LUX* Saint Gilles Réunion
Surrounded by lush green gardens and swaying pine and palm trees and located on a coral sheltered lagoon at L’ Hermitage beach, LUX* Saint Gilles (formerly known as LUX* Reunion) is the only five star beach front property on Réunion Island.
Although Réunion Island is an adventure lovers playground, guests tend to stay within the charming colonial style resort and make the most of their Island Light concept of LUX* by enjoying delicious ‘ICI’ ice creams and island roasted coffee at ‘Café LUX*’.
For those can that bear to tear themselves away from the beautiful beach, there is an endless choice of activities within the hotel from the largest swimming pool on the island to tennis but with so much at your fingertips it’s hard to resist the beauty of the island. The 174 elegant, colonial rooms and suites are all located around the lagoon and face the ocean. Located on either the ground or first floor each room has its own balcony or terrace allowing you to enjoy the island atmosphere and gaze out to the island scenery from the comfort of your own room.
Each room offers a cool and light décor with touches of finely crafted fabrics and furnishings inspired by the island. For those looking for more space we recommend the Junior Suites, offering slightly larger floor space and even your own spacious lounge to relax in makes it a very comfortable choice.
