The Best Honeymoon Destinations in June

If you’re planning a summer wedding and a honeymoon in June, then you have chosen a perfect time to travel. If gorgeous weather is what you’re after, then head for the South Pacific. Bora Bora, Tahiti, Moorea, the Cook Islands and Fiji as they are all truly awe-inspiring. Of course, there’s always Bali and Lombok, which positively glow during June, as do the stunning islands in the Gulf of Thailand.

If, however, you’re not too bothered by guaranteed sunshine, then you could head to Australasia or South Africa for your honeymoon. It’s actually the best time to visit the Northern Territory, far North Queensland and the top of Western Australia. These northern states have high but dry temperatures, with glorious blue skies, so you can explore the rainforest, reef and the outback without the high humidity. It’s low season in the Caribbean so the islands are great for a quieter and more affordable honeymoon than during the busy high season months.

Don’t forget to check out the details of our Honeymoon gift list service, which allows friends and family to contribute towards travel experiences as well as the more traditional gift list items, all in one place. A complimentary service for all Turquoise honeymoon couples and looked after by a full time team, it’s just one of the ways we can ensure your dream honeymoon, becomes a reality.

  • Sydney & Queensland’s Green Gold & Gourmet

Living like a local is something that here at Turquoise we heartily endorse. There is nothing better than strolling through a local market, chatting and tasting as you go, or taking a sunrise stroll along a deserted beach to see a place through the eyes of those who live there.

  • Queensland Classic – Rainforest, Reef & Remote

Soak up the serenity in The Daintree, one of the oldest rainforests on the planet, head to the outback for an authentic Australian adventure before flying to beautiful Lizard Island, one of the most stylish island resorts in the Great Barrier Reef.

  • Qamea Resort & Spa

A jewel in the north of Fiji, Qamea is a breathtakingly beautiful island of dramatic, jungle-clad peaks and dazzling beaches. The island is skirted by pristine white sand,
azure waters with stunning coral gardens and world class surf.

  • City Sights and Mayan Delights

Why visit one fantastic destination when you can visit two?!  Twin centre trips are becoming an increasingly popular choice for holidays and honeymoons, and where better to start your adventure than in New York – the city that never sleeps! Followed by 7 nights at a romantic pool villa hideaway on Mexico’s Riviera Maya.

  • 10 night Bali & Komodo Islands Explorer

This is a wonderful combination for those seeking an authentic taste of Bali with an injection of adventure. Start with three nights to relax and explore Ubud, a charming town in the hills in the hinterland of Bali, surrounded by jungle clad valleys, rice paddies with plenty of local shops and galleries selling local art, stone statues, wooden carvings and a choice of delicious restaurants. Fly over to Komodo and explore these untouched islands by private boat - enjoy wonderful snorkelling and diving AND of course seeing the magnificent Komodo Dragons. End your trip with five nights in Sanur, one of Bali’s quieter beach resorts with a lovely local atmosphere, plenty of local cafes and restaurants and a relaxed ambience.

  • The Ultimate Kenyan Adventure

This superb safari adventure combines our favourite safari camp in the Masai Mara, Hemingways Ol Seki, with northern Kenya’s most exclusive all-villa retreat – The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille.
