Diving at Baros, Maldives

Baros has been operating since 1979 and their Dive centre was one of the first dive centred in the Maldives.  It is a PADI five star Gold Palm Dive Centre with a full experienced team offering you diving courses and lessons for beginners to Night Diving for the more experienced divers.

Baros Maldives has the great advantage of being situated in the middle of the Atoll which gives Baros an all year around opportunity to dive in one of the most amazing dive spots. Even the house reef is a very popular diving spot as they are fortunate enough to have one of the healthiest house reefs in the Maldives.

Due to the long term establishment of the dive centre and its owners they also have dive spots on offer which are exclusive areas only dived by Divers Baros Maldives. This means you won’t have other hotel guests diving with you offering you a more private diving experience.

Night diving is also available on a regular basis and also the new exciting Fluo night dive which is where you dive with special lights to generate the maximum amount of bio-fluorescence meaning you will see the most amazing colours.

Staying one week it is very likely to see the top 10 of the Maldives marine life:

  • 1 Shark, 2 Rays, 3 Turtles, 4. Napoleon wrasse, 5 Moray eels, 6 Groupers, 7 Snappers, 8 Tuna, 9 Trevally, 10 Lionfish
  • If you are interested to see manta rays we recommend visiting Baros in March to April or in September to November.

Here is a little taste of what you will see...
