The Best Honeymoon Destinations in February

Both Australia and New Zealand are great options for a honeymoon in February, as school holidays are over by the end of the month.  New Zealand’s stunning beaches, lakes, rivers, volcanoes, mountains, glaciers and geo-thermal regions are easily accessible by car (self-drive is a great way to travel). If you like the idea of an active honeymoon but don’t want to travel as far as Australasia, then you could head to Kenya – the home of the safari - a February honeymoon will guarantee great game viewing. Combine a safari with the beach or visit different areas of the country such as the Masai Mara or Samburu National Reserve. You could also consider visiting neighbouring Tanzania for a safari, with a beach add-on to the exotic isle of Zanzibar.

Of course, if that just sounds too active for you and you’d rather soak up the sun on a white-sand beach, then an idyllic honeymoon in the MaldivesMauritius or the Caribbean may be more your style. And there’s always Southeast Asia where the beaches, culture, sightseeing and cuisine will keep any honeymoon couple happy.

Don’t forget to check out the details of our Honeymoon gift list service, which allows friends and family to contribute towards travel experiences as well as the more traditional gift list items, all in one place. A complimentary service for all Turquoise honeymoon couples and looked after by a full time team, it’s just one of the ways we can ensure your dream honeymoon, becomes a reality.
