us to a pharmacy in Soufriere town, unfortunately we weren't able to get medication without a prescription so when we arrived back at the resort our butler ensured that we weren't charged for our taxi, arranged for us to speak to the doctor again to get a prescription sorted and then went out himself to collect the medication and bring this back to us. Once my husband was feeling better we were truly able to make the most of the trip. The snorkelling was incredible, the beach was spotless and never crowded, the pool was one of the best I've ever seen, the service throughout the resort was wonderful and we were greeted as 'Mr & Mrs Savage' wherever we went which was a lovely touch. We booked two excursions - the Sulphur Seduction with the spa and the zip lining. Both were great! The menus were a little limited (as I’m not a big fan of fish!) but the options they did have were always delicious and meant I didn’t mind too much having the same things on a couple of days. The views were breathtaking. Everywhere you looked was like a postcard, I couldn’t stop taking photos! I am sure we will be back in touch to book a holiday for next year. Thanks for everything.

Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa, Tahiti

The 24 hours of travelling to Bora Bora was well worth it because when we landed in we were both blown away by it's beauty. The Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort was beautiful and we both didn’t want to leave. The welcome we received was lovely and the staff were attentive at all times. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. It was all picture perfect. The breakfast buffet was nice and the bungalow was so spacious and the amenities were second to none. We both loved the private pool in our garden. All in all it was excellent service. We enjoyed our excursions and there was so much to do. Me and my wife cannot wait to go back to Bora Bora. Los Angeles was just as spectacular. The Loews hotel was amazing and we loved the room as it was well equipped with everything we needed. The view from our room was incredible as this was helped by the hotel being in a great location – we were so central to everything that travelling around was a doddle. We visited all the main attractions and loved our time there. Overall we had an amazing stay and we would love to go back as six days wasn’t long enough! Our honeymoon was everything we could have ever hoped for. Lara made sure all our needs were taken care of and was always prompt to reply to our requests. We can’t wait to book our next holiday through yourselves

Little Good Harbour, Barbados

I had "difficult" requirements - middle aged single traveller who wanted to be far away from too many children during half term.... But Grace listened and gave the perfect advice and suggested the perfect location. I had one of the best holidays of my life and Grace and Turquoise were essential in making it happen. Thank you thank you thank you, Grace!

Ti Kaye Resort & Spa, Saint Lucia

The hotel was fantastic with the most friendly and attentive staff. Additionally we were spoilt by the hotel as they upgraded us to a cottage with pool which was excellent, very comfortable and relaxing. How wonderful to sit up in bed and look out at the Caribbean sea. We also both enjoyed the outdoor shower including the bird and lizard spectators! Thanks to Denis and his staff we enjoyed the most delicious food and tried lots of ingredients new to us including some beautiful fish. It was our first trip to the Caribbean and thought St Lucia was a beautiful and verdant island. We especially enjoyed our trip to the Pitons and the botanical gardens, although the sulphur springs were something of a challenge to the nose! I do hope we can manage a return trip in the future, thank you again for giving us a magical introduction.

Six Senses Laamu, Maldives

How aptly named is the Six Senses Laamu resort as for me it truly delivered an exquisite holiday experience which evoked and enriched my senses of sight, sound, smell, taste and touch. Heavenly moments of waking to a view of sunshine on crystal clear turquoise water in a setting of nature’s own symphony of lapping waves and soothing breeze gently transporting aromatic fragrances from this palm fringed paradise. Organic gardens help provide mouth watering and delicious cuisine bursting with flavours from the locally sourced produce. The sensitive design of sustainable materials used for the resort’s structure and fabric create an atmosphere of subtle luxury and comfort – wrap all this up with the care and dedication of the Laamu staff team and I came to know the true meaning of ‘wellbeing’, or my ‘sixth sense’ (one’s ability to perceive what lies beyond the powers of the 5 senses). A magic memory for my life box, maybe yours too?

Azura Benguerra, Mozambique

We adored our time in Azura and were very sad to leave. After two weeks, it felt like we lived there. Thanks to our wonderful host, Lino, we even learned some greetings and pleasantries in the local language spoken in the islands, which constantly surprised and amused the locals. Lino was the best "host" we've ever had anywhere. He swiftly became attuned to our preferences and was proactive on our behalf. We enjoyed getting to know him and are now "friends" with him on Facebook. The chef, Meeka, and her team in the kitchen turned out really top-notch food, beautifully presented, three meals a day. Portions were perfectly sized for us in the they were small, but this allowed us to enjoy the whole meal without filling up on the starter course. The other staff members were also very friendly and engaging, and everyone seemed to be proud to be working at Azura and wanting to do their best for the guests and the local community. We've found this isn't always the case at other hotels. We were also fortunate enough to meet the Azura group general manager, Thomas, who was both very interesting and great company. The scenery is, of course, spellbinding -- especially at low tide on a calm day. We were mesmerised by the colours of the sea and the views from the helicopter and also from the huge sand dune on Bazaruto during the island hopping. Our picnic lunch on North Point couldn't have been more idyllic. We loved the helicopter ride so much on the way over to the island that we decided to change our boat trip to a return helicopter ride on our departure.

Constance Le Prince Maurice, Mauritius

The holiday was fantastic thank you. The resort was the best that we have stayed at, better then the Banyan Tree dare I say it! Everything was totally 1st class and we couldn't find fault. The food was exceptional and the resort itself and the staff were outstanding too. Mauritius is a lovely place although we still always hark back to the beauty of the Maldives which I think will always be tough to beat in terms of overall location and scenery. The only thing we would have changed would have been to fly business class all the way. We upgraded the 1st leg on the way back in it was really worthwhile as it is a long trip. May I take this opportunity to thank you for all your work in arranging another great holiday to remember for us. You have been fantastic as always and we always recommend you to our friends and family as your service is second to none.

The Datai, Malaysia

Absolutely amazing venue and facilities, customer service was the best we had ever encountered and food/drink was top quality. Deluxe Villa was huge and changing to a villa with a pool was a nice contrast; perfect beach and staff always available to provide instant assistance. Would definitely consider going back.

Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita, Mauritius

My new wife and I had a fantastic trip - Chris was very helpful. If you're in Mauritius the advice to go beach in the four seasons then up the mountains to Lakaz Chaparral was excellent. Lake not as polished as FS in terms of cleanliness or service, but it has the character and charm that FS doesn't. Overall excellent trip.

Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort, Saint Lucia

Thank you so much for organising everything so seamlessly. We had a wonderful time and the kids absolutely loved it!!! The room was great and in a good position not too far up and felt extremely private, spacious and had extensive wardrobe space etc. gorgeous views of the sea and sunset. Lovely that the butler offers to unpack for you too... big help with the kids’ stuff. The shuttle service works well - so even though you need it for pretty much everywhere, there are plenty and the drivers are very nice. In fact the kids loved the tuk tuk style ones and it was a fun part of the trip. The location of the kids club was good. They offer a service that you don't even need to leave the beach/pool as they can always contact you with the mobiles they give you on the first day and would walk the kids back to you. The staff were so kind and sweet….. The evening menu/concepts at the beach restaurant didn't vary too much, but the food that was served was always excellent. As the pool area was so large, it never felt crowded or too noisy at all. You could always get a bed on the beach and around the pool - both with a very relaxed feel.

Six Senses Yao Noi, Thailand

The six senses was also stunning and would describe as rustic luxury. We loved our pool villa and again everything was beautifully thought out and clean. Our Butler or GEM as the resort say, was excellent. He went above and beyond to organise everything to perfection. The view from the hilltop pool was like nothing I have ever seen before. The food there was the best we had during the entire time in Thailand. We also loved the complimentary ice cream and collecting our breakfast eggs from the organic chickens! Trip highlights were exploring local islands on long-tail boats, sunset picnic on the beach and snorkelling at phi phi islands. The spas at both resorts were amazing and everything perfectly designed for couples. We are already discussing when we can next go back to thailand!

Rayavadee, Thailand

The Rayavadee...... well, when we got there the welcomed us to 'Paradise' and yes, it certainly is! Honestly we didn't want to leave. And I've actually never seen Paul relaxed in over 11 years until he was chilling in the pool watching the sea. We did the Thai cooking class there - OMG, best food ever! And we got such a great box of recipes to take home. We also did the Sunset Sangria trip, which happened to be when a storm was bringing the first rain in 3 months! On our left we had a beautiful sunset, and on our right were huge black clouds with lightning! We loved it! We hopped over to Krabi for the night market which the hotel had sorted us a taxi for to ensure we got there and back to the longtail boat pier. Definitely recommend that to anyone. Great stuff to buy, but more importantly amazing street food, cocktails served in bamboo and delicious coconut milk ice cream. So, whilst we are so incredibly sad to be home, we genuinely feel like we had the holiday of a lifetime, and certainly a much better honeymoon than anyone we know!! Thank you again for being so damn good at your job! I wish everything was as easy with such good results as booking with you was. We are literally singing your praises to anyone who will listen, and definitely telling them all to book their next holiday with you! Hopefully one day we will be able to book another with you too!

Elephant Hills Tented Jungle Camps, Thailand

Elephant Hills....wow! Elephant hills was just perfect. All the activities were great fun, but of course the beautiful ellies were the highlight. Being woken by gibbons in the rainforest camp was something I'll never forget too - what a sound they make!

Pangkor Laut Resort, Malaysia

Please do not be put off by the long transfer; it's worth the journey to get to paradise. Firstly, the 3-4 hours transfers from KL doesn't feel that long at all. You are in a large private car with fully reclined seats, wifi, and drinks; so you have the option to have a full horizontal sleep if you fancy. When you get to the Pangkor Laut resort, it is pure luxury. The staff are friendly and polite. The spa facilities are excellent and very good value for money. Stunning views, interesting wildlife from time to time, and incredible service. Would recommended to anybody who wants a truly relaxing trip. We had just been trekking in Borneo for 4 days so this was ideal. Could not think of a better place to spend the final week of our honeymoon. Another great suggestion from Lisa.

Borneo Nature Lodge - Kinabatangan River, Malaysia

We visited visited the Borneo Nature Lodge for 4 days. We are animal lovers but this was the first time that we experienced true wildlife in their natural habitat. Luck had it that we managed to see a wide variety of animals including orangutans, gibbons, monkeys, elephants. The guides were incredible - local, knowledgeable and friendly. The food at the lodge was another highlight of the trip with a good selection and variety from local foods to international as well. The accommodation is clean, and well kept whilst still being eco-friendly. Don't forget to spend some time in the spa after all the trekking too. A great recommendation from Lisa.

Villa Samadhi, Malaysia

Villa Samadhi was such an incredible gem in KL. The food was phenomenal and the plunge pool was such a feature! They kindly allowed us to stay in our room until we needed to depart, which was so kind and helpful. We could not recommend the place higher and also the fantastic service we've received from turquoise throughout. Thank you so much for giving us such an incredible few weeks to relax and celebrate become Mr and Mrs.

Pangkor Laut Resort, Malaysia

We had a fantastic week in Pangkor laut. The sea Spa villa meant we had such a private setting and we even caught a glimpse of the sea turtle. Fisherman's Cove particularly gave us incredible and personal service and it was such a special island. The spa was like nothing I've experienced before and we also did the half day cruise together, which was wonderful.

The Datai, Malaysia

Thank you so much for organising such an amazing honeymoon for us both. We had the most amazing couple of weeks and everything went so smoothly, thanks to your great organisation. The Datai was so tranquil and the service was fantastic. We were so spoilt by the staff and it was the most beautiful setting to truly relax and unwind after an amazing wedding weekend. We were upgraded to a villa, which was just incredible.

Velassaru, Maldives

Firstly, thank you so much for organising this fantastic holiday for us to celebrate our 1st anniversary - it was SHEER PERFECTION from start to finish!!!!! It has been the best holiday we have EVER been on! From the moment we were picked up from the airport the staff we so polite and attentive, nothing was too much trouble! The boat ride and short and we were given cold towels and water on the boat just what we needed after a long when you're not feeling (or looking!) your best! (Even the smell of these cold towels given throughout the holiday is amazing!! Lol!) When we got there we were greeted and walked to the reception by the staff and again given a lovely drink and cold towel. Then we were taken to our room and given a tour of the deluxe bungalow and the man (Almas) was very polite and helpful and talked us through everything and about activities/spa/restaurants/bars etc. Then we got a call later from Almas to say they know it's our anniversary (thank you to you!) so they would like us to have a special dinner with a cake etc. They booked us an overwater pavilion at Sand for that weekend - which was so wonderful thank you. The bungalow was fantastic - it had everything we needed and was clean and luxurious. We booked the restaurants for the rest of the week as needed. Oh my goodness the food at Velassaru is SO FANTASTIC!!! Best seafood we have ever tasted! Our favourite restaurants were Sand and Teppanyaki! Amazing gigantic prawns and the wagyu beef were incredible! The other restaurants were also great too but these were our favourite! And wonderful service to match! Lunch and breakfast were also incredible and lots of variety and great service as always! We are definitely pleased with the indulgence package and it was so so worth it! The drinks were fantastic too! The cocktails were great and if they didn't have something on the menu they were more than happy to make it! The nightly live entertainment at fen bar was also great! We also went to chill bar to watch the sunset each evening with a cocktail of course! We also loved the movie on the beach and were lucky enough to be there for the White party which was totally awesome!! Imad was a waiter we had a lot of contact with over the week and he was extremely attentive and polite and took time to talk to us. Also Azzam was great too and he waited on us for our anniversary meal and was friendly and polite on several occasions throughout the trip! Such lovely staff everywhere it made it so memorable but these two men in particular! It was easy to get the snorkelling gear sorted and we definitely made use of it! We booked two snorkelling trips too and saw turtles and so many fish! Ronan also wanted to book the night fishing trip, which I wasn't that bothered by but in the end I caught a fish and he didn't (which was secretly satisfying to beat him to it hehe ;-)) then we ate it for lunch the next day and it was fantastic. They even asked what style you wanted it cooked and what time etc! and included the side dishes! We also made use of the complimentary photoshoot, they were great! Ronan hated every minute LOL (he is not a photo person lol!) but i could not miss this!! And we got to take home a photo too! Then we got a note for the Velassaru romance experience (again thank you!) it was soooo lovely being on the beach with canapés and fizz. And Brian the manager came to say hello and said he knows you etc :-D we were soooo surprised and touched by this extra fine touch to make it super special!

Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort (formerly Akaryn), Thailand

Yet another amazing trip booked through Lara. The resort was really nice and felt ever so relaxed. The staff were exceptional, always polite and happy to talk. We took part in a cookery course which was great fun. The spa was excellent, it certainly allowed us to unwind even more. Their website does not explain their food offerings very well but prepare yourself for all of the best traditional dishes plus some excellent western food. All in all a great trip! Thanks again.

Pangkor Laut Resort, Malaysia

My wife and I had an amazing time. Transfers and flights were great. Pangkor Laut was perfect in every single way. The island itself was heaven, food and drink, the customer service, the spa was the best and just everything was spot on. Thank you very much for an amazing honeymoon. You made everything run perfectly. All the paperwork sent out to us beforehand just made us feel as though we were being looked after. Your email before our flight to wish us a great time, and your email now just tops it off.

Four Rosmead, South Africa

Thank you so much for helping us arrange our holiday to South Africa and Dubai. Even though it wasn't our honeymoon it felt as though it was with all the special Turquoise additions. Four Rosmead was a lovely guest house and in a fantastic location with some wonderful staff who couldn't do enough to help us during our stay. The Waldorf Astoria on The Palm was equally as lovely and one of the nicest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. We will certainly be back in contact to arrange our 3rd honeymoon with you!

Ol Seki Hemingways Mara Camp, Kenya

The hotel in Nairobi was fantastic and the safari was unbelievable. We saw everything, lions making a kill, Cheater making a kill, huge elephants close up, leopard and loads more. As we were the only clients in the camp we had private safaris with two guides. We will be going back again in 2018. Everything was perfect, I would highly recommend hemingways hotel stay and camp Safari it's the best Safari we have had thank you. TRAVEL ADVICE: Firstly if you would love to travel to Kenya for a Safari holiday but you are concerned about a terrorist attack or kidnapping, don't be. Book with a travel company who specialises in this type of holiday and book a four or five star hotel away from the city if possible to avoid traffic jams and noise in general. If you fly with KLM or Kenyan Airways not only will you get a very good flight, good service and a competitive ticket price you will also get to use the brand new terminal with state of the art security. On your arrival all the airport staff are very polite and professional. You will notice the security is very tight and is manned by the well armed Kenyan Army. When you walk out of the arrivals you will be met by an agent who will drive you to your hotel. When you arrive at your hotel the first person to greet you will be an armed security guard. He will scan the car for explosives and search the boot. When he is satisfied he will lower the security posts, open the gates and let you through. The next day your driver will take you to Wilson Airport, again the security is very good. You will go through security and then board your 40 minuet flight to your Safari destination. When it's time to travel back I would recommend you unwind in that five star hotel in Nairobi ( Karen is a very nice suburb of Nairobi with some very nice hotels, if you want luxury try Hemingways it's fantastic for a one night stay. You will be taken to the air strip for your flight back to Nairobi, met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Same security. You will be picked up the next day to be taken to Nairobi International Airport, but this is were the security puts other countries in the shade. Approximately half a mile before you arrive at the airport your car will be stopped at an Army check point. You will leave the car while your driver and his car goes through a scanner. You will cross the road to pass through a scanner yourself and also your hand luggage will be scanned. Your driver will then pick you up and take you to the airport for your flight home after a look round the new airport terminal which has all the latest body scanners to be used before you board your flight. At no time is your life in danger, nor will you be kidnapped but like anywhere is this world you always have to be careful just where you go and always have your own transfers booked. I hope this travel advice helps you to go to Kenya and enjoy the magnificent wildlife of Africa and it's majestic way of life. I was lucky enough to go on an eleven day trip with nine nights safari staying at Ol Seki Hemingways set in a vast private reserve bordering the Mara and it was amazing as was the two night stay in Hemingways Nairobi. I shopped around for a competitive price and was lucky enough to find Turquoise Travel who specialise in this type of travel, they are very competitive, very professional and everything went without a single hitch or delay. I will always use them for this type of travel in the future.

The Datai, Malaysia

The hotel was amazing and was above and beyond our expectations. The pictures online do not do this place justice. The staff welcoming friendly and all greeted us by name within a day or two. They went above and beyond expectations with most of the requests we made. For example they streamed a football match to our room TV for me so I could watch it at 3:30 in the morning (and all I did was enquire at concierge was if it was showing on TV). . The service is what makes this resort as good as it is. The food was great, there are not many resorts I have been too where all four restaurants provide great food and great service, but the Datai does. Their is also a good variety of food which gives you good options if you are staying for a week or longer. Although the hotel was supposedly full or very busy, we did not really notice this. It never felt like there were too many people or over crowded. We were generally able to book tables on the day for the restaurants we wanted to visit and didn't once eat dinner outside the hotel. Ashna being vegetarian, it was also nice that every restaurant in the hotel had a separate vegetarian menu, but they were also open to suggestions if you wanted to make slight changes to the food. The room was great, a lot bigger than expected with all the amenities you need. The view from the room and the balcony was not the greatest, but you forget about this very quickly as we didn't spend much time looking out of our room. The amenities in the room were good and the complimentary soft drink in the mini bar was a nice touch. The hotel is nestled in the forest and although you would expect a lot of animals creatures, mosquitos etc, we didn't really notice much, which was nice. But were also welcomed by monkeys on the balcony once in a while which gave us that feeling of being close to nature. Breakfast was good a decent variety with continental and traditional Malay options, again service was always good and efficient even at busy times. Spa - The Spa was good, not the best with regards to amenities, but the treatments and service we received was perfect. Beach - The beach was great, clean, private and with great views. Sun loungers were always available regardless of the time you went. It was also a nice touch that they would bring round the occasional complimentary ice-cream cone or mini cocktail while you were lounging on the sun beds. Overall this was a perfect stay, we both would fully recommend this hotel to anyone we speak to. It was pretty much perfect in every way. Langkawi - as a place was great. The people were very friendly and nice and is a beautiful island. We did a few activities outside the hotel, which included a Sky Dive, which was amazing as the views are fantastic. We also did a Jet ski tour which was very different, but a lot of fun allowing you to see some the smaller untouched islands surrounding the main island. We also visited the Ski bridge which was definitely worth a visit.

Nisbet Plantation, St Kitts & Nevis

We had a lovely time thanks, made all the nicer by those little Turquoise touches. Speaking of which, thanks so much for the wine!! The hotel was very welcoming - they make a real effort to greet everyone by name, which is pretty impressive given the number of people they must see. The grounds are delightful, as is the Great House, plus it was a real treat to sit at breakfast by the sea and watch the Pelicans dive bombing for fish! Afternoon tea was also great - reminded us what a great institution it is!

Constance Halaveli Resort, Maldives

I absolutely loved the Maldives and Halaveli. It was everything I had dreamed for years, pure white sand and bright blue water, stunning. The luxury of Halaveli exceeded expectations, having someone 'prepare' our room twice a day, all staff greeted us by name as soon as we walked in a room, the care and attention they gave us made us feel special and gave it that real 'honeymoon' feel. The private lounge at the airport was complete 5* treatment, not only just what you needed after a very long flight but also just the relaxation you need before you embark on another very long flight home. I honestly don't know how we're going to holiday without a private lounge again? Thank you for all your help and finding us the most perfect place to honeymoon.

Siam@Siam Design Hotel, Thailand

We had the most spectacular honeymoon. Everything was perfectly organised and we had such an unforgettable experience!

Melati Beach Resort & Spa , Thailand

Melati - loved it. Really beautiful hotel, with great service, and a really relaxed and laid back atmosphere. The staff were brilliant – so friendly and helpful, and set a really nice tone. We were a bit worried we might get bored having 12 days there, but in the end we didn’t want to leave. I’d 100% recommend it – the resort was so relaxing and peaceful, but then we had Chaweng and Fisherman’s Villas 15 mins away for when we were feeling a bit more lively! Plus there were loads of excursion options. Also, we were slightly worried about being tied to having all our food & drinks in the resort (when not in town), but it turned out there was a cheap restaurant/beach bar next door, so that was good to have as an option as well. Really loved it, thanks for recommending it!

Velassaru, Maldives

Stayed for a week at the end of Jan/early Feb. Collected at the airport by friendly staff and taken to their lovely private boat. Journey was only 20 min or so but felt like you were far away from Male. Arriving at the Island was surreal - looks even better than the photos! The beaches are white sand, clear water - the prettiest place I have ever visited. Lovely greeting at the Island, check-in was relaxing. We were super lucky and upgraded from a bungalow to a beach pool villa which was beautiful, right on the beach with a cute little pool and gorgeous outdoor bathroom. (Booked with Turquoise so think they were to thank for our upgrade!) I was nervous about the outdoor bathroom as I manage to get bitten to death by Mosquitos in the UK, let alone tropical locations! BUT, they spray the Island all the time and I left with just one tiny insect bite. We were half board which included breakfast and dinner in the main buffet restaurant. On the nights we ate there we really enjoyed the food. Had dinner at Tepynaki one evening (over the water). I thought the food was ok and my partner thought it was very good (think Benihana) - the setting made it great and at the end of the evening the chefs fed the sharks below us with leftovers which was fun! Ate at Sands one evening and the food and service was beautiful - local fish dishes were incredible. We had a couples massage and the spa was amazing - not super expensive and you get to enjoy the plunge pool and balcony area. We had our massages at 5pm and then watched the sun set from the balcony over the water - wonderful experience. Dolphin trip was fun and we saw two types of dolphins. The sunset cruise with champs was relaxing and a lovely experience too. Snorkelling was great - we stayed around the reefs on the Island. We saw so many different types of coral, fish, mantas, sharks etc. We played tennis lots and there was always availability. The view of 'rubbish island' was so distant you wouldn't know what it was if you weren't told - you mustn't be put off the island for this reason
