The striking Coastal Pavilions and Mountain Terrace rooms are the newest addition to the accommodation range and have brought a new element to Freycinet Lodge. The Coastal Pavilions exude a grounded elegance, that aligns beautifully with the natural surroundings. Features include an outdoor bath, king bed, natural Tasmanian timber finishing, curved glass, an included minibar and a turndown service with a difference. The Mountain Terrace rooms are contemporary and stylish, orientating you towards The Hazards mountains for views of the wilderness. Families will prefer the Family Cabins, which have a kingsize double in the main room and two single beds in the second room. For a little bit of decadence, the spacious Premier Spa Cabin offers a large spa tub and direct access to Richardsons Beach.

The Richardson’s Bistro in the main Lodge offers casual dining and takes its name from the original founder of Freycinet Lodge, Ron Richardson. Guests can enjoy the sounds of a busy open kitchen and the aroma of freshly prepared meals whilst enjoying the view of waves breaking on the beach. The Bay Restaurant boasts panoramic views of Great Oyster Bay and contemporary Australian cuisine with a focus on local seafood. Don’t miss sunset from the Hazards Bar, with a welcoming atmosphere and the chance to meet fellow guests while sampling some of Tasmania’s best boutique wines and beers.

The Lodge is perfectly placed to access a number of local activities and experiences, including the Wineglass Bay Cruise, Freycinet Adventures kayaking and the new Freycinet Walking Tour.
